The amount of misinformation around the Crowded Room I see on Twitter and on here is sickening. The show doesn't portray awful stereotypes of DID, the show doesn't stigmatise people with DID. The show doesn't portray people with DID as bad.

The Character Tom Holland is playing is a far cry from Billy Milligan. The character Tom Holland is playing is not a rapist, he has never abused or raped anyone. The character Tom Holland is playing is a victim of child sexual abuse whose only "crime" was to try to hurt the piece of shit who hurt him and that doesn't make him a bad person.

This story is just so touching and you can tell the writers approached it with care and compassion.
