I take such incredible pride in my room tho like not to boost my ego but i think it’s the nicest room in the house you’ll love it baby, I can’t wait for you to come over and see it xxx

I also have great housemates who also just really care about their living conditions as much as I do so apart from the things that are out of our control we have a very clean and pretty house tbh. The decor is questionable is some places but hey they love it so it’s just not my taste and that’s ok!

Tbh I’ve seen worse student accommodation and it’s purely cuz of landlords most the time like they don’t give a flying fuck about how we’re living as long as we’re paying them

I feel like the actual learning aspect of uni isn’t too different from the US, I could be wrong tho but it seems like 80-90% similar lol

I think the biggest difference is like the night life and accommodation and shit like that

Like I live in a shared house with some of my friends and like it’s fucking rank, as are most uni shared houses cuz landlords don’t fix shit so just survived winter with no heating (not like we could afford it anyway lol)

also it really depends what uni you go to like going to Cambridge is gonna be completely different to someone who goes to like idk Leeds or smth lmao

Not gonna dox myself and say where I go but I definitely feel like you’re gonna have a better time at like Cambridge or Oxford and places like that then you will where I go lmao. Obviously the work is harder at places like that cuz it’s so difficult to get into but I feel like the way of living and accommodation has to be nicer like surely
