Unsurprisingly I have Fallout on the brain at the moment, and I am thinking prurient thoughts about ghouls. You know, I don't think most of them have usable genitals? Their skin texture and lack of noses and lips implies a pretty widespread lack of both soft tissues and moisture, and that's before we even get into whether or not they have the internal chemistry to experience arousal or anything even akin to it. I am, however, fascinated by the thought of the kink community that must exist in the Fallout universe of people who want to fuck ghouls. I bet if you go to the right places you can get little Tijuana-bible type comics where the Pip Boy gets railed by ghouls or something.

I mean, if you did fuck a ghoul you definitely wouldn't be able to get pregnant. You'll never need a morning-after pill, but you will need Rad-Away.

In my ongoing effort to conquer every fiber-based craft, tonight I made myself a sashiko-style palm thimble using this tutorial from Xiaoxiao Yarn. (Mine is a bit more colorful than hers, mostly because I love purple and I have so, so much embroidery floss.) It's made of denim that I harvested from a pair of thrifted jeans--the ring portion is a section of the hem, and the thimble itself is made with four circles of fabric cut from just above that. It's very comfortable! Looking forward to using it as I work on learning both sashiko and general hand-sewing for garments.
