sooo funny to see older kh fandom posts as someone who started playing kh in like 2020 I feel like a historian. Seeing a stolen art piece on Pinterest and going “from the watermark and artstyle I can understand this is a post-BBS pre-DDD era depiction of blorbus and bingus, however, some remnants of binguses KH2 fanon depiction are still prevelant here (more specifically, the depiction of him popularized by bingus/gronku, a heavily popular pairing at the time), and the complete absence of krinko from the supposed ‘group’ shot implies some distaste for her, which was not uncommon for the time period. From this we can assume that the artists was a bingus X gronku shipper who likely transitioned to blorbus X bingus after BBS or Days, and dislikes krinko due to an era-typical misinterpretation of events. Elementary.”

I’m glad I got this part done because this is the easy bit. In order to do all the other (moving!!!) mask effects in capcut I need to

Extract the sections frames from the og AMV

Trace each frame in procreate 

Make all the mask layers/assets (the alt colors)

Make each alternate mask ‘side’ in CapCut (outside of color/etc they should be exactly identical)

Extract THESE frames. 

Mash the sides and the mask frames together in procreate

Insert the final vid as a video clip in the AMV (pray it syncs with the audio) 

I have to do this six separate times with six separate sections I have no hope for the resolution being half decent. And I’m not even talking about the animated sections It’s um. So over. But I persist nonetheless ‼️‼️💪

anyone else think it’s absolutely awesome that data-soras more of a traditional nobody to sora than roxas ever was and by having Data-Sora grow a heart through the acknowledgment of his own sense of self seperate from og-Sora and the bonds sustained through Donald/goofy the game not only serves as a chronological transition between kh2/DDD but also as an ideological transition between only special nobodies getting emotions and all nobodies having the potential for them. Or am I just codedpilled

i use halos pretty frequently, theyre a good framing device and since i mostly post kh fanart light is a pretty important thing to focus on. Generally im a big fan of other holy/religious/worship thingy even if the work itself isnt inherently making any connections to religion (*clenches fist* it about the blind devotion, and lifting something up until it is holy) , if i was any good at drawing animals i would use predator/prey and other animal related thingys but what can you do lol.
