Yasuhiro Hagakure x Aoi Asahina - Danganronpa

I can't wait for you all to come for me with this one..

Similar to my reasons behind Reiner x Historia pairing, I am mainly doing this for my baby boy, Hiro. Much like Historia and Ymir, Hina very clearly had a close relationship with Sakura (although not as blatantly romantic), so this is essentially a reconciliation prize due to both their lady loves taking that permanent nap.

I enjoy Hina and Hiro's interactions throughout the game; they're both your classic 'dumb characters' so its always fun when they interact with one another. Again, the idiots in love trope got me good.

Speaking of tropes... Hina is brave and Hiro has more cowardly tendancies (although he's trying). I love whenever this trope is reversed with the woman being the courageous one - sue me. BONUS TROPE: the stoner and the athlete - ugh <3

This pairing relies a lot on my headcannons about what their relationship would be like working together at the Future Foundation. We saw towards the end of the first game that Hiro was marginally more mature when it came to new ways of thinking, and I believe that Hina is a good person to continue to bring that out of him.

All the Danganronpa characters I can remember as animal crossing animals bc I have nothing better to do and I'm defo not procrastinating on writing the next chapter for the SU story.

Makoto Naegi: Lazy Dog, because he is basic. Sayaka Maizono: Peppy Squirrel, because also basic. Leon Kuwata: Jock Lion, tries so hard to be smug. Chihiro Fujisaki: Lazy Mouse, because small. Mondo Owada: Cranky Tiger, big cranky man. Kiyotaka Ishimaru: I'm totally thinking Cranky Horse, but it's obvious he's meant to be a zebra. Hifumi Yamada: Lazy Anteater. I struggled HARD with this one, because nothing really fit him at all. Celestia Ludenberg: Snooty defo, and she was also defo a cat, rabbit, wolf, or deer. So, I decided on Snooty cat. Sakura Oogami: Absolutely Sisterly Bear, but again, it's obvious she's supposed to be a Polar Bear. Aoi Asahina: Peppy Dog or Deer Kyoko Kirigiri: Normal/Snooty cat/wolf Byakuya Togami: ABSOLUTELY SMUG AF, and a cat. Yasuhiro Hagakure: Lazy sheep 100% Toko Fukawa: Snooty goat. Why goat? Hajime Hinata: Lazy Wolf becuase basic. Izuru Kamakura: Cranky Wolf, because cooler basic Byakuya Twogami: Cranky Cat because I totally believe he's more cranky than actual Togami. Teruteru Hanamura: Smug Pig.. He's fucking Chops. Mahiru Koizumi: Peppy Squirrel or Rabbit mostly because I entirely believe that she's a little on the shorter side. I've actually already posted a few of my own personal headcanons on this blog! Most of them center around Danganronpa because that's currently my special interest. My big three are Kiyotaka Ishimaru using a power wheelchair, Korekiyo Shinguuji using smart crutches (or a similar style of forearm crutch, brand doesn't matter), and Yasuhiro Hagakure using a cane! Danganronpa THH on a road trip

For context, I'm putting them on a tour bus pretty much.

Makoto: Chill, but unorganized. Brings snacks for everyone, but severely miscalculates how many snacks a group of teens can eat.

Kirigiri: In charge of the schedule, but not in charge of leading everyone because she runs off. She'll find the best hotel at the cheapest price, but don't expect her to tell you until you're already in the room.

Togami: Absolute prick the whole time, but is heavily enjoying himself. He's not allowed to drive because he's a spoiled rich kid who doesn't know how, so he sits in the second row of seats with Makoto.

Taka: Leads the group, takes them from place to place. He gives directions, because he would get too excited if he was driving. Sits shotgun for the most part, but sometimes goes to the back.

Mondo: Has the most driving experience, so he drives at night when everyone else is tired, but he's not allowed to drive during the day because he's a night owl, and grumpy because sleepy + road rage? Bad mix. When he isn't doing night driving, he sits pretty far in the back with Chihiro where they group cuddle.

Chihiro: Handles all the tech, including the aux/bluetooth. Set up one of those in flight tvs but for the bus, so everyone can watch movies and play switch or PlayStation or Xbox if they want. Mainly sits on the back with Mondo unless needed for tech support elsewhere.

Celestia: Sits in the center area, she just took the seat that leans the farthest back for naps. Mondo keeps managing to convince her to join the snuggle pile somehow tho, and she ends up doing her skin care, getting into her pajamas, putting on Ocean's 8 and falling asleep on Mondo's chest.

Sakura: Sits in the WAYYYY back with Aoi. The back has the most room and she's the tallest, so she stays back there. She keeps most of the sleep stuff with her, as well as all the chargers and shit, if not for her, none of their phones would have survived.

Aoi: Moves between the back and the middle. Avid cuddler, switching between the cuddle pile and just curling up with Sakura. Likes to socialize, especially with Celestia. Likes to come up and chat with Taka.

Toko: Does not like the cuddle pile, but still sits near everyone in the back half. Sakura keeps all her books snug in the mini shelf they installed, where she had a fold out desk to write at.

Hifumi: Sits towards the front, but goes to the back for movies/gaming. He likes to talk to Taka about directions, or discuss what's on the radio. Everyone was surprised that he actually has a huge interest in radio hosting and it's one of his favorite things to talk about.

Leon: Fucking LOVES the cuddle pile, and sits basically on Mondo's lap the entire time because Mondo stole the seat with the best view of the TV. All he wants to do is play Super Smash Bros, even if that means smashing Mondo into the couch in order to play. Also loved doing skin care with Celestia

Sayaka: Fucking BANGER at rhythm games, is the reason Leon only plays smash the majority of the trip (whooped his ass at Ghost Rule too many times for him to challenge her again.) Loves to sit and talk with Chihiro from the front about music, started making a hyper pop song with him.

Yasuhiro: My boy sits in the trunk because he CAN. It's not actually a trunk, but it's the stuff section. He chills back there with a mini fridge, the ultimate snack dealer. It also has the biggest window if he wants to smoke.

Danganronpa 1 boys with a s/o in a coma (spoilers for chapter 2)

I’m sorry this took so long. I planned to finish this on Tuesday but school and other stuff got in the way… please enjoy. (Featuring makoto togami yasuhiro hifumi and chihiro)

Makoto

He remembers everything the hour before it happened.

He texted his s/o asking if they wanted to go get ice cream with him.

He remembered waiting and deciding to grab a bowl of sugary cereal.

Then his phone rang three times and he got the news his beloved s/o was in a coma.

He remembers how he had trouble with opening the car at first. He struggled with the keys then drove as fast as he could to the hospital

I know it seems stupid… remembering the moment before he saw his s/o in a coma the most…. But those boring moments, the calm before the storm are always the moments he remembers the most.

He spends every moment he can with his sleeping beauty.

He would sit there, hold there hand and tell them how his day was… he would tell them how much s/o’s friends miss them.

And when they wake up… he breaks down crying telling them how much they miss him… the poor boy will never forget the moment they woke up…

Togami

If someone you loved went in a coma tomorrow what would you do to save them?

A better question would be what could you do to save them?

The answer is most likely nothing.

But not for the man togami. He refuses to let his s/o die and he has the resources to stop it… or at least he hopes

Money, money can cure anything right…? He pays for every single treatment the hospital can muster. If there’s medical research going on he’ll sink his money into that too.

He’s worried sick. He barely sleeps… he trembles at night. The few times he does sleep he normally gets nightmares. It’s rare for him to get a good night sleep.

When his s/o wakes up he’s truthfully not there. He’s sinking money into research. Once he gets the call they woke up he drives to the hospital as fast as he can

He acts like he was more annoyed by the coma but once his s/o knows what he went through. What he did… they give him a big hug and pamper him beyond belief.

Despite his s/o being ok he still uses his money to help with medical research…

Hifumi

He can’t do anything right…. So what’s the point in trying… he needs to write… his fan depends on him… he needs to write more…

He turns out work after work after work… but despite his fans living it he hates what he’s turning out.

He doesn’t have the energy to make work he likes anymore… he feels like he’s letting them down

Eventually he breaks down and he posts how he feels to his fans. And the good thing is most understand and say kind words.

Some are mean ofcourse but most are so understanding… he decides to take a break from writing and try some new coping skills…

When his s/o wakes up he ugly cries while his s/o comforts them

He slowly starts writing again… and he’s starts liking what he writes again

Yasuhiro

Most people don’t know this about yasuhiro… he has a fear of failure… he keeps it hidden from his friends for the most part…

When his s/o is in a coma he’s living out a nightmare… he failed to protect them… or at least that’s what he thinks…

He can’t even pay for there hospital bills…. He even failed at that…

He becomes consumed by self hatred… he keeps fortune telling… but only because it makes him small amounts of money… he doesn’t care anymore…

He only really leaves his house to fortune tell… his friends only talk to him via text anymore…

His friends try to encourage him to leave the house… but he can’t bring himself too… he’s so tired… so tired

When there s/o wakes up he feels relief… but he still has his self hatred… with his s/o’s pleading he agrees to see a therapist to make them happy….

Chihiro

Coping… that’s what people do after something like this right? Whatever there coping method be good or bad… that’s normally what people do…

But chihiro doesn’t know how to cope with this… how can they cope with news like this…

They try coding but it doesn’t distract them… he tries techniques online but they don’t seem to work… he just doesn’t know what to do…

He spends time with mondo and taka a lot more… it makes him happy a little… but he still feels so lost…

He doesn’t cry at first when seeing his s/o in a coma… he’s in shock… he can’t believe it… then he goes home and sees the card he got s/o for there first Valentine’s Day… and then it all sinks in

And he breaks down crying

When they wake up he hugs them tightly for a long time… as if they will disappear if he lets go…

How would the Trigger Happy Havoc cast react to snow?

Makoto Naegi; He will be forced to have a snowball fight outside with his sister, Komaru, and then he will invite everyone else to fight in the snow.

Kyoko Kirigiri; She dosen't care for it. But it does not bug her.

Byakuya Togami; He will pay the sky to stop snowing and for it to stop being cold.

Toko Fukawa; She thinks it is pretty for about five seconds before she is freezing and hates it.

Aoi Asahina; She hates the cold and will suffer every second there is snow

Sakura Ogami; she likes to watch the snow fall and meditate. It is very peaceful for her

Yasuhiro Hagakure; He is very indifferent to it, but he will make the occasional small snowman

Kiyotaka Ishimaru; he loves watching it and will be outside building a snowman

Mondo Owada; He can't ride the bike in the snow and it annoys him greatly. He will literally find out where it's not snowing to ride his bike

Chihiro Fujisaki; He loves that warm cup of coco by the computer programming. Helps him think

Celestia Ludenberg; Like Togami, she will challenge the sky at poker to stop snowing. She hates how cold it gets

Hifumi Yamada; If you thought he didn't leave his room enough you notice now. You can feel the heat waves coming from the door. He hates the cold

Leon Kuwata; He likes to watch it fall and see the kids playing in it. He was the same way the kids were; excited for snow

Sayaka Maizono; She hates how red it makes her face and will refuse to go out sometimes because of that

Junko Enoshima; She loves some of the winter themed clothing and photo shoots. Winter is her favorite

Monokuma; It gets his fur wet so he plans to kill all of it

Makoto Naegi ; Makoto’s straight, but has definitely done gay shit before. The epitome of “ Wow, it’s gay to kiss the homies goodnight ?? 🤔 “

Byakuya Togami ; Definitely straight, I feel like his family’s homophobic too, but I do believe that Byakuya himself doesn’t generally care if someone’s LGBTQ+ or not, they’re all beneath him. 💅🏻

Yasuhiro Hagakure ; Hiro definitely seems down for whatever, so I don’t see him really labeling himself, but this is a labels list, so I’m gonna go with queer. 💕

Kiyotaka Ishimaru ; I think we’re all in agreement that we don’t trust anyone that doesn’t ship IshiMondo. Taka is gay, but hasn’t figured it out yet. 💃🏻

Mondo Owada ; On the other hand, Mondo has definitely figured out that he’s gay and is experiencing lots of internalized homophobia, which is why he acts so aggressively masculine. 🥂

Hifumi Yamada ; Straight, but definitely has warped standards due to anime - although I think he would absolutely be a sweetheart in a relationship and y’all are sleeping on him because he’s not a hot anime boy with pretty eyes and shredded abs. 🥂

Leon Kuwata ; Bi with a femme lean, but also hasn’t figured it out yet. I have a feeling that it wouldn’t be a big deal to him once he did figure it out. It’s whatever, men pretty, girls pretty. 💕

Kyoko Kirigiri ; Also probably straight, but she does not have time for a relationship, she is a strong, independent woman that don’t need a partner. She definitely thinks a romantic partner would just be getting in the way of her living her life. 🥂

Aoi Asahina ; I know everyone loves the idea of Lesbian! Hina, but I see her being bi with a femme lean. She has lots of problems with romance and relationships, and it’s canon that she has problems with her femininity. She definitely thinks girls are gorgeous, absolutely for sure, but it did come as a shock when she found that she thought boys were attractive too. 👀

Sakura Ogami ; Also Bi with no lean !! I think Sakura could go either way, and wouldn’t mind. I feel like her issues lie more with men either fetishizing her ( “ big strong lady that can squish me between her thighs makes me go Awooga “ ) or finding her too intimidating because of fragile masculinity. She just wants to be loved in the relationship, not seen as “big hot Amazon girlfriend”, not as competition to make you more manly, just Sakura. 💕

Chihiro Fujisaki ; Yeah, I’m grouping her down here with the girls because this is a TransFemme! Chihiro support blog, but Chihiro is definitely somewhere on the aro and ace spectrum. Like Kyoko, I don’t see Chihiro finding importance in romantic relationships, she just doesn’t seem like the type that would, but I see her loving her friends and finding a lot of meaning in platonic friendships. 💕

Toko Fukawa / Genocide Jack / Genocide Jill / Genocider Syo ; Now Toko is definitely either a lesbian experiencing comphet with Byakuya or bi. While I can totally see her as both, I really like the idea of comphet lesbian Toko, because I feel like her relationship / crush towards Byakuya is her processing her trauma through liking someone who treats her awfully, since that’s how she was raised, in a house of abuse.

Celestia Lundenberg ; Yet another homosexual. Yes, she’s the only one I perceive as a lesbian out of all of them, and I don’t think she’s incredibly open about it. She doesn’t feel as if it’s an important part of her identity, or at least, doesn’t attempt to make it her entire identity. ✨

Sayaka Maizono ; She’s straight, and I feel like she kind of has lots of regular straight girl tastes that make everyone else around her just “ 🙄🙄🙄 girl, you’re basic “. Very vanilla.

Mukuro Ikusaba ; Straight, but I see her, like Hina, having lots of problems with femininity / femme beauty standards. She’s the kind of girl that feels like she has to put on her female costume every morning, even though she’d much rather wear pants / more masc clothes. Tomboy energy. 💃🏻

Junko Enoshima ; Murder. /J !! But if we gotta put a label on her, she’s AroAce, but I definitely see her putting herself into relationships, especially toxic ones, running herself through the gutter and throwing herself into hurricanes just to make herself feel despair. 👀

• The day you showed up a Hiroko's place was a depressing one to say the least. You had been friend's with Yasuhiro for a while, and after the death of your parents, you had no where to go. So you showed up at his house, knocking on the door with tears streaming down your face.

• Hiroko took you in and held you for a little while, letting you cry violently into her. Yasuhiro helped as well, but he wasn't a motherly figure.

• She became your legal guardian quickly and you warmed up to her. She was out quite a lot during the day, coming in about 6 pm every night. She had to keep a roof over your heads, you deserved only the best, after all.

• When she was there, she would always hang out with you two. She was the cool mom, always cracking jokes that other people would probably smack you for hearing. She would always laugh so loud while doing so, a bright smile on her face.

• She usually brings food home from some fast food place after work, but when she cooks, it's heaven!! She's so good at it, and you constantly ask for her to do more. She just ruffles your hair and says maybe.

• If you ever have problems with your school work, she'll certainly try her best. She did have Yasuhiro at 14, so her school life after that was pretty out of wack. She'll try her best, though!! If she doesn't understand, she'll look up a video on how to do it and hope for the best.

• Relationship problems? Hiroko is all over it. She'll sit you down and let you rant to her, hugging you carefully. She'll give you some advice, and she'll encourage you. After her talks, you'd never let a man/woman/person take advantage of you like that again.

• She's not too strict, letting you and Yasuhiro do whatever you wanted. Parties? Sure, just don't let it get too bad. Boys/Girls/People over? Of course, just don't do anything too bad. Curfew? Who's she?

• She may be the stereotypical "cool mom", but she truly cares for you. If you ever have any problems, she'll be there to help you. She thinks of you as her child, and she would never think otherwise. 💕

Byakuya:

-Everything in his world is so cutthroat and stressful, so he has a lot of pent up emotions. It would take him a while to truly open up to you.

-Though, he realizes through your abilities that it's okay to let it out, albeit slowly. With you, he feels like it's natural.

-You're so sweet to him that it drives him crazy initially. I mean, why would anyone act like that? He worried that maybe you were just interested in his status, but after a while it was clear that wasn't it.

-The surprised expression on his face when you do any small act of kindness for him speaks volumes. One day, he actually teared up (and then tried to hide it). He slowly embraced you, and in a whisper, he thanked you for everything you've done for him.

- "Listen, s/o. I know I don't tell you this enough, but you truly are something special. Saying thank you isn't enough to describe how grateful I am to have you in my life."

Toko:

-She is incredibly suspicious of you, when you first meet. How could anyone be this nice and accommodating to her of all people?

-Toko has to admit though, having you in her life is a blessing. For once, she feels appreciated and not looked down upon.

-Her self-hatred is a tough issue to deal with. But with your constant affirmation, compliments, and love, she begins to see her worth.

-Having a reliable presence in her life means a lot. Even just coming home to dinner on the table shows her you care, and your compassion finds it's way into her writing: lots of healthy, joyful love interests.

- "D-darling, I know I'm not always the easiest girl to be with, but... thank you, for everything. You make me feel like I'm important-- like I'm worth fighting for. For that, I'd give you the world."

Yasuhiro:

-This poor guy. He wasn't sure if you were joking with him when you asked him out! Unfortunately, someone had played that prank on him before.

-Your help was much-needed. Hiro's room was a mess, he barely knew how to cook, and did his laundry once in a blue moon before you came along. He constantly thanks you for being a lifesaver.

-He doesn't think very highly of himself compared to the other members of class 78, because he doesn't think he's as sharp or influential. However, you convince him he's just as special as they are, which gives him renewed confidence.

-You help him get his name out there for his fortune telling, and it's so wonderful seeing him grow and mature. Eventually he becomes a well-known clairvoyant, thanks to you being at his side!

- "Hey babe. I just wanted you to know I love you, so so much. Like, more than anyone! You've helped me get my life together, and our whole journey has been amazing. Thanks for sticking with me this long!"

Alrighty, my first ask!!

Yasuhiro Hagakure

- Is very skilled at treating minor injuries from watching his mother work as a nurse

- Is really acrobatic and flexible (He almost gave Sakura a heart attack after she walked in to him being all pretzel’d up)

- Uses the ‘He Knows’ meme in reference to himself WAAAY too much

- He is actually really good with children. Most of the class was surprised when he was the one able to calm a screaming baby just by holding it.

- knows how to crochet (really mundanely, but sometimes adds patterns to his friends clothes for the heck of it)

- Doesn’t do drugs, but treats anything like drugs to mess with his friends. “Hey bro wanna smoke a weed”

Gundam Tanaka

- He is the one responsible for this meme

- Has been referred to by his class as the ‘Serial Animal Adopter Man’ (no he is not happy that is his dark powers leaking shut up)

- Really self conscious about his own cooking, but tears up whenever anyone home cooks him food

- ‘Infinity Unlimited Flame’ is seen by the class as a power move, so whenever in an argument they just shout “inFINITY UNLIMITED-” before laughing. Gundam will not admit how happy he is.

- Unironically likes Crocs, but only those specifically and anatomically correct in the crocodile design. “Gundam you wanted these right?” “hinata how could yOU THE SNOUT IS INCORRECTLY SHAPED THAT IS AN ALLIGA-” “Gundam please”

- Is watched by Hopes Peak because they fear that he may be the only one able to tame Godzilla (No seriously just like with the giant dog during Despair Arc, there was later an incident where a giant lizard was created, dubbed Godzilla, and later tamed by him before he decided at that moment that wow i can actually take over the world this time” Sonia calmed him down though

- Considers Souda his friend, and was sad for a while when Souda was being a butt about the whole thing. (Souda realized and they became friends later and wow i cant believe they’re boyfriends)

Kaito Momota

- Can and Will chug a bottle of apple juice and claim that it’s beer

- Got really angry at Nicki Minaj when ‘Star ships’ came out because of scientific inaccuracy. “ARE YOU FUCKING WITH ME STAR SHIPS DON’T FLY THEY PROPEL ACROSS SPACE SPACE DOESN’T HAVE ANY SORT OF FORCE WHERE LIFT IS REQUIRED ONLY PROPULSION-”

- Is actually really smart in general when it comes to science, but lacks the common sense to apply it outside of his field. “Man, this substance works incredible as a conductor!” “What, for batteries?” “More like siCK ASS ROCKET BOOSTERS!”

- He and Kirigiri are siblings you will never take this away from me

- I actually have this really big AU where Kaito was estranged from the Kirigiri family because he wasn’t ‘fit’ enough to be a detective (had a horrible cardiac disease that could kill him at any second hmm that sounds familiar), so he comes back later to Hopes Peak, finds his family, and is just so happy to see his sister and dad again

- “Ouma, you ain’t fuckin’ that robot, because I AM!!!”
