okay this might be a reach but i have this theory that i feel like i need to share and its about mike's reluctance to play dnd with will, exclusively, and it might be trauma related. as far as we know (or as i can remember) after will comes back from the upside down on s2 they spend most of their time at the arcade, not playing dnd, and later, on s3, after everything happened with will being possessed by the mind flayer, we have will wanting to play dnd again, but what if the reason why mike doesnt want to play dnd with will again is because he's traumatized from the last time they played together? because it was "almost" his fault that will got taken by vecna/demogorgon, because if his campaign didnt take 10 hours will wouldn't have had to bike home so late and get kidnapped?
