I’ll call a guy Monday.” Reluctantly, you draw your eyes from his lower half. Just as his words sink in. “It’s broken?!” Robert gives you a confused, yet amused grin. “Sweetheart, did you hear anything I said?”

most of my fics are song lyric titles so they kind of don't count even if they're clever, though i will say using "heart attack in black hair dye" for the clothes swap mistaken identity fic was pretty inspired, albeit inspired by a joke shelternmberone made first. all my 2023 whumptobers had mcr titles, so there's a few zingers in there.

(honorary mention for "half your life you've been hooked on death", which is a stealth pun on the fact that wolfwood gets impaled with specifically a harpoon. i was a bit funny with that one, too.)

one of my favorites i did come up with was "playing cards with the elephant in the room" which was the working title for that fic and was just too good of a mixed metaphor to change. really hit the nail on the head in re the "you know i know you know i know you know i know but we're never going to talk about it, ever" of trimax vashwood. the fic's pretty good, too. concentrated vashwood from tip to tail, that one.

I don't fully understand the context of this one; all I know is that my brother was telling me about an acronym that had school in the name, but because I didn't understand it fully, I just responded with...that 😅

What's a weird fact that you know?

This isn't really weird, it's more fascinating.

So you know Shredder? You know, the de facto villain of TMNT? His name was inspired by a cheese grater.

So if you want, we can call him Cheese Grater to kind of lower his coolness/insanity factor if you want to. 😅

Are you a morning person or a night owl?

Honestly, neither! I take forever to get up and I can be pretty grumpy in the morning, and I tend to fall asleep fairly early - generally 11 pm or earlier.

Favorite place to nap?

Probably my living room couch. I tend not to sleep for 8+ hours when I sleep there, as opposed to my bed where such a thing will definitely occur 😅

Are you a member of the LGBTQ+ community?

I am! I'm cisgender and use she/her pronouns, but I'm openly bisexual and I've identified as such since 2021. 😌

Describe yourself in three words.

There are many words, but I have to choose...

'ey Ainz, what made you fall head over heels for Elise?

Same question can go for Kazuya and Mishra, if you two also want to give your thoughts.

AINZ: "Ah... it wasn't entirely an immediate 'love at first sight' emotional reaction, so to speak; our attraction happened over time. In Yggdrasil- or whatever name this new world we're apart of might be known as- Elise is a Sylph Queen Archfey, which means their kind are highly sought after for sport by non-grotesque races. Humans, to be blunt. They'd lost their wings in a scuffle far more bloody than it should have been- they were quite literally ripped out from their back- and due to the magic of being transported into the world itself, they lost the ability to regenerate them that they normally would have had. Quite literally, Elise was left with stumps protruding out from their shoulder blades where their wings should have been, and it was easy to discern how traumatic of a moment that was, and what impact it left on them. You're more than likely asking yourselves at this moment, 'what does this have to do with how you fell in love with them?'- and it happens to be how they learned to adapt afterwards. Losing an enormous part of what makes someone what they were would normally cause someone to spiral into a mindset of doubt on all sides, but not Elise. My beloved Archfey was determined to find some way- any way- to get their wings back, or find a way to fly without them. Their unrelenting tenacity and refusal to give up despite the trauma sparked something within me, and they revealed everything to me one night when they were in a more vulnerable state- and that was when I knew I felt so much more for them that I could rightfully explain. Even without the light of their wings, their beauty still shone brighter than anything in Yggdrasil." MISHRA: "Truthfully, I'd known it since we were in our teens. Elise was the first person to form an actual connection with me when Urza and I arrived at Tocasia's camp, and we quite literally became inseparable in a matter of weeks. While I didn't say it until much later on, I knew I loved them the night that my brother and I...our stones caused Tocasia's death. They ran after me, begging to follow me wherever I went, no matter where it was. God, I wanted to tell them to come with me so badly, but I tried to say that they still belonged at the dig site. They had more going for them than I did, they could make something of themselves there. But when Elise broke down into tears, denouncing everything and declaring that they belonged with me? Saying they'd literally give up everything so they could stay by my side? That was the moment I knew I was a goner. I would never let them go, and that was a promise I would keep forever. And I did." Hey all! It’s my birthday today and although it’s getting late, I wanted to make a little post on here to celebrate with an ask game! As my follower count has been on the rise lately (which I am incredibly flattered and humbled by; pornbots excepted) I thought it would be right to start an ask game about my writing.

(For any of you who are new to my page - hi! I’m Lynn! It’s lovely to have you here. I write mostly Band of Brothers but I’ve got a little Lord of the Rings there, too. Make yourself at home. 💕)

We are honestly starting off strong, this is lowkey the question I was most excited to answer tbh!

A Kind of Dwell and Welcome by @leupagus- I literally love this fic so much that I bought a physical copy and I intend to be buried with it.

The Heart Rate of A Mouse by Anna Green- Yes I know this isn't really OFMD or Ted Lasso, and I'm not really into P!ATD or any of the bands in it anymore, but this is the fic that made me fall in love with fanfiction in general. I read it the whole way through when I was about 13, and I have never been the same since.

Taking Things by @ripkarl- I mean we've probably all read this one so I don't even need to sell it to you guys lmao but yeah this fic is fucking brilliant. I have cried so many happy-tears over it.

A Laughing Matter and Silk Cobwebs by Mxwicked- I couldn't pick just one because I love both of these equally, but they're both so soft and sweet, I love stories where Ed and Stede are really sweet in taking care of each other

I'm so upset because there was this really REALLY adorable Ted/Trent ficlet I found on tumblr a while back, and now for the life of me I can't remeber what it was called/who wrote it- it was an AU where Ted worked on some sort of customer service hotline and Trent calls about a broken dishwasher, it wasn't very long but it was very sweet and funny and I liked how in-character Ted and Trent were. Does anyone know what I'm talking about or is this just a strange fever dream I had..?

I'm gonna be honest - neither 😅 I'm a mess when I wake up (and it will take me a while to physically get up,) and I fall asleep fairly early - generally 11 pm or earlier. But if I have to choose, I'd have to say I'm a night owl.

I can only really fall asleep in two places; my bed or the living room couch. But again, if I had to choose, I'd go with the couch for a nap, since I can actually nap and not sleep for 8+ hours like in my bed 😅

9. one sentence sneak peek at drafts?

I’ll gift you the opening for Of Kings and Kingmakers — the bodyguard au fic for Alpha Beta. It’s unfinished and at a total of 25 pages currently.

There was almost an entire consensus about how men of muscle were held in high regard for protection, for power, but when machine-built mechanized men arose, the playing field tilted in favor of the machine, especially at the likes of Ridley’s newly acquired protection — Alpha Beta.

12. are there any drafts you favor more over others?

At this current time, not really? When it comes to ideas I either take my time writing them or just knock that shit out in the matter of days if I can — stuff that I’ve posted that hasn’t been on my works in progress list usually stems from a concept that just wouldn’t leave me be so I had to exorcise it from myself through writing and posting to get some goddamn peace
