the night laura died x the night will vanished
Telling the truth to a loved one.
Falling off a bike.
Running in the woods.
A shed.
Bathed in light, moments before her death/his disappearance.
✨Some unhinged takes ✨
In FWWM there is Mike = One Armed Man, looking for Bob/Leland, eager to find him, trying to stop him from possessing Laura
What if the night Will disappeared, there was someone trying to stop the "thing" that took him?
Laura sees the face of his murderer: it was Leland, her dad, while possessed by Bob.
Rewatching Will's disappearance, I couldn't help but notice that Will muttered "please..." as if I don't know, he was reliving some experience? He wasn't scared like you know, screaming bloody murder scared. He seemed to be scared of something real. Smth Smth Vecna being shapeshifter and... resembling Lonnie?
tagging @pinkeoni because they helped me finding some of these parallels and because yk, unhinged together.

you know, just thinking thoughts and adding fuel to a raging fire.
(1991 > 2016)
(1959 > 1986)
@pinkeoni -> feral about this, like, why does vecna looks like the 2016 arm?

The Birth of Evil in Twin Peaks and Similarities with Stranger Things
I've been thinking about Twin Peaks and Stranger Things parallels again. And it's always Twin Peaks: The Return's 8th episode that gives me stuff to think about.
The Birth of the Evil
The Evil in Twin Peaks saw the light of day on July 16th, 1945, in New Mexico, with the Manhattan Project - which started the Atomic age.
This explosion generated smoke, dust... and much more. The Convenience Store and the Woodsmen, for example.
Or the creature with the gaping mouth (the Experiment)
which gave birth to Bob.
Even if Bob was born here, he didn't start attacking straightaway.
The Birth of the Good
In the purple sea of consciousness, there is a lighthouse on a rocky atall. And here the Fireman lives with Senorita Dido
The Fireman (The Giant) sees on a screen what happened. He saw the birth of Evil. And gives birth to the Good.
Laura Palmer, who is in a sphere (like Bob was) is then sent to the earth, to save it from the Evil.
Eleven years later
Bob's eggs open and the Evil starts spreading everywhere thanks to the help of the Woodsmen.
If Bob is the Fire, the Woodsmen are the Smoke, concealing Bob's actions.
And eventually, the Evil reaches Mike (the one-armed man) and a ring of suffering begins.
How does this tie to Stranger Things?
I think that there are some cool connections to Stranger Things - which I believe was inspired by Twin Peaks.
First off, go and see the photos of the explosion. Isn't White Sands' landscape very similar to the UD pre-1983? And doesn't the explosion look like the MindFlayer in its original form?
Then, the face of Bob and Laura inside of a sphere reminded me of this tweet from the ST writers - that contained this book cover
Then probably my favorite similarity: the eggs.
Furthermore, the birth of El is so very similar to the birth of Laura.
