notes. writing the prompt “love potion” for my own event despite it having been closed for a month LMAO i just need an excuse to write something… anyways uh pls pretend i’m not writing xiao when i said i wouldn’t in a while 🫣 i have a wip for tighnari otw i promise !!!

xiao has never been interested in mortal celebrations. but after meeting you, he can’t help but want to learn more about them. “would you… want to come to the lantern rite with me?”

you were pleasantly surprised when he asked; glad to see that the yaksha was finally coming out of his shell. you laughed, took his hand (which prompted a blushing mess out of him), and led him down to the harbor, where the festivities were already starting.

figuring he still wasn’t too comfortable being around large crowds of mortals, you took him to a secluded spot on a hill by the pavilion, close enough so that you could still see the lanterns that lit up the sky.

“they’re beautiful, aren’t they?” you ask him, following his eyes as he stared at tiny glowing dots fading in the night. xiao nods slowly, seemingly mesmerized by the sight. you smile softly, leaning your head on his shoulder as the two of you watch the fireworks show that followed.

dan heng, being a bit of a bookworm, was a little… socially awkward, to say the least. luckily, you found his quirks entertaining. “there’s a new bookstore that opened across the street… would you be interested?”

so one tuesday afternoon, you meet him by the park, where he stood with a bouquet of flowers in his hands. you giggle when he awkwardly offers them to you. “of course, why else would you have bought them for?”

making you way to the bookstore, dan heng watches as you stroll down the aisles, picking out some you wanted. he felt his heart swell as he spies his favorite novel in your hand. “i didn’t know you liked that book too…”

the two of you end up spending the rest of the afternoon in the cafe next door, chatting about your favorite books over coffee. he smiles, maybe being a geek isn’t a such bad thing after all.

zoro never quite wanted to leave the sunny when the crew docked on a new island; he preferred to stay behind and take a nap, or train. but you always encouraged him to come along, and he finally decided to go along with it. “i’m gonna go explore… if ‘ya wanna come with.”

there happened to be a small crafts market in the town nearby, so you and zoro (mostly just you) went admiring the handicrafts the stalls had on display. "aww, how lovely!" you admire a little clockwork deer that reminded you a bit of chopper.

then you realized you had some business to attend to in town, so you left zoro behind for a few minutes, saying, "don't you dare get lost while i'm gone!" he stands there awkwardly, before glancing back at the crafts stall. while i'm here...

...and then of course you happen to accidentally encounter the marines, causing you to have to run back to the ship with zoro in tow. when you're finally safe in the crow's nest of the sunny, however... he presented you with the mechanical deer toy from earlier, to your joy. "i don't have that many berries but.. i know you wanted it, so i guess i'll just have to pay nami back later."

“They have been laughing for the past hour. Do you have a three?”

“No, go fish, Nami. I believe they said they had something funny they wanted to share; we are still waiting,” Robin piped in, glancing from the sniper to the navigator sitting in front of her, a stack of cards similar to hers in her hands

“Come on, get a grip, kid; you interrupted my nap for this,” Zoro grumbled, tired of the constant laughing

“Shishishi”

“And why are you laughing?!” Chopper screamed, looking at Luffy

“They haven’t even said the joke!”

“It’s funny! Shizhishi”

“W-Why Why did the skeleton not go to the ball?”

“Yohohoho, what’s this? Skeleton jokes! I have taught you well! Why?”

“Cause he had nobody to go with!” They cackled, falling into another session of giggles

“A-Ah Nami? What are you doing? Why are you grabbing your staff? Nami?”

shhhhh or napping with zoro & ace

warnings: self indulgent: i wish to nap with these two, self projecting: i have hypersomnia & narcolepsy </3, nothing aside from that just pure fluff

if zoro wants to nap with you, good luck lmao. you are not getting out of this. he’s all but dragging you to his favorite spot on the sunny and holding you real tight. he’ll keep repeating that there’s nothing you can do to wake him up. that he won’t budge. just ask sanji to cook some meat and he’s alive again. but besides that,, he doesn’t snore that often but when he does it’s loud. like really loud. wake you up loud. definitely a cuddler but he won’t admit it, if he does it blames it on his protective nature. holds you very close, like he’s going to lose you if he doesn’t. but a kiss on the cheek has his relaxing just a bit. wakes up grumpy but once again relaxes with a kiss on the cheek. if you manage to fall asleep and stay asleep when he wakes up he’ll just sit there starring lovingly. until he sees usopp gushing about how cute you look, then he’s back to his typical cold face. 10/10 would nap again.

ace never intends to nap with you. it just happens. one minute he’s up drinking arms around your waist and the next his head is on your shoulder and he’s passed out. normally you can just shake him awake but sometimes he really does need the rest so you lead him to the nearest bed (or chair) to take a few. he’s not letting go of you though, his arms are firm in place and ultimately are dragging you down with him. sometimes you have to wonder if he’s actually asleep because of the smirk on his face when you cuddle up to him accepting your fate. marco and deuce will ultimately have to be the ones to wake the two of you up when your presence is needed somewhere on the ship. but rest assured he’ll be out again in a few hours and you’ll be dragging him back.

- the soft flesh that cushioned his head was absolutely perfect, so much so that he wrapped his bulky arms around your torso as if telling you not to leave

- you both stayed there for the rest of the day while Zoro took the best nap of his life in your lap 💜

Zosan haircut time!!!!

had to write this after getting the idea from my last post lmao. I love the idea of Sanji being like "ugh you look fucking terrible" and then forcing Zoro to take care of himself. they're so stupid and gay and in love omg. beginning part is mostly Zoro and Nami but that's ok because they're wlw/mlm solidarity always!!!!

More than anything, Zoro loves sunbathing on the Sunny's deck. Something about the warm light makes him want to melt into the wood. However, Zoro finds it very hard to enjoy the sun when it is boiling outside, and he swears he can hear his sweat sizzle when it meets the wooden flooring.

"We're going through a summer climate, just wait it out." Nami sips on her martini, laid out on a lounge chair and taking cover under an umbrella.

"Easy for you to say, you witch. You stole all the shade." While Nami's basking in the shadow of her parasol, Zoro's sprawled out on deck, sweating his fucking balls off. His whole body is damp, and he's stripped down into just a pair of loose shorts to cool off.

"Go hang out with your boyfriend in the kitchen," She says.

"He's not my boyfriend. I fucking hate you."

"The feeling's mutual, you sweaty loser."

Zoro groans, peeling himself off of the floor to sit up and comb his fingers through his shaggy hair. It's too long to stay out of the way, and it's uncomfortably wet where it sticks to his forehead. Zoro would tie it back, but it's too short for that. In short, he is suffering.

"I'm gonna die from heatstroke because of you," Zoro shakes the excess moisture from his hands.

Nami scoffs. "Stop whining, hop in the sea or something."

Zoro briefly considers this, but decides that's more effort than it's worth and tries to take a nap instead.

Zoro hears someone stroll out of the galley, and cracks his eye open to see Sanji balancing a tray of smoothies in one hand with a beach towel in the other. He's dressed down, an open Hawaiian shirt and blue shorts replacing his usual suit.

"Hello, my darling, Nami-san! I've just prepared smoothies. Would you like one?"

"Yes, Sanji-- thank you so much," She says smugly, while looking directly at Zoro. "You're a saint, You know that?"

He watches the cook hand Nami a drink from the tray, and Sanji's eyes follow her gaze to the floor where he's lying. "Oh my god, marimo. you look like -excuse my language, Nami-san- a fucking caveman."

"What are you talking about?" Zoro would pick a fight, but it's way too hot to bother.

The blonde cringes. "Your hair looks like someone ate it and then spat it back out onto your head."

"Okay, well, fuck you too then!" God, everyone's out for him today. What has Zoro ever done to deserve this?

"Ugh. Stand up, you dunce." Sanji nudges Zoro's head with a sandaled foot. "You need a haircut."

"I can give myself a haircut." Zoro nods in the direction of his swords, trying to move as little as possible.

"Are you insa- no! I'm cutting your hair, properly. Now get up."

"I don't wanna."

"I swear to god," Sanji sighs. "My dearest Nami, do you mind holding this for a bit?"

Nami peers at the two of them through her oversized sunglasses, a knowing smirk on her face as she takes the tray from Sanji's hands. "No problem."

Zoro doesn't have time to get a word in before Sanji reaches for his ear and bodily drags him all the way to the bathroom.

----- "I don't understand how you let it get this bad," The blonde lectures.

Zoro grumbles as he slouches on a stool in front of the bathroom sink, glaring at his own reflection. Sanji was partially right with his comment earlier - Zoro's hair is a damp, scraggly mess on top of his head right now. From where he is, Zoro can see the cook as he lines up all his fancy hair-cutting stuff, whispering insults under his breath. He looks kind of...domestic, out of his suit. It's the one thing Zoro appreciates whenever the Sunny passes through climates like this. "Okay, I'm going to attempt to fix this mess, and you are going to stay still," Sanji asserts as he slides into place behind Zoro. "as in, do not move."

"I know what 'stay still' means."

"Surprising. I thought you only spoke in grunts."

They both fall silent, Sanji draping a towel over Zoro's shoulders and clicking a button on the clippers in his hand. Gentle fingers push Zoro's head forward to access the strands at the nape of his neck. The whirring of the machinery and Sanji's hums every now and then are the only sounds in the cramped bathroom, and Zoro almost falls asleep to the feeling of the blond's hands in his hair.

"Hey." Sanji delivers two sharp taps to the back of Zoro's head. "Stop slouching, you're making it uneven."

"I'm so hot."

"I'm sure you are, you meathead. sit up."

Zoro begrudgingly straightens his back, getting a better view of the cook's freckled face reflected in the mirror. He always gets freckles when it's sunny out. They look like little constellations, scattered across his cheeks like that. Zoro wants to touch them so badly.

A few minutes pass, and Sanji moves to the front of his hair, taking a black comb from the counter to parse through the mess draping over Zoro's forehead. His face is scrunched in concentration, a crease between his eyebrows visible as he snips away with a pair of silver scissors. Zoro just...watches, staring intently into the other man's eyes. He's not sure if he's delirious from the heat, but is the cook's face turning red?

Sanji pauses his ministrations to frown at him. "Stop fucking looking at me. It's creepy."

"Sorry, sir." That earns him a snort and another smack to the side of his head. Zoro closes his eye (reluctantly. very reluctantly).

It feels like forever before Sanji finishes up his hair, ruffling it slightly before commanding Zoro to open his eyes.

The haircut is cropped close to his neck in the back, his overgrown sideburns shaped to follow his hairline. His hair is still a bit long on top, but it doesn't fall over his face.

Zoro's reflection looks better; neat, almost. He actually really likes it.

"It's okay, I guess." Zoro's lying through his teeth. It's fantastic, anything Sanji ever does is fantastic.

Sanji looks at him through the mirror. "Hm. Handsome little marimo." He nods in self-approval before packing up all his stuff, whisking the towel from around Zoro's shoulders to take to the laundry room.

Zoro sits there, bewildered, watching the other man maneuver around the tiny space unbothered- what?

He turns to look at Sanji as the blonde saunters out of the bathroom, definitely already busying himself with something else.

When Zoro turns back to his reflection, he doesn't fight the tiny smile that crosses his face. Sanji thinks he's Handsome.

The smile's gone just as quick as it came, replaced with a scowl as he hears a female voice giggling through the wall to his right.

"Nami, I'm going to murder you."

Party with your special strawhat | HC

Summary: After the battle you're celebrating at the signature Strawhat banquet!

Characters: Luffy, Zoro, Usopp & Sanji

Author's note: Back at it again, this time I did my best to make them proper headcannons. You can tell who my favorite is lmao. Also give my boy Usopp the attention he deserves.

Luffy

He loves when you sit next to him during the banquet.

He always saves you a seat by his side, even if you're a little late to join everyone knows the seat by his side is yours.

He'll be all like "Hey y/n! Try this it's really good!" While he's passing some food over to you (yes he shares, there's a lot to go around after all).

He even feeds you directly sometimes because he enjoys it.

Luffy wants to share as many experiences with you, so of course if a dish is particularly yummy he'll give some to you to watch your eyes lit up. "I told you it was yummy!"

If you're separated and he finds something delicious he'll try his best to save a piece for when you reunite (it's not always successful but he tries okay?)

He loves when you feed him food too. Even laying all king like with his head in your lap as you feed him. (Power couple yessir).

If you like to drink he'll indulge you, though be warned he gets even more touchy-feely when he has alcohol in his system.

After he's satisfied with drinking and eating, he's ready for more fun.

He loves to dance and even more if it's with you so he's quick to get to his feet reaching his hand out to you "y/n let's dance!" He's grinning wide.

If you ask him first he'll be thrilled letting you guide him to the dance floor by the hand.

You'll dance with the silliest most goofy moves laughing and grinning the whole time, you're the life of the party.

He loves to spin you around, your laugh as you spin music to his ears.

He'll stretch to make the weirdest dance moves.

If the party goes on for a long time you'll take naps together.

Luffy will wrap his arms around you to protect you while you both sleep.

You already know he's big on physical touch but during the party he'll search for any excuse to be touching you.

It could he something minor like interlacing pinkies, holding hands or full on wrapped around your body.

He loves to give you little pecks and kisses throughout the party.

You love to just go "Luffy look at this!" He turns to see what you mean but your lips connect with his instead. "Surprise kiss!"

He loves it, it drives him crazy.

He's also the biggest attention hoarder he loves when you pay attention to him, tries his hardest to make you laugh and prides himself when you do.

If you dance or pay attention to other people for a long time he'll pout and walk over to you to bring your awareness back to him.

He'll put his head on your shoulder, or catapult himself into you.

If you get separated he'll look for you, he may have something to show you, but it's mostly because he loves your company.

In the end he's happiest when he's with you or you're around.

Zoro

Two words, drinking contest.

If you're going against him, get ready to get blackout drunk unless you can hold your liquor.

You're his favorite rival because he gets his two favorite things drinking and you.

If you're not his drinking opponent, he loves when you cheer him on.

It gives him extra power to crush his opponent.

If you are not big on drinking he'll bring you different non-alcoholic drinks to try, as long as you're spending time together he's happy.

If you want to get him to dance with you there's a couple of ways.

First you can promise him booze if he dances with you, he'll pretend to be reluctant (he actually enjoys being close to you while you both dance) but he'll do it.

You can make it a challenge "Winner takes the booze" you say. "You're on!" He replies.

Or you can wait till he's drunk some booze so he's easier to convince.

Or you can threaten to dance with someone else, that will make him grab your hand and lead you to the dance floor himself. He'll die before he shares.

Either way you always get a couple of dances with him.

He loves touching you casually. Like he'll be drinking and have you on his lap, a hand wrapped around your waist.

If you go somewhere by yourself he'll keep an eye on you the entire time.

Zoro particularly enjoys when you grab his hand to lead him around, though he won't admit it, at least he won't resist. He can't resist you or refuse you anyway.

He'll sometimes lead you away from the noise to kiss in a hallway or alley, just you and him.

He loves making out, but he's not big on PDA, so this is how he manages.

Unless someone is making you uncomfortable then he'll get all close and personal with you to make them go away.

They always do after looking at the murder in his eyes.

Your presence always comforts Zoro in a way you can't imagine.

Usopp

He loves to make you laugh and the party is the perfect opportunity.

If you weren't with him during the battle he'll tell you all about his exploits (a bit exaggerated as always).

The more he drinks the crazier his story becomes.

You put your undivided attention on him when he speaks which he adores.

You drag him to the dance floor at your first opportunity, he can try any excuse in the book but you have him by the hand.

He'll be shy at first but quickly get comfortable with your help.

Next, he's making all kinds of moves to try to impress you.

You will sit together while enjoying the food, cracking jokes and enjoying yourselves.

You'll cozy up to him, nestling on his side. He puffs his chest, trying to look manly for you.

Sometimes, you'll play around running all through the party grounds laughing.

You'll also play games together including other party attendants.

You'll kiss him sometimes which makes him go beet red, it's your favorite pass time.

Sanji

He serves you the best portions of the meals he prepares.

If he's not on chef duty then he will scout around for the yummiest food and bring you the best of the best.

Or if you decide to walk with him he'll explain the dishes to you, pointing out how a certain ingredient goes amazing with this other one and so on.

You listen to his every word and he can't get enough, his smoke coming out in heart puffs.

If you let him feed you he'll be estastic, let's hope he doesn't get a nosebleed.

You want to dance with him? Anything for you.

He let's you lead him around the dance floor, grabbing his hand.

He bursts out his best moves for you, basically jumping around in glee.

If you kiss him, prepare the tissues for his nose.

He tries to control it as best he can but if it's a deep kiss he'll loose it.

He has eyes for nobody but you, his days of searching for ladies ended with you.

He wouldn't have it any other way.

You know them, it's Zoro, the man that you love so deeply you would do anything for him. He doesn't have to say anything because you know that he’s looking over you like a shadow. Robin figures it out first. She notices it in the subtle ways ㅡ Luffy's a little calmer around you, Zoro a little less brash. Tempered in the way they both watch you, subtle ways and reasons to be around you that she isn't sure everyone else notices. When she brings it up to Franky, he laughs.

"Oh, those three? Yeah, I thought something might be going on. Cute, isn't it?" Robin watches the cyborg continue to tinker with his latest creation, seating herself quietly nearby.

"It is," she says, waiting for a moment before she leans towards Franky, resting against him. "I think they balance each other out nicely."

Franky laughs and leans into her as well. "Me too."

Sanji suspects it when Luffy doesn't devour the entire tray of treats as he so often does, pausing to eye the last of them before he picks them up and turns towards the galley door. "I'm gonna go share these," he says and takes off before Sanji can ask.

When you stop by later to thank him for them and compliment the flavor, a proverbial lightbulb flicks on over his head. It does it again when you stop Zoro fighting with him with an elbow to the swordsman's ribs and a shake of your head. Instead of grousing about how you should mind your own business, the green haired man simply scoffs and quiets down. Sanji shares a look with Nami, who only grins in response, because she already knows.

Usopp and Chopper are the last to know and the only reason that they do is because Luffy tells them. "You've been hanging out a lot with [Name] and Zoro lately," Usopp says, and Luffy grins.

"Well yeah, I like being around them." Luffy glances up towards the training room, where he can see a head of green hair. "Taking naps with Zoro is great and [Name] shares their food sometimes! Their kisses are really nice too."

"Yeah, wellㅡ" Usopp stops. "Did you say 'kisses'? You mean [Name] kisses you?"

Luffy shrugs. "Well yeah, they do. So does Zoro, and then they kiss each other sometimes." He blinks when Usopp and Chopper both choke in surprise. "What's up with you two? You're being weird."

"We're not the one being weird! Youㅡ"

"What's going on over here?" All three heads snap in your direction and Luffy's face lights up before he gets to his feet and bounds over to you, arms looping around your shoulders as he squeezes you to him. "What are you guys yelling about?"

"Luffy said that you guys have kissed but you also kiss Zoro," Chopper says, and there isn't an issue with the prospect itself ㅡ it's that he and Usopp want confirmation that Luffy hasn't misunderstood something.

Your head tilts. "Yeah, we're dating. Thought you guys knew that already."

The resulting shriek that echoes over the Sunny says that no, they didn't. And when they figure out that they're the last to know about this, it's followed by even more sulking.

Look, I gotta be honest, I've never actually watched One Piece outside of the episodes that would air on Toonami back in the day, and I only really cared enough about it because my brother-in-law and my irl best friend both LOVE One Piece... and now my older brother is getting into One Piece too... but like I said in a previous post, I caved and ended up watching the One Piece Live Action (though I guess it didn't help that seeing Taryn cosplay as Zoro kinda reawakened my crush on ZoloZoro as a 4kids)... and I'm also sick right now and I have nothing better to do than write some Zoro boyfriend headcanons apparently. Aside from watching the OPLA, I did do my research on Zoro.. research being reading his page on the OP Wiki 😂😂

The way Mackenyu said that he looked at his wife and knew that he wanted to marry her (supposedly, I couldn't find any concrete sources for this save for a YouTube video using TTS... but hey, it fed my imagination for this), I felt that so much for Zoro.

Of course, it doesn't happen overnight for Zoro. It takes a while, maybe even years, for him to look at you and be like, "I wouldn't mind settling down with you if possible." Oh boy, but when it does happen, he becomes very perceptive of you.

Just like his training, he takes his relationship with you very seriously, and even if he doesn't act on his feelings for you straight away--because one, he has a strong sense of duty to Luffy first, and two, you'd be his first and maybe only romantic partner ever--he'd still reserve a certain amount of softness and gentleness to you when not in the presence of others.

Let's go back to Zoro's perceptiveness really quickly. Yes, my man can be a dumbass at the best and worst of times and we all love that about him, but when it comes down to what's important, he knows how to analyze and read the situation. So, because he views you as someone important and someone he should take seriously, he's going to personally be making sure that you're okay, mentally, emotionally, and physically. He's that dedicated to you.

There will be times where his loyalty to Luffy might have to take center stage in the relationship, especially if its during a critical juncture, rest assured that he will do his best to make it up to you afterwards. He doesn't voice it often because of his strong loyalty to Luffy, but there are brief times in which he wishes that he could just spend time with you.

Now, Zoro isn't one for PDA, he gets very embarrassed by it because showing affection in public isn't something that he's comfortable with doing, but, get him out of public and into private, that man is on you, no question. The most affection he's comfortable with showing in public is you two taking a nap together, or even sharing a bottle together (which is very hard to get him to do, the man loves his alcohol, so congrats if you manage it).

As an official romantic partner, he's actually very sweet. Yes, he can come off as very blunt and cold sometimes, but he's just being honest with you. To him, its more important to be truthful than to sugarcoat things. For you, however, he's working on saying things more gently if in the case you get hurt by his initial blunt tendencies. Past that, however, he tends to you with the same care he tends to his swords. He sees a fruit or snack that you adore in the markets when he's helplessly lost? He'll absolutely buy it for you. Finds an item you've been wanting for a while? Don't worry, he's already paying for it. He finds out that you maybe feel a bit homesick? He'll begrudgingly ask Sanji to cook one of your favorite hometown dishes. He sees that you're feeling down on yourself? He's there to either quietly lend an ear or his presence, whichever you need. My man is an attentive boyfriend.

Also also, Zoro is a man of few words, so don't expect to hear him say, "I love you," very often, but that's okay. He's a man of few words, but his actions speak so much for him. You can feel him say those words in the way he kisses you thoughtfully, in the way he holds you so securely to him when you two nap or sleep together, in the way he dutifully monitors your alcohol intake (if you drink alcohol of course), in the way he tends to you carefully if you get hurt in a fight. To him, words are useless and actions mean so much more.

In other words, Zoro would make the best boyfriend in his special own way.

Sanji immediately suspected Zoro liked you from the beginning because of how “nicer” he acted towards you.

He still had his stoic demeanor but Sanji always noted the slight glint in Zoro’s eyes when he talked to you. You didn’t even really notice considering he was too busy making you laugh as well.

“Since when the hell did you become a comedian.”

Zoro didn’t care if Sanji liked you. He likes all women so he figured one day he may end up fighting him, but in the same instance Zoro had his pride and knew he wouldn’t want to fight over a woman with the damn love cook so he knew the best way of stealing you from Sanji was to just one up him on everything.

Sanji cooks you a meal? That’s fine Zoro would offer to let you nap with him after wards.

Zoro wanted to carry you back to the ship? Awesome because now Sanji will rub your feet when you get home to the Sunny.

It was kinda awesome honestly.

You laughed with Luffy until you felt your entire exposed back get wet, you were shocked at the sudden cold liquid rolling off your body when you turned to see a smirking green haired man staring at you.

“YOU ASS!” Spraying him back, but just barely missing. You sometimes forget how fast he can be.

Zoro was Running away until Sanji decided to spray him back with full force making him fall on his butt. It earned him a giggle from you in turn making Sanji’s ego rise about 10 times over.

Zoro However wasn’t having it—how dare he embarrass him in front of you!

“YOU TWIRLY BROW BAFOON THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!”

“ME?! THE NERVE OF YOU TO SPRAY MY Y/N LIKE THAT DO YOU HAVE ANY HOME TRAINING?”

They both were too busy arguing that you began to charge up your gun and spray them both so hard they nearly flew off the ship.

Guys imagine...Chopper new to the strawhat crew and he wants to do like one of those routine physicals with everyone and also just get to know them n shit.

Chopper like "How do you ALL have PTSD symptoms what the heck guys" and everyone just shrugs bc fuck if they know lmao

Zoro and Sanji alone are two whole cans of worms he's already mentally preparing to open, Luffy is your token ADHD kid with both inattentive and hyperactive types. Nami SEEMS fine. Except not when she tells Chopper about the Arlong pirates and he immediately makes a new page of notes.

So chopper sits everyone down and is like "Okay so. If you ever need to talk about something, ANYTHING, im here for you!" and everyone is super touched by how kind this kid is.

Everyone in some capacity does, and theyre like little therapy sessions. Some talk to Chopper more than once a week and he's perfectly fine with that. He likes helping the crew he's become a part of. Some actually talk about what affects them (nami and usopp) while others will just bust in with the most random shit known to man (luffy and i KNOW sanji would too u cant tell me otherwise). Regardless chopper listens no matter how small it is.

The only one who doesnt visit is Zoro. At first, Chopper doesnt think much of it. Zoro likes to keep to himself anyways and the kid doesnt wanna force anyone to talk to him about their problems, its counterproductive anyways to try and do that. After thriller bark, though, Chopper sits Zoro down against his will.

What he does learn though is that Zoro doesnt want to add more baggage to whatever chopper is dealing with. Despite chopper's reassurance, zoro refuses to stress the reindeer out. Its not even because zoro thinks he needs to be strong, its because zoro sees chopper as like a little brother he wants to support and take care of.

That totally doesnt make chopper tear up at all. Nope.

Zoro does talk to chopper that day about some stuff like Kuina, his childhood at the dojo, him being a pirate hunter before meeting luffy, and a few stories from before chopper joined. If they were friends before this theyre definitely best friends after.

After that, maybe once in a blue moon, zoro will go visit chopper. Sometimes he'll take a nap and other times he'll talk about something mundane. He's probably only talked about something serious maybe twice, but chopper still listens no matter what.

He would be all for it. He loves his crew and what the best way to show his love? Why, physical affection of course! Luffy would immediately say yes and would try to help you get the rest of the crew in on the idea. Luffy would totally ask for snacks in the midst of all the cuddles. I’m which, Sanji knowing his captain, would have snacks already whipped up for everyone. Now that the idea is planted in his head, Luffy would ask for these cuddle sessions more often. I know he has brothers and stuff, but like everyone on the crew has a lot of trauma and this would be much needed. Luffy would probably not sit still for awhile, but he would get sleepy and start napping. He would try to pay attention to his crew to see if they are comfortable and if they are, he will he super happy. If they aren’t he will immediately stop things and ask what’s wrong 😭💕 would wrap his arms around everyone and say he loves you guys.

•Sanji👨‍🍳

When you sprang the idea on him, he was iffy. What about the food? Lunch, dinner? Who’s going to do that? You understand his concern and offer to help him in the kitchen for 1-2 weeks. You praise him for his efforts and because he cares about the crews health and he’s onboard. He would love cuddle sessions, and immediately succumb to the love. Because of his background, he has issues with his self worth and cuddles temporarily help take his mind off them. He is such a soft guy omg how do women in op not love him omg😭. He wouldn’t even simp for Nami and Robin because he knows when and when not to. (He’s respectful like that) Sanji would totally be a little spoon. Hesitant about being soft openly but soon becomes comfortable.

He so touch starved omg. Bro is trying to act cool guy you know. (Luffy knows too lmao) you and luffy try to persuade him that this would be a requirement for everyone’s mental health and that you guys love him so much and that he would such a great pillow. Plus, he would get to nap! He weighs the pros and cons, obviously hesitating. Nami tells him that she’ll give him his favorite sake if he does cuddle and he’s in. Zoro viably happily with his decision. However, when nami looks at you with that “your debt has increased” look, you sweat nervously. Overall zoro would love having his crew all together. As someone who’s always reserved and acts cool, he would also be hesitant about being vulnerable so openly. But he eventually just goes with the flow and let’s everything happen. Would nap with his arms crossed behind his head. (Luffy laying on his chest, chopper on his lap)

•Nami 💰

Slightly uncertain about the idea but is excited. For a small price.. Haha kidding!! No way she would fine you for something like this! She would love the idea and have an excuse to be around everyone without an excuse. She would probably be Sanjis big spoon (lmao). Nami would make sure to be near Chopper and Ussop. The weakling trio😿🫶. (Plot twist they aren’t weak😢) she would be worried about people see the ship but your devil fruit took care of that. Nami never really got to have freedom as she does now thanks to the arming pirates. And this is a great way to show love to each other. She would later fine you, but the fee is dropped by like %60. (Very rare occurrence)

•Chopper🦌

I LOVE HIM HES SO CUTE AND LOVEABLE AND TINY AND SOFT ADFLKAHS

He would love to be around his friends and snuggles are great! He is uncomfortable with people he doesn’t know petting him, so he trusts everyone a lot. He loves sitting on the crews shoulders. Would walk around in a circle on Zoro’s lap and then hunker down and sleep. I feel like he would purr but he’s not a cat :(. Would need bribing and a pep-talk. Plus chopper to hold onto(and pet) for comfort. You would use your allowance (bestowed upon you by Nami) to buy history books you think she would like. And some chopper suggests. You offered your services (like You did with Sanji) to help her find any clues or just be in her presence for company late at night. She wants to be able to touch and feel like they are okay. But she fees as though she doesn’t deserve such a thing. You tell her that this cuddle session is for everyone’s comfort and if she doesn’t feel comfortable then she absolutely does not have to be there. But it’s for everyone’s comfort and all of you are touch starved and need love.

She would think about it for awhile but end up agreeing to it. She would sit beside Zoro, petting chopper, (if everyone is asleep she’ll use her devil fruit to take her take a book to her, or just summon and eye and read the book from afar.)

•Usopp🔫

A little skeptical, but happy that he can be around everyone. You and Luffy talk about new ideas for things to shoot from his slingshot like ninja stars, fireworks, paint, meat, poison, and other things. Luffy had most of the ideas, but came up short since Usopp already has some of those. (“Not meat though >:( “ -Luffy) Usopp is a little scared of the idea, maybe you guys would make fun of him.? (None of you will) Usopp would make up lies about his many chronic illnesses and that he is too strong and would break you all if you cuddled. You knew he was just afraid and gave him a big hug. Luffy followed suit. Usopp blushed and began telling everyone how he defeated a big fish with poop the size of an island. Although he did agree and he laid in between Luffy and Zoro to be near chopper and Nami.

•Franky 🥤

SUPERRRRR!! He is all for it! He is a little scared he might hurt someone but still very happy and accosted. He would bring cola, water, sake, and juice for everyone to drink. Juice for (you), Luffy and (Chopper. Sake for Zoro and Nami. Water for Robin and Sanji. Cola for Usopp and himself. He would probably be on the outside of the napling session, laying by Sanji. I think Franky would look at his fellow crew mates and tear up. He would nap by bending his arm with his hand on his head. Yk what i mean? Or upside down. Like feet on the wall back on the floor kinda upside down.

Just to specify how they’re napping, I’ll explain.

On the far left is Luffy. Legs spread out everywhere with his head on Zoro’s chest(perfect pillow), His arm all the way to the far right ‘hugging’ his crew. dreaming about meat and protecting Zoro and his crew.

Zoro is right next to Luffy, his arms crossed behind his head, snoring(loud!) empty cup of sake at his feet. He’s sitting upright, back against the wall. Dreaming about swords and Protecting Luffy.

Usopp is below Luffy. His head resting on Zoro’s stomach. He’s in a somewhat fetal position clinging onto Zoro’s body. Mumbling in his sleep about some adventure the ship hasn’t seen.

Chopper is lower down on Zoro’s body, his lap. He rests in a snug curling position, like a cat curled up into its self. (v warm) snoring quietly. Dreaming about doctorine and dr. Hiluluk.

Next to Zoro is Robin also, sitting up right. Sat on her shins, her knees pointing to the floor. (Also Perfect pillow😻Nami can confirm🙏) maybe reading a book. Sipping her cup of water. Petting Nani’s hair.

Nami is laid on Robins thighs, quietly whispering something about money and Bellemere. (Robin chuckles at this) Nami big-spooning sanji.

Sanji little spooning. Very comfortable. Nami unconsciously playing with sanjis hair has his heart all melty. LOVES the attention. Loves women. Is happy that he has such a crew. Dreaming about cooking and new recipes.

Franky is on the far right, He was lying on his side, propped up on one/his elbow, hand supporting his head sleeping. Yk there’s a little bubble deflating and inflating again coming out of his nose. Not that there can be snot or anything in his metal nose. (I think?) he’s probably dreaming about Tom and Iceburg and him building new ships and the train. teary when he eventually wakes up.

You are where ever you want to be lol. Kinda forgot to make a space or wtv but you can imagine or make something different if you want. I love this headcanon sm. 😾💕

I didn’t even get to say goodbye ..

Zoro

A normal evening, except Zoro was busy with whatever training he always did. You cracked open the door, seeing him swinging the bar full of ginormous weights attached. You heard him muttering numbers, counting around 1000 of these swings. You leaned on the doorway, just watching him train for a little while. You always admired his determination to train until he’s the best, to work hard until he’s satisfied. Zoro noticed you after 10 minutes of your silent observing. “What do you need?” He asked, wiping the sweat off his face with a towel he wrapped around his neck. You honestly just needed a hug, maybe some cuddles? There was no reason behind your feelings, you just felt.. Tired, tired of life maybe. It was hard to put into words exactly how you felt and why. Zoro noticed your lack of energy, as well as the change in how you spoke, “Are you going to finish soon?” You asked, your voice quiet, almost lethargic. He’s learned to become extremely observant, and he takes extra care around you because he loves you oh so much. He was starting to get a bit worried about you, thinking he should take a break to see if you were ok. “I’m finished now, let’s go.” He replied quickly, putting on a shirt, walking out of the training room with you. The last thing he wanted was for you to not feel happy, he needed your happiness for him to be happy.

“I think I just need a nap.” You replied honestly, yawning as you leaned against his shoulder. Zoro was a man of few words most of the time, and this was no different. He opened the door to your shared room, letting you climb into bed while he tried to wipe all the sweat off his body. He climbed into bed right next to you, wrapping one of his bulky arms around you, holding you close to his chest. Your ear to his heart, listening to the calming pulse in his chest. You nuzzled into his warmth, getting yourself more comfortable as he leaned his head against the top of yours, already starting to doze off. It was moments like these that made you feel better, the soft things that could just make your heart melt in an instant. His arm around you, strong, firmly holding you close to him. His soft snores lulling you to sleep, a steady heartbeat that echoed through your ears that always seemed to allow you the gift of peaceful rest. It was all just so.. perfect.

For the first time, Zoro was the first to shift in his sleep. He opened his eye slowly, looking down at you, gazing lovingly at your sleeping figure. He had a soft smile on his face, one that showed so much love and care for the love of his life, you. He gazed at each of your features, your h/c hair that was always soft to his touch, your closed eyes.. He noticed tears pricking the corners of your eyes, some droplets attaching to your eyelashes. He gently wiped them away with his calloused thumb, trying his best to not scratch you too much. He looked concerned, “Y/n, why are you crying? Was it a nightmare or something?” He asked in his gruff sounding voice. He situated himself to sit up slightly more as he wrapped his other arm around you, lifting you directly onto his lap. You didn’t respond to any of his words nor his actions, this wasn’t normal. “Y/n- can you hear me?? Are you just sleeping?” He asked, starting to shake you gently, thinking of any way he could get you to respond. More concern started to come to him, worries filling his mind endlessly. His brows furrowed with such worry as he desperately tried anything he could do to wake you up. The last step would be to check if you still had a pulse.. He didn’t want to do it, he didn’t want to see the answer. Somewhere in his mind, he already knew. His fingers pressed against the side of your neck, his fingertips slightly shaking while he didn’t feel the familiar pulse of your heartbeat. Maybe he was just checking in the wrong place right? He checked everywhere, your wrists, the left side of your chest, fingertips, what else could he have checked? Your lips were pale, your skin was pale, your body cold to the touch.

“Damn it- wake up y/n! Come on!” He shouted, his eye wide with worry and grief. His teeth were clenched, his jaw starting to ache from the pressure. His hands were desperately clinging onto your cold limbs, his warming touch trying to bring you back to him. Where was your loving smile that greeted him in the morning? Where was the familiar warmth of your body right beside him? Why couldn’t he feel that anymore? Where did you go? Why did you have to leave..? He held onto you tightly, struggling to not start screaming. His grief manifested as rage, anger. He was shaking, his breath becoming fast. He started yelling in pain, screaming as he buried his face in the crook of your cold neck. He was crying out how much pain he felt, how much he missed you already. He needed you. He desperately needed you, and no matter how hard he’d try, nothing could ever replace you. He was afraid, why did you leave him so soon? All these feelings, all these emotions were too much for him. Screaming was the only thing he could do to help himself. His voice was lost after a couple minutes, yet he kept screaming, not being able to hear his own voice as he violently shook, holding your body like a glass sculpture. “Why?!” He managed to shout in between his hoarse screams. His mouth was open with the intention to scream, yet his voice was so tired, no sound came out. Perhaps this made it a much sadder sight. His yells were inaudible, so soft, yet filled with such pain and anguish. All he could think was.. why? Why did you have to leave?

Luffy

Sitting on the figurehead of the ship was the strawhat pirate, Luffy, the love of your life. He sat there with his usual big grin, spreading ear to ear. His eyes filled with excitement, energy, and just.. Freedom. He had the look of freedom in his eyes, as if nothing could ever hold him back. He looked behind him, directly at you. He laughed, “Hey y/n!! Come sit with me!” He shouted excitedly, beckoning for you to come and join him. You couldn’t help but softly smile, walking over towards the edge of the ship as his stretching arms grabbed you, whipping you right in front of him, almost between his legs. He laughed, wrapping his arms around you as you leaned back into his chest, the chilly air making you nuzzle more into his warmth. His scent, the familiar smell of the meal he had eaten before, it was oddly comforting. His heartbeat was naturally a bit fast, yet hearing it slowed yours down, calming you softly.

He put his hat on your head, the scratchy pieces of straw tickling your forehead, “Isn’t this fun y/n? Look at that bird!” He shouted with his huge grin that was filled with such excitement and joy. His smile could always make your days brighter, his presence alone bringing the sun into your life. You smiled softly at him as you leaned closer to him, the hat allowing you to have some shade on this sunny afternoon. You wrapped your arms around the rubber boy, gently closing your eyes, comfortably situated in front of him. He kept his arms around you in a loving bear hug, still continuing to admire the shimmering ocean waves that crashed against the ship. The seagulls that flew above in a formation that seemed to change every five seconds, the salt filled air, the chilly breeze that was just cold enough to give you chills. Being around Luffy felt so safe, as if nothing could ever happen to you while you were in his arms. You smiled into his chest as you started to become more and more sleepy. The warmth that spread into your body from his hug allowed you to fall asleep quickly. He also started to get a bit tired, your presence was soothing for him, and a very necessary thing for whenever he sleeps. He doesn’t rest very well without you otherwise. His head started leaning forward, eyelids heavy and struggling to stay open. He ended up slumping entirely into you, his head falling into the comfort of the crook of your neck. He smelled the scent of your shampoo, all while keeping his arms firmly wrapped around you to make sure you both wouldn’t fall off. His snores were right into your ear, but you couldn’t seem to hear them at all. Nothing could wake you up now.

Luffy grumbled something groggily, sniffing the air and becoming excited because of Sanji’s dinner that would soon be done. He tapped you softly, giggling excitedly for some meat that he waited so long for. When you didn’t budge, he looked a bit confused and annoyed. “Y/nnnnn- helloooo? C’mon Sanji’s making dinner! Let’s go let’s go!” He shouted excitedly, shaking you back and forth like a madman. Why didn’t you reluctantly get up, feeling dizzy because of his actions? Where was that familiar look of tiredness on your face that usually greeted Luffy on days like these? He removed his hat that was covering your face, and he immediately noticed the tears that pricked the corners of your eyes. His entire expression changed into a slightly more concerned one. His energy was now entirely focused on you, why were you crying? What happened? “Y/n- are you crying?? What’s wrong?” He asked, poking your cheeks and trying to stretch them out to get you to wake up. He did everything, he tried opening your eyelids himself, making the most- horrific faces with his rubber cheeks, and continuously shaking you back and forth. Why didn’t you respond to anything?! He grumbled something inaudible, only sounds of panic and worry coming out of his mouth as he continued to try and wake you up. He tried holding your hands.. But they were so cold that even he was a bit shocked, taken aback by the sudden freezing temperature. “Nami-! Y/n’s really cold- grab a blanket!” He shouted frantically, squeezing your hands over and over again to try and get you to respond. “You’re sick? Maybe tired? C’mon don’t be like Zoro!” He shouted as the rest of the crew started to become worried about your condition. Nami brought blankets, helping Luffy wrap you up inside them. “Nami- why isn’t y/n waking up?” He asked, holding you in his arms, holding your freezing fingers with his own. Nami worriedly put two fingers to your neck, and her eyes widened, her eyes filled with horror, welling up with tears.

Chopper rushed over, trying to find your non-existent heartbeat, chasing for any signs of life in you. Luffy was frozen, his eyes blank, as if there was no more life left in him. He couldn’t hear anything, he couldn’t hear some of his friends crying about your death, he couldn’t see anything but your dead body in his arms. Why were you dead..? No one could’ve killed you, not on his watch. Yet.. Why were you dead?! He made a promise to himself that he’d protect you, that he’d make sure you were safe with him and his crew. So why is your dead body in his arms? He was too shocked, this was all too much, so many thoughts were filling his head at once. He let go of you, watching your figure lay in front of him, those tears that pricked your eyes finally falling down your pale cheeks. “Luffy.. I’m sorry..” Chopper said in a soft voice, putting his hoof on Luffy’s forearm to try and console him. When he looked towards the rest of his crew, they instantly froze. His eyes were filled with such hatred, pain, and regret. It was like all he wanted was revenge. But on who? Even Luffy didn’t know, so much rage was present, why did you die? His eyes, completely filled with hatred. It gave everyone a scare, they all knew how much he cared about you, how often he thought of you, how he loved you to the moon and back.

The fact that you died.. On his watch, in his arms. It only made his emotions so much worse, this was his fault wasn’t it? He internalized it, why did he not watch over you more carefully? Why didn’t he help you? He was on his knees, still clutching onto your hands that almost froze his own to yours. Even though so much hatred was present in his gaze, tears were pouring down his cheeks, grief was the overwhelming atmosphere. His hands were shaking, desperately trying to find your warm touch again. The crew took a step back, allowing Luffy to hold your hands for a little while. The only thought that filled his mind was, “why did I let this happen?” But he realized.. Would there have been anything he could’ve done? Too much. All of this.. was too much for him to bear.

I LOVED THIS ARC

Baratie Arc? More like Sanji Arc- Ok ok ok let’s get started.

First of all: New crewmate!!! Sanji is so cool. His backstory was probably the darkest of the crew that’s been revealed so far bc like. Starvation is no joke. ALSO ZEFF CUT HIS OWN LEG OFF TO SAVE SANJI?.?? that’s his dad. Idc who Sanji’s real dad is, ZEFF is his dad.

Zoro’s friends were so funny in this arc too like how are they still alive 😭 I’m glad they’re ok though. Full body iron fist or whatever his name is? He was INTERESTING WHY DID THEY JUST USE HIM TO INTRODUCE SANJI AND GIVE LUFFY A REASON TO STAY AT THE BARATIE FOR LONGER THAN HE HAD TO. BRING HIM BAAAAACK I WANT SANJI TO KICK HIM IN THE FACE AGAIN!!!

Also Mihawk. All hail Mihawk. He’s so great omg I want more Mihawk content and I want it now. He’s my fave he looks so cool I want a poster of him

ZEFF is chill, I like him. He’s funny. The fact that he hits people with his hat while he’s wearing it is hilarious and I love it.

Also idk why but I rlly like Sanji’s shirt. Like- the stripey blue shirt. It’s my favorite thing ever. Also Sanji gets so angry so quickly and it’s absolutely hilarious like he was so calm until Fullbody spilled the soup. He curses so much and I appreciate that.

IM SO CONCERNED ABT THIS CREW BTW CAUSE LUFFY JUST PUNCHED DON KRIEG THROUGH THE SPIKES AND ZORO GOT DESTROYED BY MIHAWK- WHERE IS THEIR SURVIVAL INSTINCT 😭

Also Sanji saving Luffy from drowning 👍 they’re besties now I don’t make the rules

I think Usopp has all their survival instinct at this point
