There are no fireworks, no dramatic orchestra playing in the background when Chuuya’s hand touches his own. It doesn’t feel magical.

It burns like sulphuric acid.

Get away.

He wishes he could. He needs to take at least a few hundred steps back. Dazai’s skin melts and bubbles like it’s boiling and he can’t do anything else but stare.

Stare straight into widened pupils. Get pulled into a shade of blue that makes him shrink into himself and shiver. 

(But he doesn't want to let go, no. Dazai wants to hold it until he sees the white of his bones.)

There's something akin to anger in Chuuya’s eyes — maybe with a hint of repulsion. Chuuya squeezes his hand, hard to the point it's bruising. 

And Dazai beams at him.

The myth of Dibutades is the myth of painting, but I like to think of it as the myth of love.

Hi! I'm loving the designs for your FMA cowboy AU, especially Al's! I was wondering, would he have any sort of speech impediment from his lower jaw being metal? It sounds like he still has his teeth, palettes, and tongue, but what about sounds that need both lips, like M, B, and P? Just curious if he'd struggle with those. Love your art!

heads up! intense injury cw!

initially what i had for Al was that it was just his jaw was replaced with some scarring along the right side of his head and neck. my initial drawings actually didn't incorporate any neck connection but the most recent times ive drawn it it's extended to the neck bc tbh that makes more sense to me, idk what i was thinking originally. theres no additional support for the automail jaw. what was i THINKING.

so a little more than half of al's jaw is actually missing. he's got automail for the right side of his jaw, a replacement for the TMJ and some jaw muscles, as well as extending a bit further down his neck for muscles that impact movement. the jaw that we actually see (that's similar to the armor in fma) is a cover for wiring protection, and it extends over to the other side of his face both for balance and for aesthetic purposes

al retains his upper lip and at least a portion of his lower lip. he's missing up to his lateral incisor on the right side of his lower jaw, and he still has his tongue. his jaw's range of motion isn't super extensive, and is also constrained due to scarring on his face

i think al would have similar issues that come with TMJ irritation/TMD. some ppl with tmd mention sounding like they're slurring or mumbling, as well as speaking slower to articulate better.

since he's still got a portion of his lower lip, he'd be able to make p, b, m, v, f sounds, but they're a little more whistle-y. same with s and z

his normal speaking voice would be pretty soft, hoarse, and a little wheezy. people mistake him for mumbling a lot. he tries to move his jaw as infrequently as possible, so it often sounds like he's speaking with his teeth together

Just thinking about maybe knowing that you accidentally in your ignorance-fueled hubris drove one of the cores of your reality insane and possibly killed the other two so now your world crumbles around you and you're going around trying desperately to hold the cracks together in a losing battle while he wanders around breaking things even more, and then he finds you and attacks you and kidnaps one of your people and you don't know what to do anymore...

The Time Travelers do not understand the true potential of the Time Keepers. Whether its destruction or creation, they genuinely cannot grasp the power they hold.

The TMD (Time Managament Department) are the people trying to hold together reality, trying to fix and figure out how to solve these problems.

For all they know, they angered the ‘one’ existing Time Keeper, which is Sabo. They didn’t know Luffy was a Time Keeper, and they didn’t even know Ace existed in the first place.

They mingled with time, not considering the consequences! Now everyone is involved and multiple lives are lost.

The only reason not everything is lost, is because Ace is holding it together. Forcing the gears of time to continue and not crumble to the degree where everything is gone. Because he is the Keeper of The Past, once everything stops, he would be the only one left until he eventually dies out.

You fool. You’ve let me infodump about something I’m insanely passionate about! Everything will be put under the cut, so I don’t bombard you all with a wall of text gklsdlakj

OKAY SO! MFRP stands for MultiFandom RolePlay. Mine’s a private discord server between me and my buddies, where we all sit and RP because writing together’s fun! Been doin RP since I was a wee little lad. I’ve been running this server for 3 years now- just turned 3 on Dec 15th. Me and my buddies take characters we’re passionate about, and write as if we are them. Jack and Yuya specifically are muses I’ve had for around.. 5? 6 years now? It’s the reason why Yuya’s so old compared to canon, actually. But I digress.

The AU designs themselves aren’t from a solid AU plot point, it’s a culmination of stuff that’s happened in the server! Some of these designs me and my friends have originally come into the server like that- and we have extensive backstory/au written beforehand- or it’s a normal guy who gets messed up later on. With the latter, it’s usually because of some magical force of fuckery that we call Transmagica Monstrum Disease. It’s a plot-point that started many years ago, and there's still no known cure for the ailment. TMD is highly contagious, and its only goal is to spread to everything and anything organic. 

TMD, 9 out of 10 times, will alter the users body in some way, shape, or form. Via giving them some sort of physical alteration, a power alteration, or both. The initial ‘transformation’ stage is painful, and lasting side effects are present. Those afflicted may enter a “feral/berserk” state that’s uncontrollable and difficult to quell. Initial harnessing of the powers can also be difficult, and many end up hurting themselves before learning to harness them. It’s beneficial, but also has its downsides. 

By the RPers/muns choice, a character/muse can get infected with TMD.

Finally made bios for My Ninjago x LMK AU, which I’ll be calling ‘Ninjago Reborn’

Both in relation to the plot and because most of Wukong and Nezha’s movie titles have ‘Reborn’ in them.

Summary of the AU:

The Au starts in Ninjago, during the Merge, years after the Imperium rule. The Merges got worse that every single Elemental Master was called to close the portals that were seeping into the world, however, mid-way through the convergence an attack from the Heavens struck down into the battlefield, killing every single Elemental Master in sight, Lloyd in an effort to save Sora and Arin opens a portal and sends them to the future where he knows they’ll be safe. After Sora and Arin settle into the city of Megapolis, they find out that Lloyd had reincarnated into the Monkey King’s son, Qi Xiaotian. With the Addition of somehow being able to hold every single Elemental Power in existence…without being able to control any of them. Now, with the Monkey King’s staff given to him, MK the Monkie Kid upholds the legacy of the Elemental Masters and the Legacy of the Monkey King.

Extra Character Info:

Qi Xiaotian/MK

-His original name was ‘Sun Luzhen’ (Monkey who Walks Reality) But Wukong thought to give MK his own destiny without being bound to just being ‘Monkey’ so he called him ‘Qi Xiaotian’ (Together Little Heaven/Sky)

-MK holds all the Powers of the Elemental Masters for some unknown reason, however this does not include, Tech, (Whatever the hell Arin’s is), Ice, Heat and Time.

-MK’s strongest powers amongst all of them is Fire and Earth. Water, Wind and Lightning are the ones he can barely tap into.

-MK wears a human disguise, he is aware of his Stone Monkey past, however, it is much rare to see a monkey demon just running about Megapolis, and MK wants to be treated normally.

-Government wise, MK’s legal guardians are Arin and Sora. Who MK sees as older siblings. Sometimes he’ll use ‘Garmadon’ as his last name, most of the time, no.

-MK still has his father’s powers.

Arin

-Still keeps Riyu, Riyu just flies off somewhere sometimes (Actual context is that creator can’t freaking draw dragons)

-His power has improved since Dragon’s Rising.

-Arin makes some of his pies with the fruits from Flower Fruit Mountain, which is why the owner of the bakery doesn’t want him to leave. (Not like he will)

-Arin becomes the first Dragon Rider in a long time to ride a dragon without chains.

-Replaces the Grappling Hook for a spear.

-Arin and Sora are different when it comes to battle so expect them to go feral.

-Arin and Sora have their own apartment, but they do help Wukong raise MK.

-Arin is MK’s Senior

Sora

-Is a famous racer next to Mei and it’s how MK meets Mei in this universe.

-She uses her streams to gain money for her own Research Lab in Megapolis, that requires her to try and find ways to make the technology she makes without the need of her powers.

-Her powers now replicate Creation, just as long as one of those screens around her is on the ground.

-She uses that to create the ‘Triple SA Mark Defense Mech’ or the ‘TMD Mech’ which is basically a power rangers type mech only used for emergencies.

-She helps around with Wukong so Arin gets more screen time than her.

-Sora is MK’s senior.

Sun Wukong

-A little different from Canon Wukong, wears the makeup to hide the circlet scar that hasn’t healed because of it molding around his head for a long period of time.

-His fur is slightly cleaned from burn marks, which were caused by the Trigram furnace, and he has removed the glamour from his eyes. Well only around MK.

-Built a tombstone dedicated to Lloyd and a separate area for the rest of the Ninja.

-Is the Legal Guardian of Arin,Sora and MK, as well as the legal owner of Riyu.

-Wukong is actually a better teacher here (Not that he was bad before, it’s just that his method tended to mirror Subodhi a little)

-Knows Spinjitsu and Ninjargon for some reason.

i'm just gonna rec everything by @curiousaur / astrosaur @ ao3 😭 her depiction of the ducks is *chef's kiss* and aligns so perfectly with how i see them, especially charlie, adam, and jesse. with a big shout out to Potential (charlie/jesse, superpowers AU), which was written for me and a total wet dream, and also not for the faint of heart, which is the best 9line fic ever written. closely followed by flock together, the best 9line series ever written (there's a version with a banksway-only ending if that's more your cup of tea). also, if you're a tmdgc fan, her koob/aj fic virtual success is a thing of beauty. a+ would read over and over again (and i do!!!)
