Guys I RUSHEDDD to tumblr after watching last nights episode.

I have to say- the whole doctor thing was goofy as hell but the episode as a whole was beautifully shot, had some nice intense moments, the Chucky puppet looked amazing, and everyone put everything into their acting(except Alex Vincent. I still need him to take some classes. I love him though). The sets also were hella nice and it felt good to see something other than just the inside of a house all the time. It just looked so good. And the sweet moments between Caroline and Chucky? Look, I’m not gullible. I know Chuckys main thing is tricking kids but I feel like after he tried to transfer souls with her in her sleep that that was the end of him trying to betray her. I mean in seed he wanted to be a good dad that bonded with his kids over killing but never ended up getting that with Gigi so I mean it’s not too out of character

And something about the end they shared seemed so…sincere…even for Chucky. It made me tear up a bit ngl.

And I mean the Bride of Chucky anniversary was on the 16th so it makes sense that this episode would focus on sorta ‘the end’ of Chucky and Tiffany. Which it sucks….but I know if Tiff gets that doll body back they’ll call it truce with a make out sesh 🙄🖤

Hmm after tonight’s episode I kinda have to admit that I’m upset they killed off Ms.Fairchild so early on without any explanation of her character. At the end of season 2 we learned that she knew Chucky was alive but her involvement with the whole thing or an explanation as to why she knew in the first place was never told to us.

And I mean in the real world 100% if a bunch of crimes were happening around me and a doll was involved in pretty much all of them I would suspect the doll as well. But I mean why make it such a big deal that she knew Chucky was alive if you weren’t going to give her any kind of backstory or development with the characters at all, ya know? I’ve never really cared about anyone Chucky kills but hey at least make us feel a liiiiittle attached or something.

Other than that I like this season so far.

Ok- I have no fucking clue how after 18 years of watching Seed of Chucky that I did not realize that the rap Chucky was listening to while driving AND that plays in the end credits is not just a parody of in the club but a whole song about Chucky. I just thought I’d say this for all the dumbasses on twitter or social media in general-

For those who don’t know Ed Gale was recently involved in a sting where he was revealed to be a child predator who talked to at least 10 kids before he was caught. Due to his health he was not arrested. Which I think is bullshit. Ed Gale has many many acting credits but to horror fans he was the one who played Chucky in the first movie in Chuckys moving around scenes(Alex’s sister also played this part)

This is bad news for us Chucky fans. Cause not only does this put an even more negative look on horror it also means people out there think Ed STILL plays Chucky till this day. As far as everyone knows he only played Chucky in Child’s Play(the og. I also looked in his IMBD to see if he played him in any of the other movies. But he doesn’t.) I seen some people on Twitter talking about how they’ll never watch another Chucky movie again because of his involvement. When a quick google search could reveal that bro only played him once.

But what I think is the worst of it? People are confusing him and Brad Dourif. The VOICE of Chucky. Brad doesn’t deserve that. Literally mfs need to be smarter before saying random stuff.

Ed is a disgusting human being and should be sent to prison for his crimes. I could care less about his involvement in my favorite franchise. If bro was a poc he was getting locked up asap.

So glad I’m not the only one that hates these things. I knew they would be shit from the teaser we got of them awhile back. Tiffany could’ve had a gorgeous wedding gown with her leather jacket. Instead they gave her cheap homecoming dress with an ugly print all over it. I HATE the face and hair. Why did she need long hair? And why are her cheek bones so pronounced?!??

As for Chucky? They could’ve made the overalls more fitted and gave her giant bell bottoms or something to match the shirt. The makeup is basic and boring, the hair is plain Jane(could’ve at least given her a mullet), and in most pictures she looks ORAAAAANNGE. But I mean Chukcy is sometimes very very tan so I’ll forgive the last part.

They literally look like whenever people don’t put any effort at all into Halloween costumes and throw on random stuff they have and ‘we’re chucky and Tiffany’

I’m a huge Bowser and Peach fanatic-

But ima say something controversial yet everyone may agree or disagree whatever!

Bowsette is a horrible genderbend design!

Yes, yes I know that everyone misinterpreted the crown thing involving toadette blah blah blah which is the main reason why people dislike Bowsettes design(not to mention the over sexualization of the character.)But I’m mostly mad at the fact that there is no creativity in her design. Whenever I decided I wanted to cosplay a female bowser I took to looking up references of Bowsette to strike up ideas and I got none. Cause her design is just so plain and boring. Not to mention if I had no idea who Bowsette was I’d just think ‘oh it’s an..evil peach..?’ Because she straight up just looks like peach wearing all black. there are barely any Bowser components in there.

I decided to say this cause the Bowsette character died a long time ago but I’ve been seeing a slow come back of her on tik tok. So please for the love of God LET HER DIE AGAIN OR GIVE HER A BETTER DESIGN

Predator 2 theory:

My theory for this movie is that the City Hunter is none other than us:the viewer, following a bad blood. I like to think that he hadn’t even gone through his Chiva and managed to steal his equipment from another yautja somehow, board a ship to earth, and just go around being an idiot.

It’s the only way to explain his blatant disregard for protocol and rules. Bro got spotted by at least 50 people, ran through a busy apartment building and caused havoc on a subway. Even climbed a Gawdamn building and screamed at the top of his lungs. The only rules he followed were him not harming Leona and or sparing those without guns.

It’s so funny to think about. Cause I bet everyone else in yautja community talked about this for weeks.

I just saw Megan last night and all I have to say is…

FUCKING FINALLY!

Finally a killer doll movie that DOESN’T pride itself on trying not to be Chucky. I’m pretty sure killer doll movie creators were tired of hearing that their doll wasn’t ‘Chucky’ enough cause it did literally nothing the whole movie so for a creator to actually listen to what we want is just *chefs kiss*

Ok, now enough About Chucky.

Megan(I’m not spelling it in that other stupid way 🙄) was a joyride from the moment that we were introduced to her as nothing but a seemingly poor project! The small bit of exposition didn’t bother me much cause I could feel I would have a good time regardless when Megan would actually join in the movie. It was campy, fun, and sometimes even predictable which didn’t bother me all too much. I felt like intentions of Megan were clear from the start but we as the viewer had to watch from Megan’s pov exactly what she was capable of even before she got to the actual killing.

I’m pretty sure no one really cared about the humans in this movie and think megan could do a stand alone movie and do her own thing but I think that’s completely false due to the fact that I LOVED the scenes of her interacting with Gemma and Cady. It really showed you how this this device essentially was friendly and over enthusiastic to whoever it was paired with but very monotone, snarky, and manipulative to anyone else, refusing to act like the second one whenever the primary user was present. MUCH like how devices in the real world act with children and their parents that shouldn’t have gotten them said device in the first place. 11/10.

Let’s talk about the backstory of the saddest character in Chucky history.

Jennifer tilly.

Literally she may have had a more traumatic experience than Andy Barclay. First, she was forcibly inseminated, held captive in her room, had her agent set on fire, had a potential love interest stabbed, and forced to live in the body of one of the dolls that caused her all that heartache. That’s not even the worst of it all. Let’s not forget that the babies she gave birth to had their souls essentially killed to make room for Glen and Glenda who didn’t even want the bodies in the first place. Literally it probably was a trauma trip all over again when she saw Glen in the body of her child that didn’t even get to live their lives :/

Ight so my overall season review!

6.5/10

Of course I was absolutely SAT for every goddamn episode and was left wondering what would happen next Wednesday.It was a wave of nostalgia that hit me every moment it got and I am NOT mad about it. I could tell that unlike season 1 this was a tribute to Dons Chucky movies that he filmed(Seed, curse, etc.). Basically season 1 was meant to drag in those that know the childs play movies og tone. And season 2 was for the actual die hard fans.

Now that that’s out of the way I just have to say that there was absolutely no real plot. Season 1s whole plot was that Chucky was doing the things he did for his army of himself. And this season just was about…trying to kill him off for good? Which they didn’t even succeed in? As for Jake, Devon, And Lexi?? They had NO part in this season if I’m being honest- it was mostly just showing how Chucky is the reason they are having all these problems in their life now. Like I’m sorry but- I’m pretty sure me, and the audience were mostly focused on the show stealers which was the Ray family drama all together. Whenever Tiffany, Chucky, and Glen/Glenda/GG were in a scene I was hanging onto every word. Then it would go back to the ‘main characters’ and I would kinda drift out of it.

Not including Nadine. Nadine was also a show stealer.

I think Dr.Mixter was a sorta good side villain but I really didn’t think we needed anymore unnecessary backstory in Charles Lee Rays life, ya know? Other than that I’m proud of Tiffany’s development. But very very angry about the ending. Chucky used some sort of glamour to replicate his face into the Belle dolls..? I mean it’s a twist alright.. but ‘kill off’(we didn’t see it on screen nor did we see her die so I’m adding quotes). Sure. Anyways can’t wait to see Jennifer next season.

But let’s talk about the real highlight of the entire show that alone would earn it a Grammy in my eyes.
