📽 EVIL DEAD 📽 Blockbuster TobiView 🧟‍♀️ Als Remake oder Neuinterpretation bezeichnet, ist EVIL DEAD aus der Feder von Rodo Sayagues und Regisseur Fede Alvarez ganz klar an den Originalfilm “Tanz der Teufel“ von Sam Raimi aus dem Jahr 1981 anlehnt. Allerdings sieht man mit EVIL DEAD einen Horror-Terrorfilm mit extrem hohem Blutanteil, dem der augenzwinkernde Humor des “Originals“ von 1981 schlicht fehlt. 💀 Dieses “Manko“ gleicht der Film durch Brutalität, blutige Schockeffekte und einem sehr hohen Gewaltgrad aus. Fede Alvarez‘ Inszenierung ist schonungslos intensiv und wirkt auf viele evtl. verstörend. Die drastische Gewalt und intensiv-blutige Horror-Orgie könnte bei manchen zart besaiteten Gemütern evtl. sogar auf den Magen schlagen. 🩸 Der Cast kommt ohne große Namen aus, was in diesem Fall aber nicht negativ ausgelegt wird. Die Darsteller machen ihre Sache gut, allen voran Jane Levy als Mia. EVIL DEAD ist das Hollywood-Debüt von Kurzfilm-Regisseur Fede Alvarez, der 3 Jahre später mit “Don’t Breathe“ einen bockstarken Horror-Thriller nachlieferte. 🔪 Die aus dem Original bekannt Story wird durch kleine Ergänzungen aufgewertet, sorgt dadurch für eine entsprechende Atmosphäre, die der gezeigten “Tour de Force“ zugutekommt. Abgerundet wird das Ganze durch eine hervorragende Soundkulisse. Der Film kommt weitestgehend ohne CGI aus und so wirken die Effekte tatsächlich runder und realistischer, was den Ekelfaktor zusätzlich nach oben schraubt. Die gesamte Inszenierung ist mehr als gelungen und hebt sich von den sonst aus Einheitsbrei gekochten generischen Hollywood-Horror-Produktionen ab. 🪓 EVIL DEAD ist ein starker, intensiver und blutiger Horrorfilm, der dem Original “Tanz der Teufel“ ohne Probleme das Wasser reichen kann.
