my constant struggle with books is whether or not to get the translated version in my mother tongue.  bc on one hand sometimes i am too tired to translate stuff in my head on the other hand reading books in their original version hits differently ( & i am able to tell their actual quotes and speech patterns if i want to pick them up as a muse )

watching the e.xpanse has me actually rlly wondering how the hell the delinquents & arkers in general didn’t have problem with a. the gravity bc even spin gravity wouldn’t be able to be a 1g more like 1/3 or 2/3 of a g and they would actually have developed differently even if it wasn’t too many generations to make a big difference the ark born generations would still have less dense bones,  b. the light didn’t bother them when they were raised on artificial light and c. how they weren’t disoriented by the horizon bc it’s vastly different to be raised in a space station
