I see you made it for Inktober too! Thank you for including my AU for your month challenge. I’m just squealing over Shuichi and Kaede gushing over each other. And seeing Kyoko and Makoto together watching over the two warms my heart so much!!!! I’m pretty sure these two are surprised seeing an old friend again interacting with one of their students! And seeing Byakuya and Touko interacting made me laugh. That’s their relationship in a nutshell to say the least.

I’d recommend not always drawing full pictures for the answers to asks, but instead draw half body pictures for all the characters with different expressions and only use those. Just use the full pictures for special events and stuff, I guess.

So my friend told me that this was based off of an anime (besides danganronpa) when I told her about it, and when I explained the bit about kaede in shuichi’s bathroom, she said that this is definitely based off of a anime, so is this true?

To be perfectly honest, I don’t watch much mermaid anime than I wanted to (the only anime that I can remember off the top of my head that features mermaids/ water creatures were pichi pichi pitch and Blue Submarine no. 6 ^-^’). The AU was actually inspired by the disney movie ‘the little mermaid’ and heavily on del Toro’s “The Shape of Water.” (which I highly recommend). But it could be similar to the anime your friend was talking about. I mean this is a common thing/trope. Now I wanna watch that anime your friend talked about. ^w^
