True! I don't see the point of liking complicated characters if you're just gonna ignore what makes them complicated.

I don't think there's anything wrong with liking Kusuke - I do too, he's an interesting character - but I keep coming across people who genuinely seem to think there's nothing grim about him which is like???

Yes, he did buy a house for his family, but he also riddled it with cameras (at least I assume so, judging by how he's often shown watching them on a screen).

Yes, he made Kusuo his limiters, but he also added a feature that made it impossible for Kusuo to refuse his games without his powers being exposed.

Every act of love is also a grab for control. Yeah, he isn't completely and utterly evil, but nobody is.

Saiki's Revival

My Sims had their work cut out for them after Saiki's untimely death.

the only way to bring him back was to feed his ghost Ambrosia, which can only be made using a Life Fruit, a Death Fish, and a very high cooking skill.

Akechi and Kusuke got to work on their cooking and gardening skills respectively. Even though they were technically the ones to carry out the murder (Akechi by accident) this seems to make them all the more determined to be the ones to bring him back.

But even though both of them worked very hard, Nendou was the real hero. He worked day and night to practise the fishing skill, not even the police could dissuade him! He also befriended Saiki's ghost..

And stayed talking to him until the sun rose...

It was all very emotional.

Once Nendou had caught a death fish (i had to age him up so the police wouldn't get him 😭) and Teruhashi had helped Kusuke to grow a life fruit (she used her magical fairy powers when Kusuke wasn't looking bc she knew he wouldn't accept help), Akechi made the dish. There was one mishap when he accidentally used the fish to make dim sum and I had to cheat to unfreeze the pond so that Nendou could catch another one before next year, but we got there eventually!

Then was the matter of actually giving it to Saiki. Problem is, he is picky as FUCK. After chasing him around the graveyard for a while, I finally got him to eat it...

AND HE WAS BACK

Everyone was so excited to see him again -they had so much to tell him, like the time Nendou and Teruhashi had briefly dated, and how Kaido was now a werewolf, and how Akechi had got into a fight at the prom...

... and Saiki listened to them all. From that day on, he never snubbed any of them again. ❤️

Btw I'd just like to add that the little witch by Saiki's grave was placed their by Aiura. They all left offerings, and that was the most interesting thing Aiura had in her inventory. Since then the witch has relocated itself to the living room, where it spends all its time watching the news in the TV.

Omg, I just realised I never posted an update to this Sims drama, so here we go! (CW for a dead body (on the Sims))

Halloween night. The gang all went trick-or-treating together, and Kusuo happily watched them, dressed as a clown. He did not know it, but that night was his last on Earth (sort of).

That night, Kusuke sabotaged the TV.

The next morning, Kusuo decided to fix the TV, and due to an ill-placed puddle (courtesy of Akechi Touma (unwitting accomplice)) he was electrocuted!

Aiura frantically put out the fire...

...but it was too late.

None would forget the horrors of that day.

The day that Kusuo Saiki was gone forever.

How did he even form an identity with other people pouring into him at all times?

I believe that Saiki is asexual as in he does not experience sexual attraction, but also that he is capable of asexual reproduction.
