💖 Your gentle reminder not to repost gifs 💖
💖 And if you absolutely must, saying "not my gif" isn't proper credit 💖
💖 Asking for permission before using a gif for a fic or a post is a thing, you should totally do it more 💖
💖 Respect a giffer who doesn't want their stuff reposted. 💖
💖 Respect boundaries. 💖
💖 Or use the tumblr editor's gif function, because as much of a pain as it is, it links to the original poster 💖
💖 Frankly, I get happy when someone uses a gif of mine through the editor and I see the mention. But when it's reposted without credit, not so much. 💖
💖 If you're going to repost a gif, know who made it and link to their post so that those who see it go support them for their effort 💖
💖 But it's much easier to just not repost gifs 💖
💖 And please don't reblog posts with reposted uncredited gifs. Support the person who created, not the person who reposted. 💖
💜 And dear fellow gif makers, I encourage you to not be afraid of watermarking your creations 💜
💜 If the people who consume our content for free are going to keep viewing us like machines then they could at least know our handles 💜

Every single one of those posts that tells people they should at least reblog some of the stuff they like has the replies FILLED with people saying that you can't tell anyone what to do and like. yeah i guess there's always been lurkers on here but like. you realize the people saying this are doing it because they love the culture on this site and don't want to see it taken over by people who refuse to engage with content in a meaningful way.
you don't have to reblog every single thing you like (and hell since reblogs are now something that can be turned off, sometimes you cant) but like. you should reblog some things. whether its memes or fanart or fanfic or informational posts or whatever. you could also try to start a gimmick blog that posts a specific type of content and you can utilize the tags to get out there since plenty of people do check general tags on this site. you can also have side blogs if you want! which can be themed around specific things! this is also a super common thing!
you're new here so you're still feeling things out and trying to get your foot in the door so just start reblogging content and following people. i know some of you are looking to gain a big following really quickly but tbh growth on this site is incredibly slow so you have to be patient and you have to put in the effort to get real people interested in following you, and your reblogs can say a lot about you

I just want to drop this here. Here are most of the pokemon teams ive drafted up until now, with some being left out bc of the image limit.
2022: Genshin Impact, 50 teams (most recent, and most incomplete)
2021: Ace Attorney, 56 teams (excluding 13 that didnt fit in screenshots)
2020: A3!, 35 teams (excluding 11 that didnt fit in screenshots)
Total: 160+ teams
If anyone is actually interested in this lmk, i could use the motivation. I used to edit the teams together (some pokemon are more massive then you'd think) and posted some up in the past, at least for a3! and some ace attorney which can be found in my tags. Most of my effort went into a3! since i even considered pokeball, gender, moveset, and even the timeline of when they were obtained and evolved. Oh and a lot of headcanons. I really want to get back into these...
Btw, pokemon that are put into a second box next to a character are just pokemon i was considering but not part final team. The only one where color coding means anything is for ace attorney where green means im satisfied and other colors means im unsure or struggling. For a3!, its mostly the character's official associated color.

Let us suppose that the "average" horse would have equal proportions of all these parts. The degree to which each part in this poll deviates from the "average" size (20% of total) will determine how large or small that part of our horse will be (i.e a horse with only 10% in Legs will have legs half the size of the average horse).
I will draw a picture of the horse we make!
