I don't get why Bridgerton season 2 chose to do a love triangle that pitted 2 sisters against each other over a man when that does not happen in the book. TVWLM is enemies to lovers. Why didn't the show stick to just the enemies to lovers trope??

I think season 2 of Bridgerton already came out when I started watching the show. But somehow I still felt like the promo I saw online when I looked for season 2 was lacking compared to what season 3 is getting. At least I can see from what others are saying that season 2 did in fact get way less. Even if press was limited due to the pandemic, they could have done more. JB, Simone, and Charithra did interviews together. Some of those interviews could have been just JB and Simone. Especially after the season came out and everyone knew who Anthony ended up with. They had an in person premiere. If they could have that with the pandemic, they could have done a poster and a vogue shoot. I don't want to feel bitter about what season 3 is getting, but it's a bit hard when I see everything that season 2 did not get.

I've been thinking about how we've seen 3 dresses for Kate. Only 3. I have a bad feeling that Kanthony won't be in season 3 much and it makes me very sad. They didn't get to be happy together until the very end. If this was a one off movie then in the end the two people realize they love each other they get their happy ending and the movie ends and you move on. But Bridgerton has more seasons! We know they went on a 6 month honeymoon so we know they are happy together and finally doing something for themselves. But let us see it too! Let us see them being happy and married and in love!!!! They didn't allow themselves to be together until the very end of season 2. The season was written so that Kathony were only married and able to love each other scandal-free for the last like 15 minutes. I want more than 1 or 2 episodes of them being a happy married couple. I'd also like to see Kate becoming part of the family. But maybe that's too much to ask for.

Also, if Kathony are pushed off to the side will the same happen to P0lin in season 4?
