Everyone has an aura of magicka. The healer can draw on their own well of magickal energy to convince a body to repair itself.

Blood is carried by arteries and veins. Damage to these by cuts or bruises cause bleeding. People have a finite amount of blood and magic doesn’t create more. Healing the bruise or cut stops further bleeding but potions, food, water, and rest are how you get more blood.

Healing potions aren’t naturally red; people add food dye to make sure you know at a glance it’s the right mix.

Healing potions stimulate the creation of more blood but they won’t do much if the victim is already bleeding out.

In order to manipulate life energy, a healer needs to enter a meditative trance and focus on the target in great detail.

Meditation is key! Pose doesn’t really matter; comfort is generally better.

As with all things, you CAN just throw enough willpower and magicka at the problem and it’ll work, but this is wildly inefficient and may not produce satisfactory results. <- Does this mean a mage can just wing it if he doesn’t know the right spell?

Detailed knowledge of anatomy is better than guesswork.

The average adult human has about 206 bones.

This largely holds true for mer and the beast races*, but position & shape can vary dramatically.

*Some Khajiit are more feline than not. Research feline anatomy for Alfiq and Senche subspecies.

There’s no way I can possibly do this in combat!

I’d like to say I snuck in and nabbed it with none the wiser, but that would be lying. A bunch of bandits are dead and I’ve got Denstagmer’s ring. It feels magical ... I think?

It was difficult and messy to clean her skull out, but I wanted a trophy of my first assassination.

I spent the whole visit just knowing I didn’t really belong. Rumarin could’ve passed the entrance exams with his conjury, but I don’t know anything about anything.

At first there was nothing. Sithis split the nothing and made myriad ideas which grew and changed and faded away. But some ideas, the Aedra, didn’t want to fade. They were infinite and infinitely flawed. So Sithis sent down Lorkhan to be like the Aedra. To befriend the Aedra, and to deceive them.

Miss Constance took care of us all as best as she could, with Grelod there, but Grelod was there.

She helped me pack, Miss Constance did, and she held off on reporting the crime until I got out of Riften, at least. She says she’s gonna tell the guards she didn’t see anything, so maybe they won’t pin it on me.

I’m headed north for Windhelm: Aventus always talked about going home, so I’m pretty sure that’s where he went. He’ll want to know that Grelod is finally dead.
