maeve and aimee have a sleepover

“I can’t believe we’ve never had a proper sleepover in all this time,” Aimme comments with a small scoff as she sets up a makeshift bed on the floor of her bedroom. The sun has barely set, but the two of them are getting comfortable as there’s no doubt they’ll simply attempt to pull an all-nighter yet somehow end up falling asleep halfway through whatever movie they choose to watch. Maeve isn’t complaining, though, not at all.

The girl isn’t even fully sure how she ended up here, Aimee had simply grabbed her hand at their lockers this morning and asked her to stay the night like “proper best friends” and the smile on her face had been too bright and beautiful to say no. She isn’t sure why she can never say no to Aimee, but it hasn’t gotten her in too much trouble yet so she supposes things are perfect the way they are.
