Concept: Viktor and Klaus both coming out as Not Fuckin' Cis by Viktor saying that he doesn't use she/her pronouns anymore and Klaus responding by asking if he can have them and Viktor confusedly says "sure"

we need more realistic hitmen/fighter lifestyles in writing.
they'd need to get decent sleep to be up to completing missions, many of them would detest the idea of smoking/drinking bcos of their impact on your body, they'd need to spend serious time training and working out and eat very well.
i love hitmen that are edgy and smoke in back alleys and are very skinny yet have huge abs and can do super athletic stuff and don't eat much and stuff, but i feel like it just takes away some realisticness from the plot? idk

replace "very":
very happy: ecstatic, joyful, excited
very scared: terrified, fearful
very angry: livid, vengeful
very hungry: starved, skeletal
very sad: sorrowful, dejected, unhappy
very distrusting: doubtful, dubious, cynical
very shy: timid, bashful, reserved
very fun: enjoyable, amusing, refreshing
very big: gigantic, huge, enormous
very small: tiny, minuscule, compact
very alive: lively, vigorous, energetic
very sharp: pointed, spired, tipped
very much: many, abundant, greatly
very yummy: delicious, tasteful
very good: excellent, fine, virtuous
very bad: evil, terrible, poor
very sudden: abrupt, unexpected
very soon: near, shortly
very fast: quick, swift, brisk
very slow: leisurely, sedate
very cold: frigid, freezing
very hot: heated, balmy, spicy
very thin: slim, scrawny, skinny
very thick: stocky, hefty, large
Keep in mind not all words apply to all situations (you wouldn't use "spicy" to describe hot weather).

The fact that Twitter allows porn but not public death threats and tumblr allows public death threats but not porn is objectively funny and the fact that a large portion of us chose the latter over the former is objectively funnier

What I should be doing: Finish drafting Chapter 26 of my WIP.
What I did instead: Rewrote the summary of my completed fic. Now I'm mad that I didn't have that awesome summary while actually posting the damn thing.

Your task from the client was simple; Kill the target and take care of the kid too. It’s been ten years since then, and you’ve just realized you may have misunderstood “take care of kid too.”

A Quick Tip: How to Introduce The Antagonist
While researching this topic, one piece of advice kept showing up:
Your antagonist needs to be affecting the story as soon as possible (even if they’re not physically shown yet). Introduce them as close to the start as possible, whether it’s physically, by name, rumors or an action they have done off-page.
• Consider introducing them passively before they physically enter the story.
If your antagonist doesn’t enter the story until later, introduce them in passive ways. This could be word of mouth, rumors, visions, dreams… something that builds up the idea of the villain before they walk into the plot. A little appetizer before the meal. Another way to do this is by having something the antagonist does off the page affect your protagonist directly.
You could also give your antagonist henchmen who carry out their evil deeds for them until the antagonist steps in themselves. In Star Wars, the main antagonist is Darth Vader, who rules The Empire. The people who work for The Empire are always chasing Luke, giving him a constant struggle and conflict.
Examples:
Fire Lord Ozai in Avatar: The Last Air Bender doesn’t enter the story until the final season. However, his atrocities are made known throughout the show and directly affect Aang and his friends. Voldemort’s character from the Harry Potter series receives a similar treatment. He is shown in flashbacks, brief scenes and through rumors/word of mouth before he and Harry clash wands later on.
• Have your antagonist crush an influential authority figure.
Establish a character whom your protagonist idolizes, trusts or views as unbeatable. This could be a trusted mentor, a minor antagonist, an idolized father/mother figure, etc. Then, have your antagonist crush them.
When the antagonist easily defeats this powerful authority figure, it shows the protagonist (and readers) an unfathomable strength.

heyooo writeblr i'm very new here so. introduction.
im cain, i like writing fantasy, sci fi and adventure, sometimes horror and always cynicism, i'm currently trying to write my first full novel (potentially a series?) and im also just excited to meet new ppl on here!
my favourite author currently is derek landy (i'm obsessed with the way he makes fun of his own characters through the plot, i picked up this habit after reading his work) and ofc obsessed with his skulduggery pleasent series
im nonbinary (mostly out of spite of society's expectations but also bcos i dont feel a connection to any gender tbh) and most of my characters are gay as fuck!
i'm not really sure what else to put in an intro so? i'm also rly into martial arts and weightlifting and i'm about to start a bachelors degree in communications design (graphic design kinda) and i spend 80% of my time just nerding out at home! other than online i'm insanely antisocial so expect me to be around a lot :>
