every time i ask people if they do any new years resolutions its all ooooo i dont like making them bc i fail or ohhhhh no i couldnt keep up wiht that and then when they ask me and i tell them about Pasta Quest (i am eating as many different pasta shapes as possible in the space of a year) or when i did Fruit Adventures (every time i saw a fruit i had never eaten before id get one and eat it and read the wikipedia article about it) theyre like hang on i forgot you can make Fun Ones i want a fun one

Day 12: Faramir and Éowyn sketch. They're my OG Tolkien ship and still my favourite, and I have not drawn them at all before!

My usual painting technique isn't really suitable for this fade-to-sketch style, but I like it anyway.

People who drink coffee: why did you start?

I don't drink coffee and I've never wanted to, but that's obviously ~not normal~, so I'm curious why most people do start drinking it.

#not much of a coffee person #i prefer to get my caffeine from tea #kicks in more gently and doesn't make me run into things drop things and be a shaky mess #also had a formative experience during my first hangover (sleeping on a friend's couch) in which her dad went to make coffee in the morning #(kitchen was adjacent to the living room where i slept) #and just the smell of it was enough to make me so sick and miserable that i still associate coffee smells with that day

This reddit user took a poll of 3,500 people and went really in depth with asking their favorite terminology, along with actual pie charts on what the readers preferred to see in their smut.

Star charts.
