Marriot Courtyard, Seminyak, Bali 🇮🇩
A city styled hotel, smaller rooms, but easy to get to shops (about 5 minutes drive). The rooms are basic, but sufficient.
Pool is large and has a swim up bar. Kids club was great - huge ball pitt that the kids loved.

Tamper Espresso Bar, Lille, France 🍴 🇫🇷
A cute little cafe hidden in the cobblestone streets of Lille. The coffee was good, the staff spoke English and were super friendly and the breakfast menu was delicious, especially the Eggslut!

Residence Lancaster, Paris, France 🇫🇷
Situated in central Paris, 2 mins walk from Notre Dame, this accommodation was perfect for a Parisian break. Two good sized bedrooms, a lounge with a 6 seater dining table and full working kitchen. Beautifully decorated with plenty of windows letting light in. The location was perfect and easy to get around Paris. The street this is on has plenty of nice food options too. Would love to stay here again.

Koti Cafe, Liechtenstein 🇱🇮 ☕️
This place absolutely meets my high coffee standards! Koti in Liechtenstein served world class coffee, had a nice set up of tables/chairs and friendly staff. They also have a homeware brand with some great products.

EMA apartments, Zurich, Switzerland 🇨🇭
A short ride from the airport, train station and Zurich central, these apartments are perfect if your are looking for a bit of space in the rooms, modern design and nice views. The bedroom was a great size with a large king bed, space for office/luggage and a really chic lounge and kitchen area with large windows overlooking the stream. The food served to your room was plentiful with a mix of hot breakfast and cereals and bread. Highly recommend.

Hiding Space, St Catherine’s Hospital 🇬🇧
This is a fabulous set of self catered apartments. The styling and layout is perfect and feels luxurious. We had a separate lounge/kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. The products on offer were from Cow Shed. The bed is really large and kitchen has all the functions that you need. There’s a cute communal courtyard that gets good sun and is a cosy spot. The accommodation is less than 5 min walk from Bath station and is in the heart of town. Has a super easy check in/check out process. Highly recommend.

Centonove, Kew, Melbourne 🍴🇦🇺
Delicious Italian restaurant that mixes fine dining with the hospitality of being at your favourite local restaurant. The food was delicious, particularly the gnocchi and chocolate soufflé dessert. The veggie sides and chips would compliment any meal.

Places to visit on the Amalfi coast 🇮🇹 🏖
- Positano
- Sorrento
- Capri
- Praiano
- Ravello
- Amalfi
- Pompeii or Herculeum ruins
The first 3 on this list would be my fav.
Flying in and out of Naples, worth exploring for a day. ✈️
Parking can be hard, but makes it easy to get around. Or you can use their bus system which connects the towns - but can mean waiting a bit to then have to stand on the bus. 🚌

Kasai, Praiano, Italy 🇮🇹🍴
Good, local restaurant in Praiano. Food was nice, albeit service a bit slow. Worth reserving a table as it’s quite popular - ask to sit outside too and enjoy the beautiful views. Best dishes were: truffle pasta, spaghetti with fresh tomatoes and the tiramisu and pana cotta.

Gino e Toto Sorbillo, Naples, Italy 🇮🇹🍴
Famous pizza 🍕 joint in Naples. We went to the one in the heart of town. Notorious for long lines (1hr), we only waited for 10 mins which was a surprise considering the crowds in front. I would recommend the special Margarita. Simple, classic Italian meal. Pizza’s were very cheap.

Hotel Pelligrino, Praiano, Italy 🇮🇹
Situated in between Positano and the Amalfi coast is a charming small town called Praiano. We used this as our base to explore the picturesque Amalfi coast. Hotel Pelligrino can’t be faulted on service the host (family run) makes it his mission to ensure every guest is happy, and we were!
The rooms are charming, old world Italy with large balconies that overlook the bay. The building has the most magnificent hanging garden I have ever seen, and the breakfast was superb (also sea views).

The Chedi, Montenegro 🇲🇪
New boutique hotel that opened its doors in Montenegro’s new development area Lustica Bay. Everything you would expect from a top resort - well decorated rooms and lobby, spa, sauna, and an indoor and outdoor infinity pool. Service was great, as was the buffet breakfast. Good location, by the water and about a 20min drive to Kotor.

Copenhagen Coffee Lab,Lisbon,Portugal 🇵🇹☕️
Lots of great, high quality coffee shops are popping up around Lisbon. This one served delicious coffee (and their breakfasts looked really good too). It’s close by to the Flea Market, so easy to drop in on your way there.
