Lmk head canons!!
Macaque is fluent in Italian, he surprises people with how well he can speak it
Wukong knows some Spanish words, but is not completely fluent. He proudly claims he is fluent in Spanish.
Red Son is constantly called over by Mk just because he’s cold. He’s called the ‘portable heater’ by Mei.
In monkey form, Mk grows taller by a few inches. He’s then pretty much a head taller than Wukong and Mac.
Mac and Wukong fight over who’s taller. Physically most of the time. - Mk is the one who tries to stop them from fighting but only gets Wukong hurled at him in the process.
Mac likes rainy days. He hates when it storms because of the thunder.
Mk still makes sassy remarks at red son over ruining his apartment. He constantly says “a sketchbook or two would help me let it go.”
Wukong loves humid weather, he loves sitting outside and basking in it. - one time in the past, Mac had to drag him into some shade because he thought Wukong would start burning.
Macaque has a VERY high flight or fight response. It isn’t flight most of the time. - Mk was a victim to that fight response once.
Pigsy and Tang would dress up in an 80s theme every year for their anniversary.
Macaque called Wukong ‘Cara Mia’ once. Wukong thought he was being insulted.
Will do just shadowpeach ones later!!!

Should I write macaque’s death with the first chapter??
Hanahaki! Shadowpeach au
The first time went unnoticed, something a little like this.
Wukong muffled a giggle as he heard his dear warrior’s footsteps crunch the leaves below him. He remained shrouded behind the cover of the tree as Macaque’s footsteps became slightly louder before stopping to a halt.
The king had a wide, giddy grin on his face as he tried to remain as calm as possible and hide from his sneaky shadow. He held a hand up to his lips to stop another little laugh from slipping out.
“Boo.”
A voice spoke from behind him and he jumped, yelping and losing his balance on the tree branch.
Luckily enough, his tail instinctively wrapped around said branch and stopped him from face planting into the earth. His ears caught onto the snarky cackle above him and he craned his head to meet the eyes of his best friend.
“Oh, by Buddha! You should have seen your face!”
Macaque chuckled, shoulders hunching as his grin thinned out into a beautiful smile. He reached down, his hand outstretched and inviting. Wukong took it, hoisting himself back up onto the branch and pouting.
“No fair! I bet you used your ears to find me!”
The king huffed, crossing his arms and looking away. Macaque lazily smirked, rolling his eyes.
“It’s not my fault you’re so loud. Plus, you can’t even try to hide without giggling your ass off. Just admit that I won this round, my king.” He sassed, leaning into Wukong’s space teasingly.
Wukong tried to step away, before an idea popped into his head and he grinned. The warrior faltered at the grin and now he just realized that he was playing into a dangerous game. He tried to escape but there was no use, his king was already barreling into his chest and knocking the air out of him.
They both fell out of the tree, tumbling into the grassy ground below as they both laughed together. Wukong snuggled into Macaque’s neck, giggling some as he hooked his arms over the latter’s shoulder.
“Can’t ever escape my surprise attack!”
The king exclaimed, to which Macaque only quirked an eyebrow at such words.
“Oh really? And what if I just portal away?”
Wukong only squeezed tighter.
“You can’t! That’s not part of the rules!”
He pouted further, moving to sit up from his place on Macaque’s chest.
“You cheat all the time, what’s wrong with me doing it?”
“Well I never use my powers! You’re always using yours!”
The shadow demon huffed, before smirking and shoving Wukong’s shoulder lightly.
“You cheater…” the golden monkey grumbled under his breath, knowing all to well that his dark counterpart heard him either way.
“Yeah, but you love me. Just admit it.”
The blush rushed to his cheeks before he could even push out a reply, Macaque found that quite funny. Wukong sighed, trying to push the words out, but found his throat has clogged up, and before he knew he was keeling over to cough up whatever blocked his airway.
He felt Macaque’s shaky, worried hands gently place themselves onto his shoulders and he couldn’t help but feel glad that he was here with him.
Soon enough, whatever got stuck in Wukong’s throat had landed in the hand that covered his mouth. He pulled his hand away from his face and peered at it.
Pink petals?..
Only then did the king find out they were petals of plum blossoms. He looked up when he heard a small giggle. Macaque had let a small chuckle slip, worry still slightly creasing his brow.
“I must’ve eaten the pit of a plum or something..” he humored and his shadow laughed again.
“When have you eaten plums?”
Wukong shrugged, smiling some.
“Eh, when I feel like it.”
“Do you eat the pits of stone fruit when you feel like it too?”
The king spluttered, slapping Macaque’s shoulder lightly.
“S-shut up!”
He huffed, dropping the plum blossom petals and deeming it as he either ate a plum put or just inhaled a flower while playing.
“Want to play again? If we do, you’re seeking.”
Macaque smiled oh so beautifully. How could Wukong ever say no to a face as pretty as that?
“Yes! I’m bound to win this time!”
And with that, the flowers were forgotten on the earthy floor.

Yeah lol
I Like to think that because love is such a powerful thing. Especially the pain it brings when the love isn’t reciprocated, it’s a torturing feeling when you’re rejected by the one you adore, the one you love. That is why I thought about it like that, because obviously you’d want the feelings to be the same
(I’m rambling but I hope that clears my idea up lmao)

1. I might do two endings
And 2. I’m still thinking but the flowers might still be able to get rid of immortality because of the pain and suffering it brings. Either that or Wukong is in an eternal loop of torture for the rest of eternity!

After Azure had practically forced Red Son and his family into a bunch of scrolls, he really didn’t know how to feel. To start off, as he very clumsily appeared in the world of fake realities, he knew there would be no escaping any time soon. Second, his parents were were confined into separate scrolls and Buddha knows how they’re doing right now.
Red Son would like to think that they’re handling this well, but he knew a bit too much about his parents to think they’d be alright all alone. Just as he didn’t know what to feel right now, it was safe to say he was not at all alright.
Separating Red Son from his parents was one thing, but another was trapping him in a scroll and making him visit long buried memories.
The prince walked aimlessly along the vast garden, red peonies littered the place. He stared longingly at each rogue petal, at each sage leaf, at each unique design.. as if he forgot the simpler times.
“Why am I here?..”
He asked with a sigh, despite fully knowing the answer. The demon prince decided it would be best he sat down through this… miniature version of hell and wait, so waiting he did. He found a spot by those soft peonies and kneeled slowly, huffing softly.
“Out of all the places some scroll could’ve brought me to.. of course it was here.”
Then, all of a sudden… the sunset switched from a warm, nostalgic halo to a dark, inky mess. In that whole moment, it switched in between from dark and warmth before slowly turning to its darker counter part. Red Son yelped as he quickly turned to stand in a posture for defense. His flames kindled against his hands as he rapidly traced the newly unfamiliar place with his eyes.
“You know why you were brought here, don’t you?”
Came a voice he knew all too well.. considering it was his voice.
“After all, we are.. Red Son, son of the demon bull family and the prince of demons.”

Friendly Reminder:
Being in the scroll is a form of Hell, right?
So if we count from the moment Ink MK showed up to when Wukong appeared, MK lasted less than 15 minutes in Hell before he broke.

Imagine him being here for an eternity.
Fuck this.

Protecting MK
I love how everyone just wants to protect MK. And it's not JUST protecting; it's physically shielding.

Every time someone tries to protect MK, they move in front of him. They want to risk the damage so MK doesn't have to.
Protect the cinnamon roll.

“Mo-monkey king.. please..” Mk begged, nails digging into his head as his headband tightened to a headache-bringing extent. He was already feeling dizzy, and if this headband grew any tighter he swore his head was going to split. He need a way out. Now.
“Please! Get it off, it hurts!” He pleaded, the pain in his head growing worse. He could even feel blood rush from his head as his newest accessory tightened even more.
Wukong was silent throughout this, stuck in his own memories. But, snapped out of it as soon as he heard Mk fall on to his knees and start sobbing.
“It’s okay, kid. I’ll get it off, I-I promise.. you just gotta bear with me for now, okay?..” The great Sage, spoke softly. He kneeled in front of Mk to wrap his arms around the kid. “You just gotta..” He trailed off, what did he do to deal with the filet in the least painful way possible?
“But it hurts! It hurts so bad, monkey king! Why won’t it come off?!” He cried in pained frustration, blood now dripping down his forehead.
“Okay, okay. I hear ya, kid, I hear ya. How about this? Focus on everything else you can hear, see, touch and feel that doesn’t include the pain.. think you can do that?” He challenged his successor, trying to mask his anxiety. Although, the kid had listened and started focusing on everything around.
“Alright, think you can tell me what’s going on around you?” The monkey king asked, golden eyes burning through Mk’s face as he nodded.
“I-I can hear you talking, the monkeys in the background… um, birds chirping in the trees?..” Wukong nodded as he listened to him, wrapping his tail around his waist and putting a hand on his shoulder to encourage the kid to keep going. So with a shallow breath, Mk did.
“I can feel your hand on my shoulder, and your tail on my waist.. I can also feel the breeze. Um, I can touch.. you, and the ground and my jacket.. and I can see your face and the trees.. and some rocks..” the successor’s expression calmed slightly as the pain had soothed just a smidge.
As Wukong wrapped his arms around his kid again, he knew what he had to do. And that meant paying the heavens a good old visit.
