do y’all think the man in the first pic of georgia’s photo dump on insta is her boyfriend or just a friend?
(i’m super nosy😭)

Hey all,
I will try get round to doing a full review for this week's EP, sorry I haven't for a couple weeks, been really busy!
Just some things I noticed:
-MAX HAS NICKNAMES FOR PEOPLE. he called Teddy., ted. And Jacob, J. THIS IS THE MOST WHOLESOME THING IVE HEAD RECENTLY!
-Stevie being aggressively supportive is literally me and honestly, I'm glad we are seeing this side to her, even if it's not for the right reasons.
-Jodie and Cam are literally couple goals at this point
-I think they r gunna set Rida and Rash up, whether it's while she is helping rash find a girlfriend and then that's drama, or whether, she's like 'Oh I'll pretend to be your girlfriend so your dad's happy, and then they actually end up liking each other. I kind of want them to stay friends, because their friendship is so pure and cute and everything, but I just smell casualty pairing these two from a mile away.
-Ashley, my hearttttttt! The fact he wasn't getting a psych review says everything about how underfunded the mental health side of the NHS is.
-Also, Donna reporting herself, it's the right thing to do but Max has a point.
-Added to this, after viewing this ep, I now see how they are going to ignite the relationship between Max and Donna which we see in the trailer.
Just a few thoughts about last night but I'll try and make a proper post somewhen in the next few dayssss

Series 37 Episode 39- Hooke's Law Review
-They started at the end which sometimes I love, sometimes I hate. I think.it wasn't AS effective this time, but it wasn't a terrible choice.
-Stevie commentry, not a fan of the massive pieces of loose hair at the front, a little bit yes, but jot that much. Love Stevie trying to restrain a patient in the backround, it was just something small that was effective in my opinion, because you know the doctors carry on treating patients when some walk away from the scene or they go to another, but I liked the obviousness but not massive deal made about it.
-Donna was already distracted at the start of the episode, but she was still being a great mentor, notably to Jodie.
-Charlie had appeared twice or three times early on, but then I didnt see him again, though he might be like Stevie in the way he was doing the first shift but not the second that Donna came back for, which was the main bulk of the episode.
-At this stage of the episode my theory was that Donna did fall asleep at the wheel, which turned out to be correct. It was really ahowing thats shes exhausted and tired, also that she missed her kids, my sympathy for her was up massively.
-Rida helping translate Arabic for the guy was sweet, Donna ahouldnt have lost her shit at Rida because she could talk more to the man than Donna could.
-Also, Cam is definitely coming into his own and getting more confident/in control of things
-I get why Iain suggested what he did and Faith shouldnt have got that angry, like he's just trying to help, she's lucky he hasn't reported her, even though he should have.
-Immediately I could tell the teenager wasn't telling Faith (I think) everything, and i actually liked this storyline.
-I thought the teenager was miscarrying, but then I was like, nope, labour. The girl looked so upset and then Ryan looked confused, but that adds up as the placenta came out, not the baby.
-Everyone rallying around to find the baby was sweet, and you cant tell me that Iain didn't look like he'd be a great dad.
-The police lady that took that piece of metal out her foot herself is one brave lady, stupid but brave.
-My next note was: 'Donna does not look good.' She looked so tired, and I do feel sorry for her.
-I was very impressed that Jan admitted she wasn't ok. Its a rarity.
-The teenager's mum sounds like a right cow. I want to slap her into another universe.
-Donna shutting Rida up, was......an interesting choice.
-My mum commented that she thought the translator was the dad of the baby that the Arabic lady (I dont know if she was Arabic but her husband was and I dont want to confuse her with the teenager), and I see it.
-Another thing on the translator, WAS HE FLIRTING WITH RIDA?!?!? I didnt like that at all.
-Cam buying Donna coffee🥰🥺
-I'm so glad Sah tried to talk to Paige, even if Paige was a bish and told Sah not to tell Teddy. These were my exact notes from the scene: 'You tell Piage that Teddy should know! OMG PAIGE SHUT UP. YOU KISSED SAH NOT THE OTHER WAY ROUND. ITS YOUR ISSUE GET A GRIP.'
-Faith lying more?!?! Oh my god. I'm fed up of this. Using a pregnant teenager's wee test is out of order.
-Jan and Ffion finally communicating effectively, thank the lord.
-Rida taking the Arabic dad to see his baby even though he cant hold him and Donna told her not to was so sweet and wholesome, love Rida.
-Faith being mean to Iain when he's literally only trying to help 🙄
-Felt bad that Donnas oldest left the younger one, but I also half get it because it sounds like it happens often because Donna's job is so full on.
-Ffion offering to take Gethin to Switzerland however nice was also only becuase she wanted Jan to herself and thats a little selfish, but its good for Gethin because it's what he wants. I believe euthanasia is legal in Switzerland, and that is what they were talking about.
-Fauth calling Iain controlling and demeaning wads uncalled for. Iain confessing his love and then Faith breaking it off was brutal and I wanna give Iain a hug.
-Im so glad Sah told Teddy, even if they made it sound like they kissed Paige first, even if it was Paige's fault.
-I was right in my prediction of Donna falling asleep, she narrowly missed one but another car went into the metal barriers instead. There was lots of smoke, and I can't wait to see how this plays out next episode.
Overall, a packed episode. Some characters are still bugging me, but im glad some things are being talked about: NHS being overworked and The Sah/Paige kiss.Max was mentioned, not much though, I'd expected more, but who knows.
Sorry this is so late🫣

Well, we got one brilliant episode of Casualty tonight!
I wasn't really sure what it was exactly going to be like when I first read about the concept of it featuring segments with real-life NHS medics, but I was happy to give it a chance because many of my favourite episodes of Casualty (and Holby) have been format-breaking in some way - and I'm glad I did, because as it turns out, it was amazing. Much like the improvised paramedic special a few months ago that I also loved, despite not being sure about the idea at first.
And this episode had two things going for it for me from the off: Faith Cadogan didn't feature, and Eli Ebrahimi was in it. I love Eli.
Seriously, getting Eli back, even if only for this episode, was absolutely wonderful. I didn't realise how much I've missed him! I'd be more than happy for him to stay on Casualty forever, haha. I'm glad he got more to do than I thought he would - when it was about halfway through the episode and he hadn't shown up yet, I was worried we'd only get to see him briefly, so I was so pleased he turned out to have quite a big role to play in the storyline.
I am a bit sad he didn't get scenes with Dylan. I would've loved to see them interact - as someone who firmly believes Eli is autistic, I'd love for him to form a friendship with Dylan. But seeing him get scenes with Stevie was just as good, because I love them both! And besides, he could quite easily come back again sometime and get scenes with Dylan then.
Given Eli was introduced once... well, once Holby felt to me like patient storylines weren't particularly centred or focused on that often... it was wonderful getting to see him being a doctor once again tonight. The scene where Yasmin hugged him for saving Amartya was so sweet.
Eli was one of the Holby characters I most wanted to cross over to Casualty - he hasn't got too much 'storyline baggage', so to speak, with him like many of the long-running characters would (A.K.A, why I'd never want Henrik to appear), and also I just happen to love him as a character and think Davood Ghadami is a great actor. So yeah, I was very happy this happened.
I appreciated the various characters featuring tonight - I'm glad Donna got a lot to do, because she's perfect for this sort of episode. (She was wonderful in Holby's NHS anniversary episode in 2018 as well.) Jaye Jacobs was as fantastic as ever, and I loved Donna's interactions with Yasmin.
Stevie's scenes were wonderful as well. Again, the way she interacted with Yasmin was so lovely - it was great to see Stevie really show her comforting side.
Even characters I normally don't like much, like Iain or Ryan, were excellent tonight! I loved Iain staying by Amartya's side for as long as he could, and Ryan helping his patient Dorothy celebrate.
Dylan and Stevie chatting about movies was fantastic. I've wanted Dylan and Stevie to become friends for a while, because I think they have quite a bit in common, so seeing them get on like this was great for me.
I thought the way the real-life commentary was used was done very well. It wasn't overdone, but there wasn't too little of it either. It was just right! :)
So, yes, I really liked this episode. Yay for Casualty, yay for the NHS, and yay for Eli Ebrahimi! ;)

Trailer review, part two - new chapter: Driving Force
I forgot major moments when I wrote the review last night, so small part 2!
- Rida injured? Looking veryyyy upset. Saw Jodie with her. So glad she's staying.
- On that note, I don't think I saw much, if any, Cam and Ryan. Hopefully they stay, I want character progression!!!!
- Jan and Gethin seem very close, and Gethin seems to be struggling lots, I hope he doesn't struggle too badly. Seems like an awful disease, I'm glad he's got support from Jan.
- Not much paramedic drama to talk about, hopefully the whole Paige/Sah kiss is talked about and figured out. Potentially a poly relationship between Teddy, Paige and Sah? I'm not a Paige fan, but representation, so....yh. It'll make Casualty even more difficult to watch with the mother, but we need representation.

Trailer review - new chapter: Driving Force
WHAT IN THE BLOODY HELL WAS THAT! Lots going on, let's unpack a bit.
- Donna and Max?????!!!!!!?! I thought Dylan and Donna might happen, but that was a shock, interesting to see how that plays out
- I think Stevie finds the drugs in Faith's locker. And faith lies about the cancer to Stevie to keep the drugs a secret. Especially as Stevie doubts it and we later see Stevie approach the CL office and Faith beg her to not say anything. Other than this, not much Stevie, although she normally gets not great or nice storylines so glad she's not gunna go through more traumatising sh*t
- Lots of Donna drama it seems? Excited as I haven't seen loads of her, but I hope they don't do her character dirty!
- Max potentially IBS or other chronic disease? Dylan seems to know about it, and he seems to have had it before? Or it could be to do with the scar on his abdomen we saw not last episode, the episode before? Could still be a chronic disease, could be a cancer or injury or disease?
- Jacob's yell of Iain after an explosion. My instinct says Iain won't die as they wouldn't put something like that in a trailer, however could be wrong. Plus Jeff, a paramedic who used to be in Casualty, died in an explosion at an RTC, it looked like a similar situation, and hopefully Casualty wouldn't repeat that. I hope not. However, if he were in this explosion but survived, I hope we at least get a mention of Sam Nicholls, as she died as a result of shrapnel from an explosion at an RTC and it was the start of Iain's mental health issues and s**cide attempt. He wouldn't be in an explosion and not have some issues after it, especially with his close friend dying in those circumstances.
I think I covered everything?
Hopefully Casualty do all these justice. Especially the Stevie/Faith drugs situation, if they make Stevie into a soft character and give in to Faith's begs and pleads, there will be a heavy rant on here. I'm fed up of Faith, she's a lying, manipulative piece of sh*t. But that's another posts worth of content.

Series 37 Episode 38 review
- Episode was very different, loved the setup and interjections/narrations from NHS workers
- Iain with HEMMS is always a slay,
- Stevie looking gorge, as per. Eyeliner really slaying. However, I think she's anxious about something, they kept zooming in/focussing on her rubbing her neck/shoulder, and she looked exhausted all episode. Almost half broken mentally, not like normal sympathy and upset at patient dying, but genuinely broken. I think she was about to cry at one moment and that really shocked me, please someone back me up at how not ok Stevie seemed to be last night.
- No reference to last week's EP at all, bar Max not being in it (I think maybe Dylan referenced it very briefly but I might be wrong). I thought very strange as surely Jodie would be upset more.
- ED very busy, lovely highlighting in that EP as to how hospitals normally are now.
- The guy filming when HEMMS arrived at the scene was wholly inappropriate, but again too normalised
- Cam being anxious, please let him grow as a character because he stood up to Ryan last week!!!!
- Donna is being a great guide to the younger nurses (notably Cam and Jodie) this episode, loving it!
- Jodie and Stevie friendship need to see more of, they are such cuties really!
- Jodie getting smacked in the face wasn't expected
- I didn't like that Rob dude, the one that operated on the patient, he was a bit of a prat and he ground my gears
- "Cam, go move your butt and get one" - Stevie. I don't need to say anything else
- Iain promised his famous brew. Thank you Casualty for consistency!!!! Even if it is only Iain's tea making skills
- The patients wife was lovely, and I felt so bad for her, especially as she was pregnant
- Dorothy. Such a sweetheart. Love her.
- RYAN WAS ACTUALLY NICEEEEEE! We love that. Slight redemption in my eyes! Him getting Dorothy's family down because it was meant to be her birthday and she was meant to be travelling to Manchester to see her son, and getting everyone to sing happy birthday to her was adorable and it was soooooo wholesome. Love it.
- Stevie's a sweetheart really. I have no clue what I meant by that.*
- Was the team operating on that patient one from Holby City? Was Eli in Holby because I recognise the name but am not sure as I never got fully into Holby before it got cancelled
- Stevie and Dylan slay as a duo and we need more of this, along with more Dylan and Donna and Jodie and Stevie.
- Also, absolutely no mention of the Sah/Paige kiss this ep. Very confused because, like, very big moment, why no mention?
- I think it's because it was a 75th anniversary special for the NHS they tried to avoid too many regular storylines, but I have no clue.
*To make this, I used the spam I sent to my friend as the show was happening, so some of my notes I have no clue what happened in the ep to trigger that response.
This is a learning process these next few weeks as to how I set out the weekly opinions, so please be patient and/or give feedback
Stevie is a fave right now, so there is very likely to be heavy Stevie analysis. Enjoy!
