Anyone else come to some wildly different conclusion on Ghibli movies with age?
Kiki's Delivery Service:
Kid: Being a witch is so cool!
Adult: Growing up and growing apart from the life you had before is a natural progression of life. You aren't losing the old parts of yourself, just finding new pieces that were there all along. Life is about changing, you'll never stay stagnant.
Ponyo:
Kid: She's such a cute fish, you should always follow your dreams!
Adult: Leaving home will not take you away from your family. Even when you're miles away and you feel like you're in different worlds your family will still be there, encouraging you. Parents are meant to let go of their kids at some point.
Howl's Moving Castle:
Kid: Sophie's a big sister like me! I want to a princess in a magic castle.
Adult (I've also read the book): Sometimes you don't find your place in this world, you make one. The people that come along with you will see you through every ugly part of yourself and you would do the same for them. Chase after that shooting star.
Spirited Away:
Kid: What just happened...
Adult: SHIT HAPPENS! And it sucks, life sucks but you keep going. You can cry along the way. You are being so fucking brave for even going on this hellish journey we call life. It's okay. You're okay.

[ID: two screenshots from 'revolutionary girl utena' of nanami and touga standing in the rose garden. nanami imploringly clings to touga, who stands stiffly with his face obscured from the audience. in the first screenshot, nanami says: 'i know i have to accept that you go out with girls.'
in the second screenshot, nanami continues: 'but don't go out with a girl like her!' /end ID]

Literally always thinking about Aizawa instantly relaxing the moment Mic joins him and All Might at the bar and also how he didn't have to tell Hizashi where they were but he did anyway knowing full well he'd show up even without a direct invitation. This whole interaction is from Yagi's POV but it's so obvious that Hizashi showed up just to help Aizawa's discomfort
Also these bits: Aizawa being embarrassed at all of Hizashi's nicknames for him and Hizashi shortening "Prince of Slumberland" to "POS" which also means "Piece Of Shit" LMAOOOOO
Lastly: Hizashi seems to have the highest alcoholic tolerance of the group! Nemuri's evil cocktail only knocks him out for a minute or so before he bounces back same as ever and stays sober enough to keep up conversation with Yagi while everyone else is piss drunk. And he confirms that Aizawa's headlocks are in fact a result of the drink, implying he doesn't usually do that when flustered lolol

I love pointing out random continuity errors in Livesies, but here's my favourite.
In Medda's theatre, as Jack's running down to give her a hug, you can see one of the Bowery Beauties getting ready to walk across the stage with one of who I'm guessing are the stage crew at the theatre.
But then, directly afterwards, we see that it's now the woman Les sold to earlier, walking now with who I'm guessing is Elmer?
Also, the stage crewmen are magically now Bunsen, JoJo, and Henry
