Was eating breakfast and @askspades crossed my mind. I'm bad at communicating so we haven't talked in a bit, but I decided that a quick, 5-minute doodle would be a fun reminder.

Also, sorry that it's small blue, not 'yeena. I haven't done any anthro 'yeena studies yet and knew with good confidence I'd goof that pretty bad. ^^;

Sometimes I become so focused on being responsible for carrying my own load, to not inconvenience others by their needing to stop and relieve me, that I have become guilty of trying to hide when I am having a difficult time.

It would do for me to remember that help, support and encourage can come freely without others needing to take up my load. Sometimes all a problem needs is a fresh set of eyes.

Sometimes the cart must be adjusted, unloaded, repaired, but maybe that is another story for another day.

How does one ask for help without being a burden to others?

How does one unlearn the instinct to politely dismiss all external offers of support? To consider oneself worthy of time and effort? 

How does one find the line between self care and selfishness? Between independence and indulgence?

Where does one even begin?

Truly, it feels more validating to help others than to help oneself. Have I been being selfish all along?
