She belongs to the group called Guardian Cats and resides in the basement of a church, permanently due to her condition. She does not speak or is mentioned for the night after her first appearance, Spire, one of the cats taking care of her, is seen cleaning up her bedding as she died the last night. Ah another character with literally no story or even dialogue and yet I put effort into their design anyways!!! I haven’t read Tigerheart’s shadow because,,, I don’t like Tigerheart and having him speak more than one page a chapter seems like torture to me. But I’m sure the book is cool!! Cats that live the basement of a church??? I love that!! Warrior cats world building lacks in my opinion so why did they place that cool idea in a novellaaaaaaaaa????

Tigerheartstar sketches from early August - he is a he/him butch lesbian to me. And dovewing was comphet for bumblestripe and realized she was a lesbian via tiger. the big drawing is tigerheart specifically, i hc him as filling out w more muscle and fat and fur as he settles into leadership after the stress of his warriorhood. also all the small doodles are about animal jam he’s saying “dovewing I’m not training in the dark forest that’s my sister’s account”

I kind of like how the barn in the old territory functions as a manifestation of “escape” from abuse and trauma completely accidentally. Obviously you mentioned Ravenpaw but it also applies to Barley if you take his BloodClan backstory into account. It’s where Crookedstar goes after he breaks his jaw and feels neglected by the Clan, meeting Fleck and learning how to hunt and eat from cats who are nothing but supportive. It’s where the four Clans shelter before going on the Great Journey due to the destroyed forest (okay this one might be cheating because technically it’s an abandoned house near the farm but whatever). And two SkyClan cats (Cloudmist and Cherrytail) stay with Barley to recuperate after they’re driven from their home in the gorge. Completely unintentional on the Erins’ part but I like that thematic through line.

OOOH ANON YOUR MIND YOU'RE RIGHT. That's soo cute and sweet and I love that...it really is a breath of fresh air for the cats to get away from silly Clan rules and just be able to chill somewhere. It makes sense a farm with lots of mice would be able to fulfill that chill space.
