I started Time Heals All Wounds (Yet The Scars Remain) by @jessicas-pi a few days ago, which, perfect timing me, but reading the first chapter reminded me that psychometry existed.

(Love your Quinlan Vos by the way. I regularly quote his “That’s your opinion, man.” So more content on him is extremely appreciated 😄 super interested on your time travel/WBW rules but I’m sadly only in Chapter 2.)

Anyway, thanks for reminding me it’s not weird to know what happened through the Force for Ahsoka. Absolute lifesaver as I made my parents sit through the premiere so they didn’t have to rewatch it as I wondered what that Force thing was.

I want to be sympathetic to the 'I shouldn't have to watch Rebels to understand Ahsoka' crowd. But at the same time Rebels is one of the best things to come out of the Star Wars universe, so it's honestly your loss.

Mandatory Sabezra hype post because some of us are struggling after the premiere

Spoilers for Ahsoka below the cut

So, I know a lot of us are a bit down after the 'like a sister' line but do not get it in your mind that this is it and the ship has sunk.

Consider this, you are Ezra, you are about to do something very scary and you know you may never see your family again. You want to leave a separate message for the girl you have been in love with since you were 14 to let her know how much she means to you, but you also know that she has said several times how she does not reciprocate. If you tell her how you feel, in what might be the last thing you ever get to say to her, it would make it awkward for her if she never feels the same, so you panic and settle for the next best thing.

Also, his body language was soo awkward during that part specifically, like he didn't really believe what he was saying, and Sabine scoffed like she didn't believe it either.

There is also A LOT of subtext implying that she cares a lot deeper for him than just as a brother. I mean is dripping off of both episodes. Even if she is still in denial, her actions point to her almost definitely having deeper feelings. Ten years is a lot of time for feelings to changed/ be realized.

I am more worried about what their reunion will be like than a hologram that is a decade old.

All of this to say, DO NOT LOSE HOPE. We are still sailing a ship.

God those two episodes alone were so good. It feels so much like it was made for Rebel fans. Even though this is different in many ways from the animated series, it feels like nothing changed. The characters feel like themselves. I am excited for the next episodes.

Nothing has changed for me. My tiny raft is made of Beskar. The only thing that matters is the reunion. When they are together again. Now, if you'll excuse me, there's fan art that needs doing.

Sabezra fans, gentle reminder. There's nothing wrong with still shipping them.

Rebels started with Sabine seeing Ezra as nothing but a kid, eventually leaning toward a brother. We still shipped them.

Sabine and Ketsu called each other sisters - People still shipped them.

They're not blood-related. It was ONE line spoken by Ezra to Sabine, who he KNEW didn't like him back. Possibly just to make her feel better.

We all knew full well he had a massive crush...

My personal hope is we're going to see Ezra and Sabine have a kind of role swap. Sabine is the one pining for Ezra while Ezra is the dense idiot who can't catch on.

The way Sabine acted in these two episodes was full of subtle hints that there's something more going on underneath...

But either way. If Dave wants to go the route of Sabine and Ezra having a more best friends/siblings dynamic then sure. Idm, but I'm not going to stop shipping them.
