was watching a video essay about yellowjackets and i kind of realized something. (this might not make sense, i’m kinda dumb lol)

Taissa is very pragmatic, we kind of see this when she freezes out Allie. She’s using quite a cold tactic for Allie to get better and step up her game. However, we all know how that ends, Allies shin literally snaps. But in doing so, Tai saves her from the wilderness, saves her that trauma. Maybe that’s what will happen with Simone and Sammy? She’ll push them away harshly but in the end it will be for the better, they will never truly know what the ‘wilderness’ is because Taissa would’ve spared them, even if she has to leave them??
