just had a random flash of memory from my high school photography class, this portrait of a group of teenage girls at a lunch table looking at their phones. was re-staged several years later by the same photographer when the girls were now young women... i think it won some portrait prize or something. i dont know if i'll be able to find it
Out of all the characters released as part of the LEGO Super Mario series so far, the Baby Blooper (available as part of Wave 6) is the most simplistic in its construction, consisting only of 3 separate parts.

is it lilith or lillith? why did she sign lillith if its spelled with one l?
i really doubt she cant spell her own name bc her handwriting is too nice to be illiterate (its frickin cursive for gods sake) so did gearbox fuck up? is it an easter egg of some kind? did the graphic artist who signed as lil make an oopsie and thought it was funny?
are there more instances of this? this is the only time ive seen (read: noticed) where its spelled with two l's in any of the games
There is functionally no difference between doing something nice because you actually care and doing something nice because it makes you feel good or because you think you're obligated to.
A charity does not care if you're only donating because your religion says you should; either way, your money is still going to help people. That little old lady next door does not care if you only help her with gardening because being thanked makes you feel good, it's just nice to have some extra hands.
"Fake it til you make it," is a phrase for a reason but it's also okay if you NEVER make it, if you never feel the "correct" emotions behind your actions. Your thoughts and feelings matter considerably less than the impact your actions have on other people.
Meet the Mona Lisa of the Prado, the earliest known copy of Da Vinci’s best portrait. Similarity in the undersketch of the painting indicates that this was very likely painted concurrently with the original Mona Lisa, by a student of Da Vinci.
There is much controversy in the art world over the question of whether or not to clean the fragile Mona Lisa, but her sister has been restored and some fairly odd later alterations removed to show the original vibrant colors and lighting. Some details, such as the sheerness of her shawl and the pattern on the neckline of her dress, have become utterly obscured in the original, but in the restored copy they’re perfectly clear.
It blows my mind a little bit to look at these two sisters side-by-side and imagine how much vivid detail could be hiding in the Mona Lisa under 500 years of rotten varnish.
i do not remember uploading this and i apologize for my squawk-laughing in the background. my husband's laugh as he recorded is much more pleasing than my WRAAAAHHAH WBEWAAACKHWAA or whatever i did and i am sorry
i shit yall not, they started coming at me for housing my two ladies together, even as i was trying to explain that if maru and nori are separated they both lose their fucking minds (nori stops eating and maru tears their house apart) and i was literally FORCED to get them both bc nori already had MBD and didnt need it worse.
wouldnt even let me explain smh
hey guys just woke up and remembered the time i had a rando on tiktok say im abusing my geckos bc miss nori has physical therapy with an exercise saucer (MBD from before we got her) and ramen used a broken, not-working hamster wheel as a hide bc he liked sleeping under it and still seeing around him
