He felt a tug at his sleeve and when he looked down Daniel was greeted with Aiden's puppy dog eyes. It was just Aiden's fifth birthday and so he has been spending most of the day playing with his new toys, so Daniel was surprised to see Aiden out of his room. In one hand he saw Aiden had an empty mug and chuckled softly.

They two of them have gotten into the habit of Aiden come to his dad with a mug and Daniel would make him a cup of hot chocolate. His wife has told him off saying that it's too much sugar for such a small boy, but who could say no when Aiden give you those eyes.

During the process of making the hot chocolate the small boy followed the adult bouncing from foot to foot in excitement. Once Daniel handed the mug he expected Aiden to go back to his room, but Aiden's smaller hand reached for Dan's as he started to try and drag him somewhere.

He allowed himself to be pulled along and was brought to the couch, which Aiden had to jumped to get onto. "Do you want to watch something?" Daniel asked trying to find out what Aiden wanted to do, the boy answered with an excited nod.

Aiden didn't like to speak, he decided to just ask for something or answer in quick, short motion. So they all learnt how Aiden communicated to make him comfortable and happy.

He handed Aiden the remote control so he could chose whatever movie or show he wanted to watch. Sure, maybe Daniel had work to do and files to fill out, but they could wait. Nothing is more important to him than his son.

Okay, but I feel like dumb, protective caretakers are super underrated. Like, whumpee gets the flu so they google the symptoms, panic, and run to the store like "I didn't know what to do so I just bought everything." They go out with whumpee and notice them shivering, but the only thing they have in their car is an old towel so they just wrap whumpee up like a burrito and hug them. Yes, they were wearing an extra jacket that they forgot about the whole time. Idk if I explained right, but yeah.

Ooooh! You explained it just right. I love it enough to make protective caretakers (even whumpers) a huge part of the content.

-But to add a little extra, panicked caretakers who slam the car breaks to pull over and tighten their seatbelt, bundle them up, or just hold them if they suddenly burst into tears after getting lost in thought.

I agree with yandere hawks having wings is instant bad news, so I'm actually curious about your thoughts on the current hawks with his prosthetic wings in the manga would be yandere! I just think that hawks has been a lot more serious, lucid, and calm lately with hisself and hero image in the manga and I just can't wait to see yandere writers pick this up!! We've always known peak hero golden boy heartthrob yandere hawks, so i'd love to see what your thoughts are o3o

Oh God see now that's even worse. I feel like he'd drop the nice guy act and be straightforward about what he wants, telling you that there will be severe consequences if you try to leave him, that he's lost too much to let you go. It's almost a complete 180, but it's understandable after all that he's been through.

Hawks may still pretend he isn't watching your every move, but you always can feel his eyes burning into you. If you even glance at the door he's grabbing you and pulling you into the bedroom. He's no longer playful, teasing you about how to only look at him. No, now he demands it.

And he has an even bigger advantage with his prosthetic wings. With his regular ones, you'd at least have a slightly bigger chance of escaping than when he's on bed rest healing. Although you were always screwed when his wings grew back.

Now there's no chance, and because of how cold and serious he's gotten, you don't want to risk it either.
