But Omori (without spoilers) is basically a horror rpg that at first may seem light hearted and kind of pokemon-esk but very quickly shit goes down-

I can’t say much without spoliers but I’ll give the basics

There’s headspace (which is Omori and the gang but younger and all friends) and IRL where reality ain’t so fun (but Kel honestly makes it fun)

And in general Omori kind of cycles between the light hearted headspace, to cruel reality IRL, and sometimes you get shoved into white space (which is where Omori often goes to and I like to call it his damnation)

The headspace has mostly innocent boss battles but with the occasional slap in the face that something isn’t right, and IRL usually always confirms it by making you remember thay Sunny isn’t really okay-

Also Omori and Sunny are the same person qjejwk I just wanted to mention that- /lh

It does have psychological horror and is genuinely upsetting at times so I would say play this when you’re mentally okay (I made the mistake of not and now I’m suffering /hj), but trust me the game is very good story wise! /gen
