A long day

Alastor had had a very long day. The kind of long day where your whole body ached by the end and your soul itself yearned for sleep. He was so tired that he didn’t notice when he walked to the wrong side of the hotel. Or when he walked into the door he believed to be his. He only noticed his mistake when a confused Lucifer opened the door.

Alastor fell against the short king of hell, no longer able to hold his own weight. And Lucifer barely caught him in his arms. Lucifer instantly noticed that the demon in his arms was exhausted beyond words and so brought him into his room. The king then carefully led Alastor down on the bed, getting in next to him and pulling him closer, into a hug. 

Absent-mindedly, Lucifer started scratching the demon's head, in between his antlers, which earned him a purr from the feared radio demon that was cuddled up to his chest like a child. 

Lucifer chuckled lightly at his lover's state, swearing to never let anyone disturb his peace.

I was raised on a farm with goats and one thing I know about horned creatures is they LOVE being scratched around the horns to the point that they will start demanding it by head butting.

So the idea of alastor absolutely going limp-noodle for head scratches physically won’t leave my brain.
