I was thinking about what is the difference when it comes to the treatment of the crushes in eldarya TO and eldarya NE and the answer is depressing. It’s not only that they changed Lance and Leiftan’s personality, but also that we never really got to know anyone out of their work except maybe Mathieu.

In TO we have a bunch of scenes where Erika met with the boys just to have fun or to have casual conversation. They sometimes ate lunch together (Erika even cooked a meal for them once), sometimes they met before missions to study the plan in company, we had casual conversations with them just as we roamed around HQ doing whatever, they played games and had an actual date in chapter 17, she missed them when they were gone because she was used to talk to them, Leiftan bought her a gift during the Huang Hua chapter... Even if she saw them as her friends, you could still get to know your crush and flirt with them if you gave the right answers. All these small things contributed into building a more or less believable romance.

In NE, most of these scenes aren’t with the crushes, but with secondary characters (except maybe Mathieu, who is also in our circle of “friends”). We have meetings and play games with secondary characters, when we walk around HQ, we meet and talk with secondary characters. The moments where we get to talk to one of the crushes are scarce. I think the only leisure time where they actually spent time together and “alone” was during the ball.

It feels like they wanted to make a game with these secondary characters but then remembered this is supposed to be an otome and the players are here to flirt, so they had to add a 2min scene by the end of the chapter where they magically fall in love or kiss for no reason (otome? check✅). We only get to spend time with them during missions where we can’t really focus on the romantic aspect that much because in these chapters the plot has to move forward, which is exactly what happened this last chapter where Leiftan and Mathieu didn’t even show up. Erika talked more about her feelings for the crush with Huang Chu and Karenn than with her actual partner.

I like the general plot of this season, but in the end even this plot isn’t as good as it could have been, again, due to the lack of bonds between Erika and her partner. If Erika had had a true connection and built romantic interest for her boyfriend (or the other crushes who are her colleagues) during this chapter, their separation would have struck harder, but it feels like she got split from her missions friend who she sometimes kissed.

I don’t have much hope for this aspect of the game, given that I’ve seen people have been complaining about the lack of romance and the little time spent with the crushes for several chapters now and BV is still ignoring everything.

This scene made me feel that he wasn’t only saying he was sorry for her because she couldn’t go meet her family, I had the impression he was also feeling awful because she already had to sacrifice a lot in the past to save Eldarya from him.

Now that he’s in love with her, he has to see her cry because she has to sacrifice something important to save Eldarya again. I can sense his guilt and pain in this scene 🤧

I still don’t have the courage to check how much I spent testing Aaron.

I really love that we were praised at the beginning for doing the guides, being « helpful for the players » and now it’s oh « its easy for them » « oh she got it on first try » « it’s illegal ». Thinking about all the fucking money in APs that we invested, all the time we replayed again and again and now that the game is over it’s ungrateful things that come in. Lol. That’s how humans are anyway right ? And if you didn’t see the amount of messages the Lance illu got that’s your problem but don’t forget that a game of harassment on social media is the job and living of some people

Add this to your influential request to Beemoov:

-We had a trio dream in MCL, I want one in Eldarya. If possible with these combinations: Lance and Leiftan, Leiftan and Nevra, Lance and Valkyon, Nevra and Ezarel.

-I also want Ez and Valkyon to return, but please ask them to make Ez be more like he was during the first half of the game.

-Make sure Koori is murdered somehow. Same for Tenjin. I don’t want to see more kitsunes in the game, except for Miiko to show her my new boyfriend Lance.

I’ll update if I think of more requests

So a friend told me that there's someone out there saying that I have power over Beemoov somehow? I'm not sure because I've been busy with work and I have most of the haters of the fandom blocked. However, I always have a laugh when these things happen, last time people accused me of being all mighty powerful and have Beemoov do my bidding I sent an email to the company collecting all the requests we had for their games, because of course they should do what I say.

Strangely nothing of what we asked became reality, but I am always encouraged by this show of confidence people have in me, so I'm going to try again.

Beemoov, these are my demands:

- A new MCL game post LL where we can get back with the old crushes following the single ending.

- A reboot of Eldarya, where we can romance Lance from the start as Ashkore and Ez and Valk don't die.

- ML season 2 for every crush except Ivan and Raphael.

- An 18+ Lance solo game just for me (sorry guys, I rule)

gotta love this fandom. Few weeks ago someone says Chino said Eldarya won’t have S3 and all hell breaks loose. It was a lie.

Now someone posts 2 out of context screenshots taken out of a conversation with hundreds of messages in a discord server with +500 users and, again, let’s start pointing fingers and accusing others without knowing absolutely anything. This fandom doesn’t deserve nice things. I’m so ashamed. I want to send a message of support to those who keep working to bring us nice content, be it in the games or in the fandom. True queens and kings. 💙
