My S.O. and I love to watch Steven Universe. So, I thought that for one of the pages I could draw us in a style that resembled the characters on the show. He might be kind of obvious because his stature slightly resembles Lars--- aka its basically Lars with different clothes.
Everything could be cleaner, but overall I am happy with this page.

The Book of Love- page 1
My boyfriend of three years is having a birthday soon. I really wanted to surprise him with something special, so i wanted to write him a book. Well, more of a picture book really.
Plus, I really want to challenge myself to share my art and receive feedback from other more experienced artists.
But anyways, the background on this is our Halloween costumes two years ago (yes, it clearly says 2016 but counting past my bedtime is difficult). I went as Mable from Gravity Falls with a group of friends and he went as Spengler from Ghostbusters. He was pretty cute.
