As a Spanish speaker, it stresses me out when I'm reading a yr fic and there are scenes of Simón speaking bad Spanish or speaking the language but with slang from other countries that are not Venezuela.

Please, if you don't speak Spanish but you want to add scenes in your fic of him speaking the language, ask a Spanish speaker to read them and correct them if necessary.

just remembered this will be wilmon’s first summer together….imagine wille picking simon up after work and taking him to the beach to spend the entire evening just swimming and eating clementines, or them having board games night with sara, felice, ayub and rosh. Imagine them having conversations about their future in bed or wille spending way too much nights at simon’s or them going to a little road trip with felice and sara for a few days 😭

I have to talk about Simon (and by proxy, Omar's acting) in this scene, which is the CUTEST Wilmon scene we've gotten imo and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it. How cat-like, needy, cuddly, and all over his man Simon is after Wille joins the choir. He's just a little kitten...acts of service are definitely his love language, the way he is all over Wille and nuzzling him after Wille joins the choir, this is so ENDEARING. I love them your honor.

Am I the only one that feels like Madison was done dirty by the finale? She is unknowingly dumped by Felice and not only gets lumped into the same category as Stella and Frederika, but will be stuck with them on the flight to NYC and left having to deal with their new couplehood for the summer. Did she really deserve that torture? Stredrika may have been going to NY for the sun, but Maddie was inviting Felice to her home.

Maddie openly recognized the reason Felice was struggling in S3.

She defended her over the school investigation. She seemingly tried to educate herself after Felice talked about how she was treated differently.

She stopped Stredrika from asking Sara inappropriate questions about Simon in S2. Is the only named side character shown to have actually engaged in conversation with Simon back in S1:

She gave Felice the BEST ADVICE EVER (which Felice did not take until later)

And, before anyone else, she openly expressed her utter disdain and contempt for August:

For that alone, Maddie deserved a happy ending.

So here's to her dumping Stella and Frederika somewhere in Manhattan and going home. It's not like she will ever have to see any of them again now that Hillerska is closed.

August getting the crown was a way to punish him for everything he's done

Since season 1 they have been repeating the same phrase "the crown is a privilege, not a punishment", Wille always felt the crown was a punishment while for August it was a privilege, when he still could not fully understand what it really meant to have it.

August had idealized the crown and Wille's life. Wille had his parents, he had Erik as a brother and he had the crown; In August's eyes, Wille had it all, but the reality was that Wille's life was much more complicated and stressful than August believed.

In his last conversation with Vincent and Nils, when August tells them that he is Wille's spare, his friends tell him something like "that's actually a bad thing, being just his cousin you enjoyed the privileges of being related to the royal family without the responsibilities, pressures, obligations, etc. This is going to be better for us because we are your friends and we can enjoy the privileges of being 'the friend of' but you are now going to have the entire burden of the title on your shoulders."

This is when the series shows us that that phrase that they had been telling us since season 1 was not true since the crown is a punishment.

Everything August believed the crown was was fantasy and idealization but the reality of what it means to be the crown prince is much more complex and harsh.

Wille managed to be free by leaving the crown and in a way imprisoning August. He could not report him to the police and have him go to jail for the crime he committed, but he could arrest him with that title and condemn him to an unhappy life.

Now Wille is free but August is not

A Simón spinoff

I would love to have a spinoff of Simón regaining his love for music and singing in public.

He dreamed of becoming a singer but now that he has seen the worst part of being a public figure he may question whether he prefers to become a musician or use his love for music for something else (be a music teacher for example).

I also thought that Young Royals revolves mainly around Wille and his process of discovering what he really wanted to do with his life which ended up being giving up his title, therefore his character arc is closed, his major problem was solved and one of the people who was key in helping him solve it was Simón. It could be so beautiful to see the roles reversed and Wille be the one who helps Simón discover what he wants to do with his life.

The love Wille's parents gave him was always conditional

Today I decided to make myself sad by overanalyzing the series so let's talk about the differential treatment that Wille and Erik's parents always had with their children

For me since s1 it was always quite obvious that Erik was the favorite child and Wille was treated as "the problem child."

The love that his parents gave him WAS ALWAYS CONDITIONAL, they only gave him love when he did what they asked of him and they treated him horribly when he did something that they (especially the queen) did not agree with. Erik was probably the one who always did what they asked of him and since he was the one who best fit the role of prince, it is most likely that he was the one who received the most affection and attention from his parents while with Wille it was the opposite.

Wille has always behaved like the typical boy whose parents only pay attention to him either when he does what they ask or when he does something "bad", otherwise they ignored him and that is why I think he clung so much to Erik.

Erik probably wasn't the perfect older brother that Wille said he was (we know he wasn't a good person either) but he was probably the only person in that whole family who gave Wille that minimum of affection that Wille needed and that's why he developed such a strong attachment towards him and that is why he idealized him so much.
