Prompt: Bucks had a headache for days after the tsunami. Fast forward to dinner with Chris, Buck and Eddie, when Buck gets this sudden intense pain in his head, Eddie asks if he's okay and if course buck says hes fine, only when buck makes his way to stand up he staggers into the counter. Hes leaning against when suddenly there's blood coming out of his nose and he collapses. (Finish the story however you want to, but can we get married Buddie & Protective Eddie)

Buck had taken so much Excedrin in the last few days that he may as well have developed an immunity to the medication. His head throbbed mercilessly, making him miserable and noticeably depleting his energy. It had been three days since the tsunami and in all that time he’d hardly possessed the will to drag himself out of bed. He knew that Eddie looked at him worriedly when he thought he wasn’t looking, how he attempted to discreetly get up so Buck didn’t have to, how he walked slowly behind him up the stairs just in case— he knew all these things. He always assured him he was fine and was just feeling tired and sore but now he wasn’t too sure about that.

“Hey,” Eddie said, turning when Buck entered the dining room. He immediately frowned when he saw how unusually pale his husband was. “You okay?” he asked worriedly, setting his hand on his arm.

“Yeah, I’m fine,” Buck assured, blinking a few times before answering to knock him out of his stupor, “just a headache again,” he sighed.

“If it doesn’t get better, we’re getting you checked out again,” Eddie said, looking at him sadly. He hated to see him in pain after everything that had happened recently. “After dinner you should lie down, I’ll come with you,” he suggested, his tone soft.

Buck smiled softly and tiredly at him, nodding slowly, “Yeah, that sounds nice,” he agreed. He wanted nothing more than to be in bed right now with his two favorite people. Pressing a light kiss to Eddie’s lips in thanks, he moved to his usual seat and sat down. “Hey buddy,” he smiled, reaching his hand over to ruffle Christopher’s hair.

“I told everyone at school today about how cool my dad is,” Christopher gushed, smiling widely.

“That’s great Chris, your dad is pretty cool,” Buck smiled, his eyes moving to watch Eddie as he came on the other side of the table and sat down.

“No silly, I meant you,” Christopher clarified, shaking his head as if he couldn’t believe Buck didn’t get it.
