Sebbie my sweet, I had shared this idea with a fellow friend earlier and thought you might get a kick out of it too (lol).

You and Rhett have taken care of the chores for the day, the house has been cleaned and the baby animals in the ranch's nursery have all been put down for a late afternoon nap, leaving the two of you to do as you please.

You two are wandering through the back field where the wildflowers are all in bloom, seeing as it's the threshold of summer. You pull the skirt of your dress up just enough to flash your pale pink lace panties at Rhett who by this point is completely incapable of keeping his hands off you. The two of you end up getting thoroughly fucked in that back field, more so when hundreds of the dandelions begin shedding their seeds (you and Rhett were a giggling mess when the seeds started to tickle the both of you, but he was oh so gentle when he blew them all over your naked body).

But unbeknownst to you until dinnertime, your in-laws found out where you had been that day and couldn't help but laugh, especially Royal.

"Funny story son, that was the same field where your Ma and I did the nasty when we were tryin to have you"

Only for his father to ask for help with one fence and suddenly it’s late in the afternoon, cornbread is cooking, and you’re helping to set cracked porcelain plates and water-stained glasses on the worn kitchen table. Rhett’s sheepish gaze when he came in, sweat-slicked from the Wyoming sun, knowing his mistake without your reminder. Those deep sapphire eyes asking for forgiveness you always gave. In any other setting you enjoy the hustle of the ranch. Animals to tend to, a home to bring warmth into, and the endless errands to keep it all running. Your own home, a tiny clapboard barely larger than Rhett’s truck, was always humming with activity. And animals. You weren’t sure how your boyfriend kept bringing home creatures to care for in the cramped living room. Bags were being loaded into the truck already when Rhett finally decided that the finch he’d rescued in the driveway was strong enough to fly by itself. Released into the wild as he brought the ancient pickup to life for the long drive.

@bradshawsbaby Literally wait until this summer and you will see the shenanigans unfolding before your very eyes (lol).

Sarah my dearest I hope this isn't too much and I know Yellowstone's not everybody's thing but I had this awesome and oh so hilarious crossover idea that I desperately wanted to share with you.

Joy and Martha Hawk have a cabin on the lake that they go to spend summers at so the Abbotts and the Duttons all convene en masse with them to spend summer up at the cabin/camp. There's tons of stuff for the grown ups to do but when the kids are all turned loose in the woods after breakfast? Let the shenanigans ensue (lol).

-The kids were outside for hours and didn't come home till it was almost sunset because they were playing Lord Of The Rings and they had to take the ring to Mordor. Turns out, Mordor was on the other side of the lake and it would have been at least a two and a half hour hike there and back.

-Dinner was on the barbecue and the kids came back covered in what their parents thought was mud until the guys realized it wasn't. Rhett immediately was like "ALRIGHT EVERYBODY GET IN THE LAKE!!! IT'S BATHTIME!!!"

-The kids took their boogie boards out of the storage bin under the deck and proceeded to downhill sled into the lake. Rhett said the first kid that made it ten feet across the lake would get twenty bucks.

-Rip, Rhett, Kayce, Jimmy, Ryan, Colby and Billy Tillerson decided they were all gonna play "arrow roulette" in the woods with an actual bow and arrow set. Everybody scattered when it went into the sun and Billy just stayed put. Poor clueless bastard ended up taking an arrow to the foot and by the time he got back, the wives were all looking at them like "You dumbasses clearly have a death wish".

-Rhett fell asleep one day and Amy and Rosie Hawk decided they were gonna do his makeup. He woke up and was horrified and when Joy and Martha asked the girls what happened, they said they were trying to make him look like a pretty princess.

-You and Rhett hadn't realized that Joy's dad, Art, had the same set of VHS tapes at the cabin from the mid-80s and the kids had all somehow gotten their hands on "The Empire Strikes Back". They were all wearing their bedsheets and bike helmets like Darth Vader and were out in the yard using sticks for lightsabers.

-There was a full moon when everybody went camping and the kids and the dogs were all outside howling at it just as the sun was going down.

Sarah I could keep going but I'm afraid it'd be too long (lol).

Ahaha, I admit that I don’t watch Yellowstone or know all that much about it beyond the basics, but this certainly sounds like a fun time for all involved 😂

Oooooh I think my first might have been Lord Of The Rings, I was a senior in high school but I didn't post any of it and frankly I'm glad I didn't, it was kinda bad (lol).

What’s your favorite fanfic trope?  Have you written it?

It's a tossup between "Married with Kids" or "Parents embarrassing the shit out of their married kids". I've written this multiple times for Outer Range because I love the thought of Royal and Cecelia embarrassing the shit out of Rhett in front of wifey (lol).

Do you have a guilty pleasures in fic (reading or writing)?

I honestly can't think of any off the top of my head, if I do I'll let people know (lol).

How would you categorize your fanfic reading?  Are you a voracious reader?  Do you carefully pick and choose?  Something in between?

For me it's something in between. I try really hard to read but sometimes I find writing is alot easier. I don't like being selective about what I read in the TGM or Outer Range fandoms but man there are some pretty heavy things I have a hard time reading so I tend to gravitate towards the lighter stories.

You're the best Sebbie and I love you for it!!! Spring is officially here in this corner of the States so the cottagecore thoughts/thots are everywhere (lol).

Sebbie??? Perhaps some thoughts/thots to curb the boredom?? I totally feel that though, I'd love nothing more than to go ride my bike with my friends and make like we're gonna go find One-Eyed-Willie's treasure.

You and Rhett love to run barefoot through the woods with each other, feeling the grass and the cool, squidgy mosses under your feet as you climb over the rocks and fallen logs. He loves seeing you in your pretty spring dresses, gathering up all the flowers in the little pink basket he got you for Easter. Sometimes he'll hide little treasure boxes in your favorite spots in the woods for you to find, one of which contained yours and his wedding rings when you got married.

And when you started welcoming your kids into the family, you and him started hiding them in the woods for your children to find, in the hopes they would continue it when they had children of their own.
