Omg I was just watching the scene where Jd, Bruce, and Branch all sing together and if you look closely Branch turns more blue when he sings with them! This could just be the lighting but id like to think it isn’t and he’s just happy to be singing with them ❤️

I like to hc that after the events of trolls 3 the brothers would just randomly hang out, to get to know each other again and bond, and one day some random person saw them and the interaction went along the lines of:

Stranger to Branch: *Laughs* Being the oldest must be hard.

*All brothers look at each other in confusion*

Branch: Umm...I'm not the oldest.

Stranger: Oh. Oh, I'm sorry. I just though- Well because- Um... well, who is the oldest?

JD: That would be me.

Stranger: I never would have thought. It's just that Branch is always so serious and protective, of himself and the village. Plus, look at those crow's feet. *They say jokingly obvi* Anyway, sorry again. Have a nice day.

After that the brothers all turn to look at Branch, like REALLY look at Branch. The deep lines and wrinkles, probably permanently scars from living in the wild for like 20 years and his stitched up pants that he did himself. Then Branch is all like,

"What? Raising myself since I was 4 wasn't an easy easy and stress-free job to do."

And the weight of leaving a full child to fend for themselves really hits them like a truck and they start tearing up and apologizing and they sit down to finally and fully talk about the elephant in the room. I just know that after the events of trolls 3 Branch did not just fully forgive and forget the 2 decades of abandonment and probably still harbors a bit of anger and other emotions deep down but he doesn't talk about it and I need him to talk about it and just ARRGH-

More brozone headcanons

John Dory knows French. Someone asks them if they know any other languages and JD busts out in French. The others are shocked that he knows another language and he's fluent in it. Problem is for about an hour he only speaks in French

Floyd was the kid who couldn't be trusted around stickers or glitter

Clay is the most flexible of the brothers. He can casually do the splits or a back bend. He used to bend over backwards to freak Floyd out (like the girl from the ring?)

Clay has freckles on his face, shoulders, chest and back. Hiding in the shadows of the golf course caused them to fade so they're not as prominent in his adulthood

Clay also squishes Floyd's cheeks like he did to Branch

John dropped out of high school but he did get his GED

John made up a fake amusement park for teens only when he just wanted some time away from the others. His plan worked until Spruce turned thirteen and wanted to come with him. So they left the pod together and JD broke the news to him that it was fake but he could go do what he wanted for a little bit and to not tell the others

John Dory's keychain is very basic. No extra keys for anything or charms. Just keys. His wallet however is a different story

Bruce's keychain however is so extra. Has like twenty different keys on it, lots of little charms. He just walking around jingle jangling

John could still clean up any mess the boys make faster than they ever could

Clay has shrimp posture, John Dory is constantly gently fixing it so Clay doesn't have back problems in the future

JD and Bruce are the strongest of the brothers, John just has a bad back

Bruce is like a space heater. He gives off so much body heat. But that's nothing compared to Brandy

Floyd and Clay often give off Dan and Arin from the ten minute power hour vibes. One of them is living for the chaos (often Clay) and the other is laughing his ass off at the others chaos (often Floyd). If I had the skills to animate I would totally do something like this for them but maybe I'll just write it

even tho you could say it might be somewhat contradictory character wise I think it would be kinda cute and funny if we ended up finding out that Branch has always somewhat been Quirky even as a baby.

like don't get me wrong Grandma's death definitely amplified these certain behaviours to the absolute extreme but maybe in terms of personality traits they were always a part of Branch ever since he was born.

like imagine if we had a scene in the future where During a Disagreement Branch blames him being this way on Grandmas death and his bros not being there only for the older bros to all look at each other in confusion and we see a bunch of brief flashbacks showing Baby Branch doing very adult Branch like things.

like constantly nagging his big bros about being safe when doing certain things no matter how Basic and being paranoid and careful whenever one of them was ill wearing a mask and cleaning anything the sick person touched ya know just stuff like that.

I just think it'd be pretty funny not to mention kinda adorable if we found out Branch had always been a little "" quirky "" ever since he was a baby. 💖

and Poppy is surprised to find this out and even Branch himself is surprised since he always viewed this as perfectly normal Behaviour from a kid lol.

RANDOM Trolls HEAD-CANNON!!!!!

1. What if trolls would communicate through Dance~ (LIKE BEE’S) sometimes the music at a party is too Loud to hear over, so they will just dance at one another to communicate (or out of boredom)

2. Pop trolls are the only ones able to use their hair the easiest, in the first movie we get a lot of hair action with the POP Trolls in the second movie it’s barely used the funk trolls don’t use it the classical trolls the techno trolls. NONE of them use their hair, the country trolls use a mustache but nothing else. Even the Rock trolls didn’t use it but when rock Branch used his mullet it took him a few seconds and concentration to get it to grab Poppy. WHAT am I building too? Good question I think the Pop trolls are the only ones who have a good enough control over their hair because they started gaining those hair abilities due to the bergans catching and eating the pop trolls and they started gaining a defense mechanism against predators (Bergans).

Crynth HC list

How they meet:

•At the Hairnasium. With Synth being a fitness trainer and Synth being a yoga instructor, they’re very likely to have already interacted before. They’ve even shown up in the same episode at the hairnasium(S5E4)

How they get close:

•Synth had seen Creek around at the Hairnasium a couple times and had already made attempts at interacting with him through comments on basic things like Creeks yoga routine and then just the most random topics that leave Creek confused asf

•Creek has mostly become a loner by now. He does his own thing and doesnt really mind it. He’s basically accepted his place in the village. But when Synth started following him around like a lost puppy he’s left with a mixed range of feelings towards it.

•At first Creek really didn’t care for Synth. At most he saw him as new form of entertainment for when he would show up and say the most random things. He’d suggest Synth do things that he would fall for and agree to just to laugh to himself about it.

•It started off as just interactions and shenanigans at the hairnasium, but one day Synth decided he wanted to follow Creek out and talk his ear off the whole way back to Creeks pod. Ever since then they started leaving together everyday.

•Almost every time theyre walking to Creeks pod they stop to sit somewhere in the grass to just chill, using that moment to spend time together a bit more. Its an attempt at some peaceful silence until Synth needs something to stimulate his brain. So then they either go somewhere else or keep walking

•By the time they arrive at the pod it gets pretty dark. Synth, being deathly afraid of the dark, used to make it back to the Techno Lagoon before then. Now sometimes he ends up just falling asleep on Creek’s little cushions he has on the floor whenever he doesn’t feel like treading back home in the dark, glowsticks or not.

•Creek is still completely in denial of himself that he cares for Synth or sees him as a friend. By the time they’re in their routine he’s still telling himself this is purely to keep himself busy

•Its as soon as theres a moment where Synth cant be around that he starts to just sit there. Even when he attempts to distract himself through yoga and whatnot, he catches him checking to see if Synth’s come around yet. He gets nervous and feels like he doesn’t know what to do with himself

•Trolls who are familiar with Creek, especially Branch, have a huge gripe about the two getting close. Branch especially tries to voice his concerns to Synth without trying to completely out what Creek has done. He just doesn’t want to see Synth get hurt at all

•Synth tries to listen to everyones concerns, but every time he’s around Creek he ends up completely forgetting the warnings

Catching feelings:

•Creek catches feelings first. The moment it started to hit him was one early evening when Synth had them take a detour to the techno lagoon bc he wanted to do smth new with Creek before they ended the day. They ended up playing in the water and having a water fight. Princess & the frog moment under water of holding each other, eyes lock, boom. Creek’s feelings for Synth crank up a ton.

•At first Creek is in absolute denial. He still has to take in the fact that he even cares for Synth, especially to this extent. When he does accept it though it takes a good couple of business days.

•Creek spends his time taking it in by pretty much falling much more quiet than usual on Synth during their hangout time. He’ll have his usual punchable, smug face while just watching Synth do his thing or ramble to him about whatever. But deep down he’s thinking

•After Creeks able to conclude the feelings are there he then takes an extra couple of business days to decide what he wants to do about it. Leaving Synth confused at his changed demeanor

•Once Creek finally concluded on everything, it being a major battle within himself, he realizes he doesnt have that big of a chance with Synth. Considering how much Synths friends are against him, he couldnt dare to be open about his feelings.

•Creek also had come to the realization that Synth is all he has in a friend alone. He’s naive enough to stand beside him and still be confused as to why that could be so wrong. Creek couldnt dare to drive him away

•Eventually Creek had decided he would not confess his feelings at all to Synth. One thing he did realize tho is that he can still make flirtatious gestures towards him.

•He’ll take his hand and rub the back of it with his thumb, rub his shoulders, give him pet names, and even have Synth rest on him during their peaceful hang out moments

•Synth doesnt pick up on any of the romanric gestures tho. Boy is extremely oblivious to what it means, but it does help in him figuring out his own feelings

•Synth has never been in a relationship before nor has he ever caught feelings like this, which leads to him taking a lot longer to realize what he’s feeling for Creek is

•Synth falls harder when he does. He doesnt the moment Creek does, only when Creek begins his romantic gestures. That’s when Synth starts feeling it.

Confession

•Technically, Synth confessed first without completely knowing it. He outed himself and his feelings to Creek without knowing what any of it meant. He had finally gotten confused enough that he just outright asked Creek if he knew what the feelings he had was

•”Bro, I’m not gonna lie, I’m feeling some weird things and I dunno what they are. It’s weird because I’ve never felt this way towards anybody. I just want to be close to you all the time. Do you know what this is?”-Synth

•”Oh, Glowstick. If you’ve been in love with me all this time you could have just said it”-Creek and his smug ass

Relationship

•Creek is still a smug asshole, but by now he changes his demeanor towards Synth. He’s still his old slappable self but he’s more noticeably caring towards him

•They still continue the physical touch of holding hands, rubbing each others shoulders, Synth loves to play with Creeks hands and hair, and counts his glitter freckles when super bored. Especially diring cuddle time and he has to try to be still a bit longer

•Creek surprised himself with this one but he actually enjoys giving Synth sweet treats whenever he can and also makes him breakfast in the morning when he stays the night

•Creek does all the active flirting, leaving Synth a giggling mess each time. Synth only flirts without even knowing its flirting. A lot of the times its mimicking what Creek’s done and it mostly looks silly, to Creeks amusement

•Their most favorite way to spend time together is just to cuddle in peaceful quiet. Synth needs a lot of movement and noise bc boy is adhd, so they’ll just be laying or sitting there and Synth would be tapping something while humming a tune to keep his brain occupied.

•Sometimes Creek will join him in humming, which gets Synth riled up and he ends up pulling Creek up so they can sing and dance.

•Who initiates it first really depends and goes either way. Sometimes it starts with Synth crawling into Creeks lap while he’s doing yoga and eventually causes him to give up and just lay there. Other days its Creek catching a hyper Synth and dragging him down to have a peaceful nap

•Creek is happy to crash a party so he joyfully joins Synth in whatever party or event he goes to. He’s mostly either doing his own thing right at Synths side or lets him run off, sometimes admiring him from afar.

•Synth spends the night at Creeks pod a lot more. They cuddle for as long as time allows them too. Its their love language

•They rarely argue and moreso Synths looking hurt and Creek looks absolutely sorry for anything he’d done be it big or small.

•communication is a big one they’re learning about together. Especially with it being Synths first relationship and Creek crawling out of being a toxic ass overall

•Poppy and Branch help Creek out with communication and more healthier relationships habits, altho a good majority of Branch’s side is just him threatening Creeks life if he so dared try anything he lists out on the not-to-dos list

Doing more Trolls (Branch-centric ‘cuz he’s my favorite) headcanons:

Branch speaks both Spanish and Korean, he learned from the K-pop Gang and Reggaeton Trolls

Kismet all have minor scars from either getting in a tussle with Branch, or saving him from trouble (taking on a big predator-critter on his own, one of his inventions almost exploding in his face, getting into confrontations with trolls bothering him (aka Creek and co.), etc.)

YK how we see how trolls can make their hair glow in the dark in ttbgo? Branch’s eyes glow in the dark. It’s pretty rare, since most trolls don’t roam in complete darkness, like he probably did for so many years to avoid detection from predators, so most trolls don’t even know they have that capability. It allows him to see in the dark, as well as scare the shit out of anyone that might catch a glance of him (Kismet, the bros, etc.)

A continuation of the hc that Branch needs glasses, from the post linked above: Since he stopped wearing glasses at such a young age, Branch struggled a lot with both reading and writing. This resulted in him having to label things in his ration-stock with very big letters, which were often also misspelled. No one, neither Kismet nor the Snackpack, thought to correct him, since they didn’t deem it too important, but Clay was genuinely saddened by the fact that Branch had had to struggle with this from such a young age. He offers to help Branch correct the mistakes and teach him how to read and write properly, which makes Branch extremely embarrassed at first, but he reluctantly obliges when he sees how nonjudgmental Clay is about it. Clay later discovers that the main reason Branch struggles so much, is bcs he needs glasses, and not just bcs he never got taught grammar past the age of like five (around the time Rosiepuff died). This has Clay silently cursing himself out, ‘cuz how could he forget in the first place that his baby brother needed glasses?? He makes it his objective to get Branch some new glasses, which Branch shows much reluctance to in the beginning, and it takes a lot of convincing from Clay, Poppy and everyone else to get him to try it. Cue Branch seeing clearly for the first time in 20 years, and the first -and almost only thing he can comment on, is how beautiful Poppy is. Cue Poppy getting emotional.

Bruce probably has the softest hair in the world, and gets pretty upset when he learns that Branch, whose hair used to be almost as soft as his, hasn’t done any haircare other than brushing it every few weeks for 20 years. That and just taking a break and relaxing overall. He takes it upon himself to try and get Branch to relax, and tries to treat him to a bro-spa-day, but ends up going way overboard with face masks, hair rollers, sauna, whale sounds, burning lavender-scented incense, etc. It’s all just way too overstimulating, and instead of relaxing, Branch is just put in a state of overwhelming, suffocating stress. Bruce his completely oblivious to this, until Brandy points out how Branch had already accidentally crushed five coconut-drinks in his hand, and maybe, he should try and sus out what’s bothering him instead of continually handing him drinks. This leads to Bruce pulling Branch away, where they have an heart-to-heart; Branch tries to apologize at first, since he was trying so hard to keep up and stay relaxed, as to not bring down the mood, and mentions how the trolls back in pop-village would always complain that he did that, back when he was gray. Bruce is heartbroken when hearing this; for one, the fact that Branch had to endure so much (frankly a little cruel) judgement from everyone around him, when he’d just been afraid, instead of anyone helping him or taking his feelings into consideration. And secondly, that he now felt he couldn’t speak up about what’s bothering him, with the fear he’d be rejected. Bruce ofc tells him he has nothing to apologize for, and that it should be him apologizing, since he never even noticed how uncomfortable Branch was; and they continue the rest of the bro-spa-day, doing something low key, but still relaxing.

Floyd partied hard during his solo-career days, and is horrified to see his baby brother with a candy sucker (I hc them as being like drugs for trolls)

Branch clings to others when he sleeps, but only sleeps when he feels secure enough, so there’s been many sleepless nights. Kismet tries to combat this by staying with him to ‘keep lookout’ while he naps. This is how they discovered the clinging, and it later evolved into all of Kismet taking regular naps together, in an almost sleep pile (think the Croods)

Branch is a silent observer and easily notices patterns and specific quirks with the ones he’s close with. This leads to him often being a step ahead; Ablaze likes his coffee a certain way at a specific time in the morning? Branch already has it ready for him when he walks in the kitchen. Hype has a tendency to bump into a specific spot on the table every time he walks past it? Branch is there, ready to hold a protective hand over the spot when he walks by. Poppy usually runs out of scrapbooking-material around the same time at the end of every week? Branch is already waiting at her door with another unrequested ‘delivery’. Branch always returning with specific things, snacks, etc, every time he return from a run in the village, because ‘he knew they (each individual member of Kismet) liked those things thing, snacks, etc.

Branch doesn’t show physical affection very often, so when he does, it’s automatic bragging-rights for whomever got shown affection (Kismet, Brozone, The Snackpack), plus it often puts them in an emotional state. (And yes, everyone (Kismet and Brozone) is very jealous of Poppy and how much more physical affection Branch shows her)

some Head Cannons about Bro zone inspired by the fact literally everyone else has been doing these posts lol.

I think Floyd and Clay would end up trying to live with Branch in the Bunker but would find it too hard for multiple reasons one being Branch actually has loud night terrors often. that no one knows about but its actually one of the reasons why he still chooses to live so far away from everyone else in the village and Floyd and Clay are kept awake at nights just hearing him loudly screaming and shouting.

and one on occasion when they did try to wake him it resulted in Branch springing up and attacking them throwing one of them to the ground and pulling a weapon out of his Hair and nearly hitting them with it until Branch finally snapped out of it and realised where he was.

kinda helping Floyd and Clay realise for the first time how deeply affected Branch is by his past to the point he's still on such High alert even in his own home.

2. whenever Bro zone have any sort of arguments even if their not 100 percent serous and just mostly petty sibling Banter Branch still gets visibly afraid.

and nervous maybe even trying to defuse the situation but his voice and body language making it clear he's genuinely nervous which actually stops the other bros in their tracks.

and they try to reassure him the family isn't breaking up and its just normal sibling banter but regardless Branch isn't able to tell the difference between serous family shattering arguments and just normal day to day sibling banter.

so the bros try and make it more clear in the future that their just mostly joking around as opposed to seriously fighting amongst each other.

3. John Dory used to be a pretty social party animal but after spending over 20 years traveling with just Rhonda for company he's actually a pretty anti social person now.

tho he doesn't like to admit it and he tries to put on the persona of the social party animal in front of his Brothers he actually finds big crowds and meeting new people to be super stressful.

4. Bruce gained most of his extra weight in the immediate aftermath of his and JDs big fight as he stress ate for quite a while afterwards tho in present day he tries to hide this fact to avoid making JD feel bad since he can tell he's genuinely changed since then.

5. Floyd would be the one to try and encourage his Brothers to actually talk about their more negative feelings towards each other meanwhile the others just want to leave it as they are seem to be doing fine in present day.

and they don't want to bring up the uncomfortable stuff from the past again but Floyd would think its healthy that they do so.

6. if/when Branch and Poppy do get engaged each of the Bros will be excitedly waiting in anticipation to see which of them Branch picks to be his best man and Teasing each other over it.

only for Branch to shatter their Dreams when he announces that he's chosen Gary to be his best man ( this HC assumes that Gary gets added to the movie cannon at some point ).

and his bros are all weirded out and confused and some of them even think its just a Joke at first but when it becomes clear he isn't Joking.

some of them even sorta angrily confront Branch on how he could choose a friggin Remote Control over any of them only for Branch to cut the none serous casual attitude he'd had up to this point and tell them.

that yes he knows Gary is an inanimate object but he's been a more consistent comfort in his life than any of them ever have and well its his wedding so if they can't accept that then he doesn't want them there.

7. Branch would be a little bit resentful about the fact that Bruce went off and started a new family forgetting all about him while he waited for all of them to come back over the years.

he wouldn't outright tell him this due to fear of stirring the pot amongst the family when they've only just gotten things back on track.

but it'd end up coming out one way or another and Bruce would show a bit of growth and actually be understanding of why Branch would feel this way Rather than judging him for it.

meanwhile JD would would say he also felt pretty hurt by this only for Bruce to casually brush it off since he really doesn't give a crap if it hurt John's ego 😂😂😂😂
