first off, thank you so much for your help ! your blog is so inspiring & helpful ! please keep it up! i'm pretty new at the rping community of tumblr, i had some questions about how the tagging work, especially when posting musings or visuals about my muse, how many tags do i need to keep things organized?

HELLO THERE BEAUTIFUL. thank you for sending this in ( though i'm not sure when you sent this so sorry if i am very late in replying ). when it comes to tumblr rp, i do have some knowledge on what people tend to do for tagging !! ordinarily rpers will have a tag of some sort for most things on their blog, whether that's general musings or visage posts, but also for things like replies and ask memes and ooc posts. this is to make things easier for both you and your partners to find, but also so people are able to black list things like ooc posts if they need to.

a lot of people use quotes for their tags, an example format being: * ooc / it's either yeet or be yeeted.

but you can also just use a simple "ooc." or "musings." tag for your posts !!

some  more  examples  of  these:

“ ooc. ” “ images. ” “ musings. ” “ memes. ” “ aesthetics. ” “ ic interaction. ”

for replies to your partners, it's good rp etiquette to tag your partners url so that they're able to find it on your blog when they come to reply !!

you  can  also  use  some  more  fancy  formatting.  some  use  emojis  at  the  start: 🖤  ---  ooc.  OR   🖤  ---  ooc  /  it’s  either  yeet  or  be  yeeted.

tagging  is  a  great  way  to  experiment  with  formatting,  though  often  people  opt  for  a  more  simple  style  as  it’ll  be  easier  to  manage.
