Happy Winter Wonderklok! Today's prompt is Saran Wrap Ball, and it marks part 1 of my 'big fic' for this challenge.

Summary: Saturnalia, at its Roman height, was a festival to celebrate Saturn, the god of the harvest. After the appropriate sacrifices, celebrants partied, exchanged gifts, feasted, and made merry in hopes of a bountiful spring. Lucy may not be a farmer, but she’s in for one hell of a spring with the way this party’s going.

Soft ask: 19 with Vanessa and Lucy

This took forever, but ta da! <3

19- Write about your ship going on a casual date.

One of the many perks of touring with the most popular death metal band on the planet was being able to easily convince Charles to make sure there was time to be able to play tourist after each show. Dethklok had that kind of luxury, and with the amount of women that had rainbow hair now because of Lucy’s influence, she could blend into a crowd just by putting her hair up and adding lipstick to her makeup routine.

That was part of how Lucy and Vanessa found themselves very stoned on 6th Street in Austin at Hoeks Death Metal Pizza after a day of hitting vintage stores and going to one of Lucy's favorite spas. Vanessa happened to have a little chunk of time where Lucy could fly her out for a weekend getaway, and she had been wanting to show Vanessa some of her favorite haunts in her birth city that she was slowly but surely getting reacquainted with.

The two of them stood against the brick wall across from the counter, trying to decide on exactly what they wanted. The giant slices seemed like more of a commitment than they might have if the OG Kush hadn't set in.

"Pepperoni?" Lucy asked, desperately wanting something with meat on it.

"Mmm, maybe," Making a decision sounded like a lot to Vanessa right now.

"Steak, onion, and mushroom?" Lucy tried again.

Vanessa wrinkled her nose, "I'm feeling something more…" She trailed off looking at the different pizzas, "How about Hawaiian?"

A grin formed on Lucy's face, "That's it, that's the one."

Relief washed over Vanessa as Lucy ordered, being hungry while making a decision about food was a special level of Hell.

Lucy walked back over to Vanessa and leaned against her with an arm around her, Vanessa following suit and doing the same to Lucy.

Lucy looked up to meet Vanessa’s eyes, “Don’t you usually hate pineapple on pizza?”

Vanessa smirked at her, “I have to be in a certain mood for it.”

What's an insecurity they hold about their relationship?

So this insecurity goes for both, actually! Despite there not being that much of an age gap (I think 5-6 years for both?), Jimi feels much older than they are and fears they're too old and boring and not as mature or settled as they should be. Like they should have more to offer to their partner.

And especially on the boring part, Olive and Nessa are much more sexually adventurous and experienced than Jimi, so that's another aspect where they feel they can't provide and someone else would be preferable.

It took a while with work and my just buckling down to make this post. Thank you so much for working with me on this outfit design for Vanessa!

The play-by-play for each outfit, two of them are for season 2 of MTL:

    Season 1: Nessa’s first job at the Waffle House after moving to Atlanta

    Season 2: After a shorter haircut and a few more years in Atlanta, living in an older apartment and saving what she can to hopefully attend graduate school to advance her psychology degree. She meets Vama one day at work and they form a friendship from there.

     Mid-Season 2: She gets a job as a dominatrix at the Land of Milk and Honey from Vama’s card. After paid training, coming up with a code name, style of domming, and finding her uniform she works her up the ranks to become one of the top three dommes with Tasha and Vama.

The clientele of TLOMAH are wealthy VIP customers like company executives, celebrities, socialites, moguls, and more. She eventually earns enough to attend graduate school and purchase a three-bedroom high rise in the city.

    Season 3: Nessa’s changed up her wardrobe and added some meaningful tattoos. Her little sister, Tina, comes to live with her around this point and Vanessa goes on a blind date with Toki in “Fertility”.

     Season 4: Longer braids and more blue to her wardrobe. She’s more relaxed around this time and dresses a little more carefree. At least until shit hits the fan when season 4 builds up, namely before “Pranklok”.

Right: Like a nature documentary, a wild Karen appears in her natural habitat. Berating an employee for something way beyond their job description and pay grade. They can see that the employee has been crying and there's no supervisor around. Would your OC step in and put Karen in her place? Would they find someone who works there and reports the incident? There is the risk of the Karen redirecting her anger to your OC making escape even more difficult.

Vanessa: Yes, she would intervene and see no problem with getting in that ass on the worker's behalf. If they redirect their anger on to her, so be it.

Karen can get her ass reamed out by her AND the person she reports to.

Tina: Yes and yes! She'll throw in some jabs for good measure because bitch, if you're going to make someone cry she'll send you off matching with them.

She'll also buy what their selling to make them feel better, even if she didn't like the perfume.

Tasha: She would intervene before the tears would start and be EXTRA bitchy with the Karen. Not on her watch.

Vama: Will intervene and have store management right by her side when it happens. She'll be a lot calmer and just hit the Karen with existential questions that'll make her stop.

"Do you feel stronger? Do you feel smarter than the person trying to sell you this product? I can't imagine feeling great by overpowering someone I see as weaker than me."
