Pt2 of my NASA bs because I do what I want; just Texas being dragging into this by having been temporarily moved (kidnapped) by a CIA agent to a secret meeting room with no window, and he gets asked by someone in the shadows “Are we right to assume you have experience in mechanics?” And when Texas says “uh, yes?” he gets passed a folder telling him that the government chose him for a super secret project to build a space craft. At Texas’ reasonable reaction of “No way in hell, that’s not even /possible/ and you’re askin me of all people, /no/.” Virginia just leans in the doorway like” oh if we have to do it we can drag you into it. Misery loves company and you are joining us in it, I’ll show you around.”

Is there a German state that’d be the one to know enough about rocket to be kidnapped to work on the whole *slaps hood of moon* “this bad boy can fit so much flag” thing if you know what I mean (I’ve been just imagining the cast of states involved in the Apollo space program from NASA facility locations; Michigan, Cali and Texas on the electrical/mechanic/robotics work, Massachusetts, Alabama and Virginia on research, flight logistics and probably horrific quantities of math and physics, Florida and Mississippi there to test things out (Mississippi: “Imagine if this explodes” Texas, very tired, very stressed: “if it does I will cry”)- of these only like Virginia and Cali have long-time experience in aerospace flight stuff from NACA operations, everyone else was brought in after 1960, when else do you see this colorful crew being forced to work together, and they’re all working on a deadline that they couldn’t push back if they wanted to because space and USSR threats said so, it’s a grand time)

“Surprisingly, it'd be saxony/Markus, due to the DDR and BRD being at kinda "space war" due to ***insert last part of the & song from tally hall***. Saxony maybe would be the first one to fully be interested in it, due to the first German astronaut coming from there!

It's never fully stated which states are more interested in space, but there are several universities who are interested in space, but imma just list the ones who are more than once on there:

Finally after like a week of it being super cold out that it’s like “ugghh I don’t wanna have to go outsidee” in the Chicago area it’s been warming back up since around Saturday or so. Of course not like I personally am going outside because quarantine says I don’t have to, lol (has it been clearing up for y’all in Texas too? It must be real tough for people not used to cold to all of a sudden be hit with a ton of it for a long stretch of time)

Thankfully I have experienced snow before so my family was able to push through, and my neighborhood is behind a restaurant so our power didn’t get shut off like a lot of places did, our water system did freeze up a few times bough, but hopefully we can install the 2021 update and escape this

In all seriousness though things down here got pretty bad, luckily my town got the worse part over with but there’s still plenty of other towns who are still in a bad position, a lot of people have died due to the cold not to mention a car accident that involved 100 cars on the icy road, we don’t have the money, the time, or the energy to get the things y’all in the north have, yall really be acting like you have nothing to be proud of other than the civil war and too see and have to deal with people constantly telling me to “get over it” and see people say “well freeze then idk” just because they’ve dealt with negatives temps before, and I’ve seen the words “tbh they deserved it” I’m not one to get into politics very deeply but y’all seriously don’t understand that we are NOT a complete red state, stop acting like we are, there’s a lot of suppression that goes on down here, but this isn’t a political subject, this is a natural disaster for us, hurricanes don’t cause our generators to fuck up in the ways they have been, instead of pointing and laughing you could be helping, and to those who live in the northern states and have been helping by giving advice, I thank you, I have lived in the Midwest and Alaska myself, places with very cold weather, things change when the inside of your house matches the temperature of the outside, and a lot of people don’t even have a home to hide in in the first place, please go donate in you can, people here need help. And to add five german states

In the first pic bavaria is dressed up as the tyrannical king of watzmann who was turned to a mountain, he uses grey facepaint and dyed the cape to look like its rocky.

Next to his is saxony who for once in his life decided a bedsheet with two holes for eyes is a perfect costume. Its just cause he has gotten lazy and his hair is a worse sight to see atm

Wittenberg would turn into a werewolf due to it being full moon and would go halfway bezerk.

Lower saxony is dressed up as the german siren Lorelei and has now star glitter stuck in her hair.

Aaaand at last but not least the right one is Westphalia who is using the fact hes a vampire as his costume.

How do the states celebrate this spooky time of year and what are they dressing up as?
