dni if you support relationships between vampires and the vampire they sired. i am so serious, i dont care what your justification is, that is an unforgivable power imbalance. its almost as bad as vampire human relationships (and if you support that i hope you get a splinter in the heart)

op what the fuck is your problem? more maggots in your brain than usual? go out into the real underworld and touch some graveyard dirt. i know at least 7 vampires who are in happy healthy relationships with the vampire who sired them. me included! this may shock you but we started dating when i was human and she was a vamp!

i hate to tell you this but you're in a toxic relationship and i sincerely hope youre able to get out.

HELLO???????

i keep seeing people saying this shit and honestly i think it stems from the infantalization of humans. humans are capable of making decisions for themselves. do some vampires abuse their powers over humans? of course! but you cant assume that every single human vampire relationship (or sire and sired relationship for that matter) is some unhealthy power imbalance, especially when you dont even know them!!!
⚰ fangs4fags Follow
i think op is forgetting that humans can be just as harmful to vampires as they can be to humans. dont tell me you completely just forgot about the existence of vampire slayers
🧛‍♂️ coffincreeper Follow
next thing you know op is gonna be saying that a hundred year age gap between fully fledged vampires is problematic
👻 corpsecourse Follow
it literally is. i dont care if you are a 1000 years old vampire, if your significant other is 100 years older than you they have more life experience than you. god you guys are stupid why dont you all step into a sunbeam

hey guys i just went to ops account and their pinned post was about how they dont consider werewolves part of the monster community cuz theyre not undead. just block and move on it is NOT worth it

Death Note Kinktober Day 1: Hate Sex
Words: 2,772
Rating: MA
Summary: Some exposition about Light and L being in a bad mood, and then hate sex.
AO3 Link
L is pretty sure everyone on the Task Force could feel Light’s bad mood. It rolled off of him in waves, letting anyone nearby know to leave him alone. He briefly wonders if Light is aware that everyone knows about his mood, or if he believes he’s hiding it well enough. There’s a plethora of places the mood could have originated from. Being tied to L, L’s own depressed mood, the dead ends on the case; take your pick. Normally, L wouldn’t mind or care. Other people’s emotions were not especially interesting to him, but it’s Light they’re talking about. With his motivation gone for the case, the next best interesting thing would be to pick apart what is riling Light up.
L has a very weird relationship with Light. He’s almost positive Light holds respect for him, but he doesn’t like him. And L respects how cut and dry of an opinion it is. L has to say his feelings towards Light are more complicated. He enjoys their intellectual chats. But he hates how fake Light is. Even after his personality transplant in isolation; though it may be a bit tamer now. Yes, there are some things about Light that are likable, but some that are annoying. So, it’s impossible for L to form an opinion other than he’s fun. Though, considering Light was his only lead, and is now most definitely not Kira, L could consider himself a bit peeved at him.
Well, actually, L’s a little mad about it. It’s not an emotion L is used to having. Usually, if a criminal evades him a little longer, it’s frustrating, but it also makes it a fun and fulfilling chase. In Kira’s case, he just disappeared into thin air. No loose ends to grab onto. No sloppy moves on the criminal's part. Just gone. There is no way at present to solve the case of the first Kira.
In other news, Light was pissed. He doesn’t ever remember being this mad and infuriated. There’s always this weight on his chest and eyes on him. There’s the fact he is chained to L, who doesn’t even have the decency to be a good roommate. Day and night he’s on his laptop, and Light knows it has nothing to do with the case. There are bags under his eyes and a residual headache from lack of sleep. There are spots in his mind that don’t make sense, and they’re something he tries to not put much thought into. Everyone’s on edge around him. Ryuzaki swears up and down that he was Kira but wasn’t now. No one outright believes him, but they’re weary of Light. Ryuzaki has all but given up on the case for the moment. His moping is driving him up a wall. And finally, he has no privacy. Ryuzaki is always there. At work, in the kitchen, in the shower. As if that wasn’t overkill, Light isn’t convinced there aren’t tons of cameras around.
So yeah, Light is pissed. To his chagrin, he knows Ryuzaki has caught on. Then again, Light wasn’t being exactly subtle about it. There wasn’t any reason to be. Light can’t very well keep up the front of being fine twenty-four-seven.
The two don’t really talk during the workday. Ryuzaki does whatever it is he’s doing on his laptop all day, and Light is trying to group data together to analyze. He waits until his vision is starting to blur together to suggest going upstairs.
“Are you about ready to retire?” Light asks as if Ryuzaki is actually doing work. Ryuzaki hums and looks up from his screen, clicking out of things before standing up and grabbing his laptop. Just what Light needs, another night full of typing sounds. Part of him just wants to leave it, but as they’re walking to the elevator, Light sighs.
“Do you have to be on your laptop while I’m trying to sleep?” he asks, as calmly as he can muster. Ryuzaki presses the button for their floor before looking at him with his owlish eyes.
“As I’ve told you many times before, Light-kun, I have insomnia and would rather get some things done instead of tossing and turning,” Ryuzaki says, just as calmly. They seem to have this polite social warfare going on, Light supposes. It’s unbelievable how infuriating it is.
“Let me rephrase,” Light says, looking up to the ceiling. “Is there any use keeping me up when you’re not doing anything productive for the case?”
All the bastard does is shrug, and Light counts to ten.
Showering is uneventful. Besides Light having to tell Ryuzaki “I told you to not look at me” when he felt Ryuzaki staring at the back of his head.
Of course, when they lay down for bed, Ryuzaki brings out his laptop. Light lifts the blanket over his head to buffer some of the sound. He eventually finds sleep.
-----
Light’s eyes squint and his nose crinkles before his eyes open. Under the blanket is too hot and his skin is sticky with sweat. His dreams must have been fitful. The morning daylight shines through the curtains. The clacking of keys reminds him that he’s not alone. Light groans and drags the blanket over his head.
“Good morning,” L says offhandedly. Light doesn’t even deign it with an answer.
Even though Light wants to get up and get the day over already, he can’t seem to get up from the bed. The dream he had last night wasn’t bad. At least he thinks. He’s not sure why he’s so tired still. The softness of the blanket and the plushness of the pillow welcome him to go back to sleep. Deciding he’d just close his eyes for a moment, Light tries to remember what his dream was. Shifting, he goes to turn on his side and notices the problem between his legs. His eyes pop open. God, this hasn’t happened in like… well he can’t even remember. What did he dream about last night?
“Light? Are you ready to get up?”
Whipping around, trying to not look like a deer in the headlights, he makes eye contact with L and he remembers. Oh, god. If Ryuzaki is going to occupy every moment of his day, it’s not fair he does the same in his dreams. There’s a few phases Light’s face goes through:
First is horror. Next is grief. After is acceptance. Last is anger.
And Light just explodes on Ryuzaki. All his frustration, all his anger. He just yells. It’s like he’s a backseat driver in his own brain. This yell match is just something he’s witnessing. The words just keep coming out. All the while. Ryuzaki just stares at him wide-eyed. The passenger in his brain is begging his mouth to stop. He’s never yelled at anyone like this. And this is the worst person to try it out on.
And as fast as it started, it was over, and they just stared at each other, not saying anything.
“Well, you didn’t have to yell,” Ryuzaki says after what feels like an insanely long time. Red is all Light sees when he realizes he’s swinging his fist for Ryuzaki’s head.
Maybe it’s too early in the morning for both of them, but Ryuzaki did not dodge it in time, and Light did not swing hard enough to knock him down.
Like play yard boys are wont to do, they start fighting. With the way Ryuzaki was hitting him back, Light figures he was hiding away a lot of anger for him, too. It was almost cathartic, in a way, but not satisfying.
Ryuzaki rolls on top of him, pinning his arms down finally. They both breathe heavily, just staring at each other, trying to fill their lungs. Light’s exerted as much force as he’s willing to at this point, so he lets his arms collapse in a stalemate. Realizing Light has given up, Ryuzaki loosens his grip and falls back to sit. They both notice the same thing at the same time. Ryuzaki’s eyes widen considerably and Light’s face becomes the reddest and hottest he’s ever felt.
The idiots going to think the fight did this. What can he say? Would Ryuzaki believe him if he told him anyway? He could just die here and now. Maybe Kira will strike him down where he lies.
Humiliated anyway, Light figures the next reasonable course of action would be to potentially make it worse if it was already going to suck anyway. Light leans up, grabs the back of Ryuzaki’s head, and meets his lips.
Refusing to open his eyes, and unfortunately noticing Ryuzaki was not reciprocating, Light leans up for as long as he can before falling back to the bed. Ryuzaki’s eyes are still open, the most shocked he’s ever seen him. Just looking right in front of himself.
“I hate you,” Light finally says, locking his eyes on Ryuzaki’s. It’s childish and halfhearted, but Light doesn’t want Ryuzaki to get any ideas. His words make Ryuzaki’s eyes flick down to his. Looking into Ryuzaki’s eyes, Light can’t tell if he is mad, or if he can even feel anger.
Ryuzaki’s lips are on his in an instant. They’re mouthing at him in a hunger, and as soon as Light registers it, he reciprocates back in a fury. Thinking about it, Light realizes he’s only made out with maybe two girls. It was boring and gentle, a soft nipping at each other. This was teeth clacking on each other because they were too frantic to slow down. This was a heat in his body that reached from his head to his toes. This was a floodgate being opened for the first time. This felt like something.
Ryuzaki’s breath is hot on his face before he dives in again. His tongue darts around, trying to touch everything it can, before finding Ryuzaki’s tongue. It feels like being devoured.
Feeling bold, Light starts to run his hands over Ryuzaki’s frame, starting small to test the waters. Grabbing his shoulders, rubbing up his neck, sliding down his chest and up his sides. Suddenly, he feels pain in his lip and the taste of blood. Light yelps. Breaking away, Ryuzaki looks at him, his chest heaving. His eyes show a hunger that might scare other people, but Light embraces it.
“I hate you, so much,” Light reiterates, but Ryuzaki says nothing, taking his lips again in a long kiss; the most chaste thing about this encounter. The detective's hands are all over him, not as tentative as Light was. He even goes as far to rub his side and cup his ass, causing Light to yelp embarrassingly, and thrusting up.
The charge in the room turns feral, both of them ripping off their layers. Ryuzaki tries to take Light’s pajama pants off, getting frustrated when they get caught at his ankles. He gives up, just leaving them there. Light all but rips Ryuzaki’s shirt off in one full swoop, tossing it to the other side of the bed. Ryuzaki attaches himself to his neck as Light tries to pull Ryuzaki’s pants down, clawing at the waistband. Making a loud pop as he detaches, Ryuzaki shoves them the rest of the way down. Light can almost feel the blood welling at his collarbone.
Barely up for just enough time to take off his pants, Ryuzaki instantly goes back down, this time to take a perky nipple in his mouth. It causes Light to gasp, raising off the bed gripping L’s head as the man laps at it, before nibbling it a bit too hard.
Light feels so hard that it’s insane, almost like he’ll explode if it keeps up. L briefly palms his erection and Light is afraid he’ll cum now and then. The roughness of L’s hands grazes over his cock like a fire.
“Hnng!” Light moans, the first. It lights a fire in L’s eyes, and Light knows fingers are thrusting up his ass, like you would know a math equation, but he doesn’t fully register it until it feels like a chord is being strung within him. The gurgled, drawn out moan as he grips onto L like a lifeline isn’t exactly what he’d call attractive, but he feels L smile into the nook of his neck.
“You’re such, ahh, a piece of s-shit,” Light stumbles out. L sucks another hickey on his neck before biting hard, and Light bemoans that he not only finds it extremely hot, but that he’ll have to wear a turtleneck tomorrow. Briefly, he wonders if L bit hard enough to leave teeth marks. And briefly, he hopes he did.
Time feels like it’s slowed down when they’re lining up. It’s the first moment they’ve taken since Light kissed L, and the silence feels painful, like a deep sickening feeling in his stomach. L thrusts in with a snap of his hips to the hilt, surprising Light and knocking the wind out of him. The man does have the decency to wait once they’ve attached, and all Light can hear is breathing and the air conditioner kicking on.
Doing the closest to begging he’ll do, Light lifts his hips up in desperation. It’s all L needs to start pounding in and out of him, making Light rock back and forth on his pillow. It’s all so much and Light has to squeeze his eyes shut before taking it out on L’s back, absolutely clawing at it like an animal. It doesn’t seem to bother L, arms on either side of Light and sweat dripping off of himself. Light catches his eyes.
“You’ve ruined- ungh- my whole case,” L barely gets out, stumbling for a second but not slowing down. He’s rubbing at Lights back, before raking his bitten nails all over Light’s ass and legs. “You’ve fucked everything up.”
Light wants to throw back some low hanging fruit but he couldn’t bring himself to care. The pleasure is blinding and it’s not slowing down. He’s not sure he can take it anymore. His nerves and body are on fire. Grabbing L to hold him tight, a particular thrust causes him to chomp on L’s shoulder really hard, making L grunt. It’s too much. It’s too much.
L hoists Light’s legs over his shoulders, stopping in his thrusting, before snapping his hips back and making Light keen with a scream. Head digging in the pillow, his neck is strained. Thrashing, Light grips the sheets, making his knuckles white. He can’t take it anymore. He feels close, but he’s felt like that for a while.
“T-touch me, fuckwad,” Light chokes out, cringing at how it sounds like a whine.
L grabs his cock, pumping him slowly, teasing him. Light looks up to say something and stops. The sweat causes L’s hair to stick to his forehead. His skin glistens. Loath to admit it, Light finds beauty in it. Even though Light comes before L sped up his wrist, he won’t admit it was the sight of L fucking him that sent him over the edge. Arching off of the bed, he comes with a cry, relishing in his aching cock spilling all over L’s hand.
Not quite out of the haze, but definitely sensitive, L keeps fucking into his spent body. Eyes watering slightly, Light bites his lip at the overstimulation; too prideful to tell L to stop. L rubs at Light’s legs, before pulling his hand away to grip at his hips.
Not sure how long it goes on, L’s thrusts get sloppy and faster. The man’s fingers grip his hips to bruises, before releasing, pumping his seed deep into his body, before slumping over. Light wonders if it’s possible to orgasm without coming, because that’s the only way he can describe the feeling that washes over him, seeing L finish.
After L pulls out very suddenly, Light hisses and stretches his legs out, wondering if feeling will come back to them. L flops down beside him.
Light’s mind starts clearing, and he slowly realizes what has transpired. If he was alone, he’d be curling up into the blankets and grabbing at his head, wondering what he’d just done. But he’s not. He never is anymore. So he just lies there, looking at the ceiling. The more he thinks about it, the more dread he feels, culminating in him unconsciously saying:
“Oh, shit,” he breathes out, almost a whisper. It’s silent for a moment, and he wonders if L heard him.
“Yeah,” is all L says, seeming dazed himself.
They get up and get ready for the day, silently.
