I haven't posted in ages but i’ve been playing loads recently with this legacy family, and i built them a new kitchen extension today and I'm super happy with it!

I know I jump around continuously in the Sims, but this week i’ve been working on this Mid-West Style home (I think that’s the style? - Do correct me if I'm wrong). 

I started building this in Newcrest as a suburban family home as it developed I thought it would suit Oasis Springs (or even Stangerville) more?

That evening Bens ghost came back, he was morning the loss of his wife... surely that are together again??

Sofia actually died on the morning of Thanksgiving... I was actually gutted I though it would have been a really nice last family holiday together!

Emelia and Zayne decided to still cook a grand meal and spend the day together celebrating Mum and Dads life long and happy lives.

Nooo! Not Sofia too! :’( She went out to collect the mail and died - maybe the cost of the bills was too much of a shock! 

Her death is actually really sad, it looks like she's taken a fall on the steps on the way out or something :””(

Happy Birthday Emilia! 

There was no big party this time, it was just a day after her Bens passing so the family didn't feel up to it. Sofia did have a nice gift for Emilia instead - some money she and Ben had been saving up.

So sad that the day Ben passes has come! The first death in this legacy.

Poor Sofia is utterly devastated, she tried pleading with the Grim Reaper but it didn't work. Emilia and Zayne are heartbroken that he's lost their day so Olive is doing her best to cheer everyone up with hugs <3

A little bit late to posting as it ended a few days ago but I really really enjoyed Sims Sessions! 

It would have been fun to see a little more variation in the music style and maybe more attractions in the ‘festival ground’ but overall I liked what was included. 

I hope they do more stuff like this - it added a fun little big of gameplay and made my Sim venture off lot which is something I always forget to do. What did you all think of it?

A little update to Zayne’s bedroom to make it more teenage friendly. Gone are the toys and science table, making way for the punch bag (he gained the active trait) and guitar!

Just rewatched ‘Motherland’ for the umpteenth time. Its a hilarious BBC Comedy about a ground of South West London middle-class mums. Would serious recommend!! 

5. Sweet, spicy or savory

Savoury! I cant get enough of beige picnic food this time of year! Give me sausage rolls, scotched eggs, quiche etc and i’m happy!  

6. Craving

Something sweet actually - Eton Mess, the greatest desert ever created and so perfect for summer! 

7. Tea or coffee

Of the two it would be Tea every time, but i’d much rather have a Hot Chocolate :D 

8. Currently working on

Far too many things, some of which I started back in 2017 (my Magnolia Promenade remake) but most recently I've got a collection of small houses in Newcrest.

It’s Zaynes Birthday!! 

To celebrate Zayne becoming a teenager Ben and Sofia threw him a huge Birthday Party with cake, music and everyone they knew - there's not many children or teens around so its predominantly a party of elders.

It wasn't all celebrations though, no sooner had Zayne blown out the candles, one of the guest keeled over and died... what a way to end the party!

With both Emilia and Zayne off to school, Sofia working from home and Ben enjoying retirement, they decided to make a day of it and spent some quality time together.

The Underwood Family Home: Domus Familiaris - Reno

Finally got round to uploading the home of my Legacy Family, the Underwoods, to the Gallery. 

I have been slowly renovating the Domus Familiaris room by room as they could afford to, now its complete I have uploaded it on the Gallery should any one be interest! Its a large family home with plenty of space for 4+ sims and their Pets.

Oops, I was meant to post this the other day but got side tracked by RL! The very last part of the house to be redecorated was the stairs and landing which I did at the same time as the entrance hall. 

This is a very large space which snakes around the upstairs so was a little difficult to furnish. At the end nearest the master bedroom and Bens office there is a new reading nook which i just adore whole side tables and artwork fill the rest of the space.

Now that the whole house is decorated I shall pop it on the gallery next time i load the game up. 

If anyone is interested I’ll post some overviews and details soon!

While doing the Kitchen makeover I also gave the final space downstairs, the hallway, a little renovation too. Used nice, natural tones in this space to tie the two brighter rooms either side together, i think its now a very welcoming entrance to their home.

The Underwoods have built up a good amount of funds so I thought it was about time they finally got a kitchen makeover!! I love how the space has turned out, its colours and bright but retains the traditional feel of the home :)

As summer draws to the close the underwoods are making the most of the last day of remaining sunny weather. 

Sofia has been out in the garden creating flower arrangements from her bountiful garden, while newly retired Ben has taken some time away from writing to relax in the pool and whipping up meals for the family.
