YALL! I cannot stop thinking about this so you get my brain dump today. Leo would be such a dangerous villain!

I know they all could be in their own ways. But Leo’s way is pretty scary to me. He’s the face man. A people person. A mask. He can be whatever the hell he needs or wants to be. He just needs motivation.

I mean seriously guys he outwitted Big Mama!

So imagine this. You’re a “bad guy” right, fighting the turtles. Why? Who knows. Maybe you needed to get something from them to pay off a debt to Big Mama or the foot. Big shenanigans ensue, whatever, you’re tied up and captured. Oh well, guess paying off that debt isn’t gonna be easy.

Leo takes one look at you, and without once breaking character around his brothers offers to portal you to the jail himself and make sure you’re arrested. Strange since they literally have you stuck in one place but ok.

Once he’s walked past his brothers, back turned to them so they can’t see his face, his smile changes in a way that sets alarm bells off in your head. The change was subtle, but unsettling regardless. You try not to think too much of it, he’s a hero. Heroes follow good person codes. He’s not gonna hurt you any more than you’ve already been injured during the fight. You’re defeated. That’s that.

Leo’s brothers turn and leave while Leo opens a portal, waves bye to them probably with some dumb pun and kicks you through. You fall and land flat on your face somewhere unfamiliar and cold, and the portal closes behind Leo as he joins you.

You’re stuck with Leo. Great. He’s gonna joke you to death.

But then it strikes you, this isn’t Jail. Where did he take you? I dont know, but I’d imagine it would be a “the middle a nowhere” situation. Somewhere there’s nobody around to help if you get into trouble. When you look to Leo to ask where you are, he’s watching you up close, a taunting smile on his facing telling you he’s more than won. He looks down on you.

Now about what you’d expect would happen next. He taunts you with some dumb jokes, questioning things like your motivation to go after seemingly random item, why is item important, some more taunts, etc. But the calmness in his tone and the nonchalant attitude feels more sharp than usual.

Be careful it feels like it warns.

So you do your usual, lie, of course he sees past it, he’s good at lies after all, add a small truth to the lie, make it feel real, then divert. Leo still doesn’t buy, he circles you, this feels weird, give sob story about what happened, try to win sympathy, something so he will just arrest you and leave you alone already. I mean you’ve already lost for mayhems sake. He lies in front of you so he can look you in the eye at eye level since you can’t get up. His eyes are scary cold.

Then he starts telling you what you want to hear. Maybe it’s “you can be a good guy too” or he can “clear that debt”, but it’s something both of you know you want or need, he just wants a favor of his choosing in return. But something still feels off. Knowing who you’re in debt to in the first place, you probably have experience with sweet lies, so you would know better than to immediately fall for it.

But that’s your biggest mistake.

He never once drops his smile, the jokes, the Leo. But he is the face man, and he has many to wear.

Instead of just being convinced easy or whatever it was he was trying, he’s toying with you now. Effortlessly picking out your insecurities, fears and problems with that taunting smile, and his sense of humor adapting to be sicker as he continues to poke and prod at a very vulnerable part of you you didn’t know you had. All just to watch you squirm while he laughs at you. This really doesn’t feel like something a hero should do.

He’s got you in his grasp and there’s nothing you can do. That’s when he sits up and picks up that Katana he never once put back away since you both ended up here, and nicks your cheek with it for fun.

He reminds you that he just wants a simple favor, while he uses his sword to cover half his face, reflecting half of yours, and a small string of your blood that gets carried down the blade by gravity. The same as the blood dripping down your face. He’s reminding you you’re alone with him as he smiles back down at you.

Nobody, not one person has ever mentioned this side of Leo to you. You have to remind yourself, he’s a hero, hero’s live by good person codes. But that starts to feel more like a way to comfort yourself as Leo keeps talking. His jokes are starting to feel like threats.

Horrible thing could happen “wouldn’t that be funny?”

I’d imagine that if you had the guts to fight the turtles once you probably would try again in this situation. At very minimal to get away from creepy ninja turtle here, so you probably kick some dirt or dust in his face and try to roll away like that will do anything.

He stops you with his foot, no longer in the place you literally just saw him seconds ago. He takes the very dirt you kicked at him, and wipes it across your eyes and wound with a painful sting. And you can hear the metal of the katana scrape as it drags across the ground next to your head.

He’s wearing the face of a villain now, and it’s clear he hasn’t had this much fun in awhile. You’re in danger.

He’s a hero. Doesn’t feel like it. He goes by good person codes. Right? Are all his brothers like this? Do they even know?

I dont know what he’d need to do or say, but he gets that promise out of you for a favor. Then you’re thrown in the safety of jail, no trace of what happened left behind besides a newly cleaned wound on your cheek.

No wonder you were sent with the promise of that debt being cleared, they didn’t want to mess with the turtles. It makes you wonder, if maybe they simply didn’t wanna mess with Leo.

Who else has Leo “requested” favors from? You don’t know. Since you know if you talk, especially if Leo finds out, you aren’t gonna run into the “hero” face a second time. It’s likely anyone else would have had the same treatment.

Wow this post has gotten so freaking long just from me brainstorming this in the middle of the night. Let me know if you want more of why I think Leo would make a good villain.

I hate the obsession with making things perfect. Post your bad art. Look at it and know its bad and post it because who gives a shit. Maybe your an awful artist. I know a lot of my comic is stiff and crooked and drawn wrong, but I don't care because it was fun to make and fun to share and when I look back when I'm just a little bit better I'm going to be so happy with how far I've come, even if its just learning how to lay out panels correctly. Stop demonizing your old art! Yes it looks like shit WHO. CARES. Your skill in art does not define your worth! Just AGHDHDKFK even if you don't post it don't throw it away don't look at it in shame look at it like oh my gosh I just make a thing. You just made a thing, aren't you proud?

I’m convinced that Master Splinter knew what he was saying to Donnie was utter bullshit, but seeing as how intelligent and temperamental Donnie was he knew he couldn’t just unleash this turtle onto the world without some sort of fail-safe.

So for the sake of humanity he would discretely try to convince Donatello that he was a peaceful turtle at heart.

Mostly so Donnie wouldn’t try to take over the world when he got older.
