At Kermit's house, his friends were organizing a small surprise party for his birthday. They were sorting out the final details, like decorations and snacks.
A sound echoed in the room; it was Gonzo, pushing a heavy box across the floor filled with fireworks. Not only did it catch the attention of the other Muppets, but also Walter, who, unsure how to help with the party, approached Gonzo hoping to lend a hand.
"Hey, Gonzo! What've you got there?" Walter hurried over, inspecting the box closely.
"Oh, this? Haha, it's fireworks for the grand finale I've got planned. When it gets dark, there'll be a spectacular fireworks show outside, but we still need to fill the cannons with confetti. Could you ask Camila to do that?" Gonzo explained.
"But..." Walter looked puzzled. "Doesn't that sound pretty dangerous? Are you sure Kermit will like that?"
"Not for the great Gonzo...and trust me, he'll love it! I just need to get this box outside..." Gonzo pushed the box harder against the floor.
"Let me help you with that." Walter took the other side of the box, and together they carried it until Rowlf's voice interrupted them.
"Hey, hate to interrupt whatever you're doing, but here comes Kermit and The bear" Rowlf peered out the window, watching as Fozzie and Kermit approached the house.
Everyone present let out a collective gasp, echoing in Rowlf's ears. At the same time, Walter accidentally dropped the box with Gonzo. "No! Wait! Aaah!" The other Muppets rushed to the window to see.
"Why couldn't you have said something earlier?" Miss Piggy scolded Rowlf, grabbing him by the shoulder, but he was still somewhat stunned by the noise in his ears.
"Hey, I can't see!" Scooter tried to squeeze in to look out the window, barely kneeling to see through a small gap.
Meanwhile, Walter stood on tiptoes and leaned on Miss Piggy's head. "We're doomed! What are we going to do now? We're not ready yet! What if this all goes wrong? And what if Kermit doesn't like it? I don't think I can handle that." Rowlf and Scooter slowly backed away from the two of them.
"I hope you can handle this. Hi-yah!" With a swift kick to his face, Miss Piggy knocked Walter to the ground, leaving him unconscious. "I don't know what you lot are going to do, but moi won't let this party go to waste."
Rowlf approached where Walter lay, covering his mouth with his hand in concern for his friend. "Okay, this can't be good."
"Oh, it's worse than I thought!" Gonzo joined in, similarly inspecting Walter on the ground.
"You heard her, everyone, to your places, hide!" Scooter ordered the others, while Rowlf grabbed his arm.
"And of course, Kermit's going to scream with joy and excitement when he sees Walter passed out on the floor," Rowlf added, exchanging a silent glance with Scooter.
"So, could you take him somewhere else until he wakes up?" Scooter pointed to Rowlf, his suggestion sounding more like a command.
Rowlf nervously chuckled until he realized Scooter was serious. "Me?"
"What about my fireworks?" Gonzo interjected, looking at Scooter the same way.
"Okay, I'll help you with that, and you take care of Walter," , Scooter decided.
They left Rowlf alone, who sighed resignedly, muttering a quiet "Okay" to himself, and carried Walter on his back.
So I made this little story, just a draft for a comic that I might finish, or not. It's just the first part, and I wanted to know what you guys think.
