Made oatmeal in a frying pan today. I offered my boy dry oats with milk and he says “ dad I like it slimy and sticky not dry with milk”. 😅 so I rummaged through the oven drawer but had no small pot so I decided to try out the frying pan. Love my boys. They wanted to go fishing. I personally don’t care for fishing. But because I love them , I will invest the time to build a friendship with them. Saturday morning I took Nathan out to Inga Lake. Caught nothing but spent an hour chatting and casting. Meant the world to him. Then Sunday morning I took Nolan out. Did the same to give each one special time with dad. We were there 15 min casting and his reel popped apart and the parts dropped into the lake. All started last weekend when the axle broke on the trailer. Just driving along on our property and next thing I know it felt like a flat 😟. Had to retrieve the wheel from one of our fields as if just took off. Zeke got it welded back on then this weekend the boys helped me remount the axle and get the tires mounted. Riding fine now. We had KTS Millwork Plus Ltd. build this display case for us. I installed the lighting and prepping for the glass. To install the connectors I made a mini tool extractor out of a paper clip. That there is my leg. Yup. A manly leg it is. Tonight I ran my hand over it and what seems normal to many felt awesome to me. When o moved to Kenny Lake, Alaska in 1997, I start ed out working on a two story home for a neighbor. One day while on the second floor moving some frames we built, I backed right into the stairwell and down I went. I landed on the treads of the first two steps and I scraped the front of my right leg badly. Lucky to say I didn’t brake a bone but the damage left the surface numb. Approximately 8” high and about three inches wide. It was that way till around November of 2018. At that time I took a Plexus product called Nerve. It’s designed to restore damaged nerve tissues. I did a loading dose of 5 capsules a day, with 3 in the morning and two at night. At the end of 22 days, feeling had returned to portions of my leg. Life went on, I was excited to have gotten some feeling back and you know, we get busy and go on. Tonight I was drying my legs after my shower and suddenly realized that all my feeling was back. On my way home I stopped to observe this Bobcat on the side of the highway. Stocking a deer 🦌 that was just ahead. The deer had no idea because it crossed the highway and just meandered into the woods. The bobcat did not even flinch when I backed up to get some pictures. I finally got to changing out the steel studded tires. Had a little helper who wasn’t heavy enough to push the torque wrench. But he realized that by using his weight, he could do it.
