Monseter (2004), directed by Maysayuki Kojima, and adapted from the manga of the same name by author Naoki Urasawa; is a thriller/drama anime, set in 1980s Germany. It follows the story of Dr. Tenma and how he saved a young boy from a gun shot wound and unveils a series of events that are just fucking WILD. Not a lot in terms of animations, but truly shines in it鈥檚 plot and twists. A very big recommendation from me, such an underrated classic that deserves much more recognition.
