sometimes I forget ppl don’t always know their worth. bc, like, your blog/writing has always been *superior* to me and that was just a given. but seeing how surprised you seemed to be by my message (which I struggled to cut down to 500 characters) (and which was just me experiencing an outburst of emotion and NEEDING to externalize it) reminds me that it’s always nice receiving praise where it’s deserved. and to not take it for granted that one would know their value. so. yeah. you really are a great writer and storyteller (for some reason I think of those as separate). hihi ^^

When I found your blog back in 2020 I was hooked. And I mean HOOKED. I read all the finished fanfics, the one shots, the drabbles, I couldn't get enough. But I didnt want to start any unfinished fics, I was scared I couldnt handle the frustration. Eventually, I caved. I was deathly afraid I would stay on edge. But 1) your stories are so good as stand-alone, frustration wasnt even an afterthought 2) I am so happy to see you're active again and LOVED p&m's update and cant WAIT for the rest. love u

ARGH

It took me a while to write this but I literally had to pause the book I was reading to read this fic in its entirety (over 2 days bc I binge like that hihi). This was so good. I know I say this every time but Shanna has never ever ever disappointed me with her (recent) fics (just bc I haven’t read all of the older ones dont be mistaken).

The world building is so exquisitely done, I felt like I was watching a Marvel movie. In fact I think this should be made into a movie. Hm, but would it even be interesting without BTS in it...

Also, the characters!!!! So impressively well characterized. Shanna is able to build entirely new characters for every fic without them ever clashing with the irl member that embodies it. And this is no exception, each main, side, and passing character is so human yet so distinct; I’m floored.

More seriously, the writing here is exquisite. Most particularly the descriptions of each character’s emotions (obviously, largely y/n’s but jungkook’s too) were absolutely phenomenal. Never the same, and, for anyone who’s ever felt a smidgeon of feelings for anyone, very recognizable and easily imagined. I think that’s the true strength of a good writer; when you can perceive without any effort what the characters are feeling. Show, don’t tell I remember from my English Lit class; well, plenty is shown, and even more is felt. Truly extraordinary work here by the author, I thoroughly enjoyed this fic and was enraptured “de bout en bout” as we say in French (from end to end). 

TL;DR It was great!!! Go read it!!!
