Connecting people indeed. It was fun watching the kids race in and around the installation, delighted with the bright colours and lights of the latest art installation at @malayheritage Rainbow Connection II 🌈 Best view after sunset, the solar powers up when it gets dark. Last days. Ending soon. Rainbow Connection II Venue: Malay Heritage Centre Fountain Date: 29 April to 29 May 2022 (Tuesdays to Sundays, closed on Mondays) Time: 10am to 9pm Admission is free. "Co-created by local artist Lee Yun Qin and underserved communities, the outdoor installation comprises a total of 500 suspended solar light modules made from upcycled cookie containers and solar lights. Last days to enjoy this huge patch of greenery and decades old trees along Kallang. Quite a number of showhouses have been built on fields that used to house herons, egrets, bitterns and all kinds of birds. The green patches and these trees will soon be the made-over Kampong Bugis district. In the next decade, the precinct will be redeveloped into a car-lite, waterfront district with about 4,000 new private residential units.
